Model Answer
this group discussion is based on on campus life and off campus life. there are three speakers in this group discussion. the first speaker states that she lives on campus and she lives in an on campus dormitory which is more comfortable. however, there is a lack of privacy and being on-site makes everything accessible and you can also do nighttime group projects. however she wants to move out next semester to prevent noisy neighbors and many other issues. the second speaker lives off campus and he states that off-campus causes him to commute longer but he has his own kitchen and he has more freedom. he thinks that being off-campus is cheaper but it is a huge responsibility because you have to cook your own food, be responsible for yourself, pay your own bills and remember all these things to do it on time. and the third speaker states that he has tried both living on campus and off campus. he states that being on campus requires structure and he liked the sense of community because you have people around you, especially of the same age. also states that being on campus, you never really get detached from university life because you are always living in the university. whereas when he tried off campus, he noticed that he had a better work life balance and he was independent. so he concludes saying that being on campus or off campus is based on the type of personality you are. if you like a few things then you can be on campus otherwise you can prefer off campus.
