When I was a kid, I had a little pencil box which had these four buttons which gave the pencil box an operative use. When you press the button, the box would open up. When you press the second button, a little part of it would slide out. Basically it was just a little electronical and a fun thing to have and I owned it when I was in 6th. One day after break, I was standing and talking there with one of my friends and another friend of mine was running through the hallway and accidentally she pushed my shoulder and my pencil box hit the ground and it broke into multiple pieces to the point that it was not functional anymore.

It Ends With Us is a book I read recently. It's by the author Colleen Hoare. It's mainly a story about two teenagers, Atlas and Lily, and how they just handle their life going through high school, adolescence, and just domestic violence at home. Both of them come from very, very different families. However, they have one common determining factor between them, which is domestic violence. The abuse that they've seen their moms go through is just insane, and they connect through that on a different level. They're actually in the same high school, but they never speak to each other until Atlas actually crashes into an empty house next to Lily's villa. When Atlas is homeless and he doesn't have anywhere to go, he just comes and breaks into the house next to Lily's, and Lily helps him with all the daily necessities like clothes and food, medicines and stuff. Furthermore, their friendship blossoms into love, but it doesn't really fructify as Atlas has to leave. This book really gave me a lot of knowledge about domestic abuse and how to deal with it.

A recent argument that two of my friends had was a really a major one, which really seemed to be about conflicting views about the existence of Gods. While one of my friends was a staunch believer in God and the other one happens to be an atheist. Both of them argued placing their point very strongly. However, I do not agree to whatever that they were saying. While they were right with their putting forth their own views, however, they did not realize that while arguing, all they did was hurt each other. I think a better way to argue about such a sensitive topic would be when both of them would be at peace and in a position to learn and understand the other person's point of view. And frankly, when both of the parties involved in the argument are angry and upset, it doesn't really lead to a very pleasant thing to argue about.

I remember during high school, my two best friends, Shreya and Nitya, who were also my classmates, had a big fight and it led to a huge misunderstanding between both of them and it affected me as well. It was caused because of Shreya not being able to help Nitya with her projects. Usually, my friend Shreya is always helping Nitya with writing her assignments as she has good handwriting. But this time, she was really busy with her other friends and forgot about the help she had to give to Nitya. And I remember Nitya confronting Shreya about this and both of them expressed their feelings and Shreya had also apologized to her. And it made me feel like in a tight position but it was ended well as they both apologized. And it was also a point where I had to choose sides but I ended up not doing so as it would have ended in a very heated argument. I made them understand that there was no ill intention of anyone in this scenario and that we should not be quarreling over such a small misunderstanding. Furthermore, Shreya promised Nitya that she would help her and not forget about her assignments in future and she assured her that she would make it on time as well. And Nitya was relieved hearing this and it went off and ended very smoothly and positively as both showed maturity instead of fighting over the same thing again and again.

One silly feud that I remember my colleagues Pandian and Shivaraman had is what comes to my mind when I think of argument between friends. I don't exactly remember what the cause for the argument was but it certainly was some misunderstanding over somebody mocking Pandian and Shivaraman getting along with them. But it got to a point that they took it very personally and before to this they were inseparable but after this they wouldn't even look at each other. At first we all didn't care much, we thought they might get back together in a matter of time. But they kept at it for months together and we used to go together for lunch and then it started that Pandian would stay away from the group. It actually started to become really awkward for the whole group. Then we thought of taking matters into our hands and then we decided to get them to talk to each other. However, many attempts we tried they never truly understood what the problem was because they both had different interpretation of what had happened. At last on my birthday I decided this can't happen for much long because usually we had a habit of getting together and going out for lunches. So I called them both, I invited them both for a lunch party and then there we sorted it out. Ever since then they have not had a fight. But they are really good friends that they have all these silly fights every now and then.

I would like to talk about an argument that happened between two of my close friends Riya and Anjali during our college days. We were all part of the same project group and the disagreement occurred during one of our planning sessions. The argument was about dividing the work fairly, Riya felt that Anjali was not doing her part and was relying too much on others. On the other hand, Anjali believed that she had done the initial research, so it was now the others turn to contribute more. The discussion started calmly, but it soon turned a bit heated. Both of them raised their voices at each other and started blaming. The rest of us in the group were quite uncomfortable as we did not want to take the sides. In the end, I decided to step in and try to mediate the situation. I suggested we write down each task and assign it clearly to avoid confusion. Once the roles were divided properly, things calmed down and both of them apologized to each other the next day. Personally, I felt quite awkward and a bit anxious during the argument because they are both good friends of mine. But I also realized that misunderstandings are common when people work together and clear communication is the really important key to avoid conflicts.

