When I was a kid, I had a little pencil box which had these four buttons which gave the pencil box an operative use. When you press the button, the box would open up. When you press the second button, a little part of it would slide out. Basically it was just a little electronical and a fun thing to have and I owned it when I was in 6th. One day after break, I was standing and talking there with one of my friends and another friend of mine was running through the hallway and accidentally she pushed my shoulder and my pencil box hit the ground and it broke into multiple pieces to the point that it was not functional anymore.

It Ends With Us is a book I read recently. It's by the author Colleen Hoare. It's mainly a story about two teenagers, Atlas and Lily, and how they just handle their life going through high school, adolescence, and just domestic violence at home. Both of them come from very, very different families. However, they have one common determining factor between them, which is domestic violence. The abuse that they've seen their moms go through is just insane, and they connect through that on a different level. They're actually in the same high school, but they never speak to each other until Atlas actually crashes into an empty house next to Lily's villa. When Atlas is homeless and he doesn't have anywhere to go, he just comes and breaks into the house next to Lily's, and Lily helps him with all the daily necessities like clothes and food, medicines and stuff. Furthermore, their friendship blossoms into love, but it doesn't really fructify as Atlas has to leave. This book really gave me a lot of knowledge about domestic abuse and how to deal with it.

So basically, two of my friends had an argument over a topic that if a smartphone is better or laptop is better. They were my school friends. One of them said that laptop is more useful these days but the other one denied and said it is easily accessible to carry smartphone anywhere. You have multiple options to do in smartphone but in laptop you are burdened to carry a bag and everything. The other one said that laptop makes good visibility of the screen and stuff. I felt it was completely fine argument because they were not fighting about that argument. They were just putting their thoughts or opinions about that and because of that they come to a conclusion that both of the devices are useful in this new emerging era of modernization. While smartphone is handy and is useful for day to day life, laptop is also useful for the people who work in corporate and who work from home. For them it is very easy to handle laptop and it's better to watch things in bigger screens than in small screen of the phone. So in the end of the argument, they came to a conclusion that both have its advantages and disadvantages and you are totally free to choose whatever you want. If you are a teenager or adult, you just need to make a call and stuff. You can use smartphone and if you want to do some work, you can use a laptop. So that's it.

I have seen a very disturbing argument between my two college friends. One's name was Seema and other's name was Jagruti. So in the last year we had given a topic we had to make a presentation on. It was our final year project. So we were discussing about topics. So I and Jagruti were saying we should choose politics and Seema was saying that we should take environment as our final year project topic. So Jagruti started yelling at Seema that we should not choose that topic. It's not relevant to our studies and Seema was saying it's different and nobody is choosing it. They started yelling at each other. They started arguing in the classroom and I felt so embarrassed about it and as well as guilty because they were arguing all the time and I couldn't do anything. I couldn't say anything. I couldn't stop the thing. I tried to though but they were not listening to me. They were just kept arguing with each other. At last I went to the teacher and I asked for her help. So she came and she stopped them and because of this argument we couldn't do our presentation on time and it really made me sad. Because of this they lost their really precious friendship.

So recently I visited a close friend of mine, his name is Rahul Nair. We have been friends for around 5 years now. I would say we are close enough to discuss a lot of topics between us comfortably without having to worry about what the other person might think or what we react negatively. Recently we have had a discussion about whether the current laws are enough to protect women in particular, given the fact that there are a lot of cases reported about violence against them. I was of the opinion that the laws should be more stricter and the punishments should be more significant so as to prevent any such cases further on. However, Rahul, as I said his name was, had different opinions about it. He felt that increasing laws or making them any more stricter in fact could harm the victims themselves. He was of the opinion that if there is a death penalty imposed on a victim, that would leave very less reasons for the accused to spare the victim. They wouldn't want the victim to reveal their identity and hence they would even try to kill them. So, he was of the opinion that laws should be made thinking in mind about the victim's state and health as well. We had similar discussions about laws, especially the ones that are related to marital laws, the ones that govern divorces. I felt that there was a high chance that significant changes were brought under this law, especially for the men, since a lot of rules and regulations seem to be against divorce.

Okay, I had a recent argument with my friends, they were my college mates. The argument was about who is the greatest of all the time in the football history. We used to do this all the time, but this one was really different. It really went off the chart. It started when we were sitting on the football ground, we were watching a football match, a local match from the sideline, and one of my friends said, Who do you think will be your recommendation for the last penalty for a match, if it goes wrong?

I have friends from my college which are really good friends but one day they were fighting in an argument about if there should be medicals. There are medicals for covid and cancer introduced in the market, okay. So suppose they were free of cost, okay. So everybody would be easily available to get those medicines and it would be easily accessible for those who actually need it and for everyone. But if it's free why would a doctor create it and why would a doctor even try to become a doctor, right, to treat them if they are not benefiting them. But it should be like a social service but nobody is interested in that in this generation. So they were arguing about it and the other party was saying that it should be free because not everyone is accessible to it and the other one was saying that not all doctors are same but if government will spend on them so that they could be easily accessible or free for those who are poor it would be great for both of them, the rich and poor both will be accessible to that medicine and I think that he was right. The government should provide for the poor and make this medicines accessible for both rich and poor.

I got an argument with my friend Rishma. She is my best friend. One day, one situation happened in our native. That is, about this Sabarimala temple. It's a traditional temple where the boys only can enter over the girls. Between the age of 1 to 10 and after 50 to some age of girls only can enter in that place. Because of the periods which happening to the girls, it makes that place very unhygienic. So the temple is mainly for the male or the boys only can enter over there. Unfortunately, one day some girls entered in that temple and it changed into a political war. Some say one politician group centered them and the other team told about the other political team. So this war was going. At that time she told me that she is also a Hindu. And she told me that why girls can enter in the Sabarimala temple, it's only for boys. Why? So I told her that it's a traditional temple and also there is a historical story behind that. So we are not the people to change that things at all. So we should obey the decades of rules. So I am not interested in that of things. I believe in the historical stories. So she disagreed with me and also I disagreed with her.

so I was recently in an argument with two of my friends had so they they were one of my close friends I mean my best friends I could say they were in an argument that both of them had similar outfits and one of them were like I was the one who was supposed to wear this today and the other one was like I was the one who was supposed to wear today but then I insisted both of them to not going to an argument for this such a small matter rather discuss another topic which is more necessary in this specific environment and part which you are spending together but then they both were in a disagreement with me that no this matter the specific matter is an important matter for us and we are not going to stop arguing or stop an argument about this we would specifically disagree with you and we will continue our argument

    Band 6

So today I've got a pleasure to talk about an argument that two of my friends had. I would like to flash back and go to the memories that comes to my top of my mind. It was the days during which we were actually having our farewell of class 12th. My friends and I were actually assigned a work to decide the theme of the whole farewell and event. So we actually came into a conclusion afterwards that it would be based on some colors that would be dark. But eventually what happened my like one of my friend Rose argument or she conflicted that it would not be nice. We should change it because it is a very common idea that actually a lot of people else in the school does. She wants to make that idea a little distinct one. So she suggested why not let's try an experiment a very unique thing that someone had never done in their lives. One of my friend her name was Ria. She rose questions why to try and risk the farewell because all the duties were actually so inflexible. So we can actually not make changes very easily. So she argued that we should like go as it is going and we should not change it. So these two were actually blown and they argued to a level that was really intense. I felt very bad because me seeing my two of the best friends which were very closest to me. Since my class 4th were actually arguing and fighting over issues that were of pretty importance. So then after the issue was resolved by my teacher itself but that actually made me more insecure about our friendship.
