Model Answer
the discussion is between three people who are facing a struggle and a challenge for choosing their electives. one of the first speakers mentions a struggle for choosing electives wherein he mentions that he wants to choose a subject that may help with the job opportunities in the long run. the second speaker mentions that she chose environmental literature but she is afraid that it won't help for job opportunities and getting a good employment in the long run. the third speaker mentions that he opted for data analytics which has more value-able in the long run as far as job opportunities are concerned. the first speaker again highlights that it is under a great pressure that he finds himself in to be strategic with the choices that he makes. the second one then mentions that a balance is required for choosing electives and subjects must be chosen so that one of the subjects aligns with their career in the long run whereas the other one is a subject that they generally enjoy. as one of the speaker later mentions that we are underestimating the softer electics, for example body language and the spoken english and another one suggests that they must speak to their career counselors so as to get better insights on what might be helpful in the long run for job opportunities and for balancing something that they actually enjoy. at the end of this discussion, a conclusion was made that it is about learning and not about collecting grades. overall the discussion is about three people trying to find the best electives for their future so as to balance their interests and their job opportunities.