So, a long back I have an argument with my friend Mohit Krishna. It is related to a trip. So when we are discussing about a trip where we have to go, I mentioned that we will go for Nandi hills. But he refused that and he is saying we will go for Chamundi hills. But Chamundi hills is very long comparatively because it was a sunny day. So, my couple of friends also they supported me, we will go for Nandi hills. So, that is why I have chosen and I have recommended to him to go for Nandi hills. Then, again he refused that and there will be a heat up of argument. So, we spoke each other very clearly and we mentioned that advantages and disadvantages of visiting both places. Then, we finalized about going for the respective place. So, again we have discussing and we have followed up continuously all of our friends to go for the trip and we started finally going for the Nandi hills. While going also Mohit started a heat argument related to that place. When we started to go, suddenly it started raining. So, that time he said if you are going for Chamundi hills means there will be no rain. But since Sandeep said about going for this place, rain was suddenly planned. So, that is the reason we continuously walked up to reaching Nandi hills. We argued each other. So, after reaching there, Mohit Krishna's opinion has changed because that place is full of good nature and weather. So, don't judge by its cover.

Lately I had an argument with my own roommate regarding pursuing higher or pursuing a job. So my decision was that, according to me, pursuing higher education is better and she was working for getting into a job. So what I felt is, right now I am currently pursuing my bachelor's, so in my opinion pursuing master's after this, finishing the whole of my education and then getting into a job or industry would be better for me. But what she was saying is, working for a few years and then maybe pursuing higher if possible. According to me that would not really sound great because once you've gotten into the industry and once you've started earning, it's not technically possible for you to get back and pursue education again. You would not have the previous focus that you had, you would have a lot of mental pressure Also once you're leaving your job and continuing studying, you might also be financially dependent or you might face many economic problems. So according to me, what I feel is, when you want to pursue studies, you have to study in a full stretch and once you're done with studying and then deciding a job or shaping your life would be a better decision according to me. So what I strongly disagree with her is, having worked for 2-3 years and then getting back into the education sector again might not sound a great idea because you would end up changing your mindset and after that tuning back your mindset to this might not be very easy according to me.

My friends from college and I are a very strong group, however, there had been an unsettling issue regarding another friend who had broken up with all of us and distanced himself from each and every member of our group. And there was a disagreement about his behavior towards us, between two of my friends who are present in the group currently, they fought about why he did so and what were his thoughts and actions for justifying his behavior. And my friends argued that over his nature versus his nurture, which I felt was really unnecessary in the first place. However, since they had their own opinions, I was taken aback by how viciously they fought each other regarding their own opinions about a person who had already betrayed us. Now, after the disagreement, we had a long pause over our friendship. We weren't in talking terms with each other for a long time. However, I took the effort to hash out all our issues and regroup ourselves so that we can maintain our friendships, at least for those who want to, and not carry the vestiges of the past. Troubling relations into the future and start anew.

Recently I had an argument with my close friend. Actually, he just got very much angry over a very small topic. Actually, he called me thrice but my phone was in the silent mode so I couldn't pick up but according to him, it's like I was ignoring his call but why would I do that? He is my best friend. But according to him, like I was just ignoring him or like that because basically the time that he called was between 5 to 7 which is my leisure time on most of the days and he knows that very well so according to him, what was I doing in my leisure time that I ignored his call but that was not the correct reason. So yeah, we had a fight about that and he actually didn't talk to me for a couple of days but after few days, we patch up and we are friends again and I am happy for that.

I have two close friends, Rhea and Abhishek, and I remember the last time that they had an argument, it was because of a gift. It was Rhea's birthday and Abhishek forgot about it and Rhea was very devastated because we three are the best friends. So they both were best friends as well. She was very devastated, she expected more from him. On the other hand, Abhishek was like, okay, she is my friend, she will understand. And he was expecting a little bit more leaning towards him. But after an hour or so, they both realized that they were expecting a lot from each other. They sat down, they had a conversation, and after some time, they were okay. And when they were having the argument, I was just sitting on the side. I didn't know what to do because they both are my friends. I was not comfortable taking someone's side. So I was just sitting there and when they had a conversation and they decided to end their argument, I felt so much better. Because I did not want to be in the middle of it.

I remember one day when I was sitting with my friends, among them Ram and Shyam were having an argument over the topic of whether they should prepare for an interview using groups which are already cleared that interview or prepared by himself without contacting that group. And Ram was in a favor of preparing in a group which have already had experienced before will help you to strong the weakest area and also give us the feedback whereas Shyam has condemned this idea proposed by Ram by saying that this would lead us to distraction by focusing on a rather larger view or opinion. He is in support of studying or studying for the preparation of interview by himself would benefit us more compared to when we prepare them with the help of the group.
