When I was a kid, I had a little pencil box which had these four buttons which gave the pencil box an operative use. When you press the button, the box would open up. When you press the second button, a little part of it would slide out. Basically it was just a little electronical and a fun thing to have and I owned it when I was in 6th. One day after break, I was standing and talking there with one of my friends and another friend of mine was running through the hallway and accidentally she pushed my shoulder and my pencil box hit the ground and it broke into multiple pieces to the point that it was not functional anymore.

It Ends With Us is a book I read recently. It's by the author Colleen Hoare. It's mainly a story about two teenagers, Atlas and Lily, and how they just handle their life going through high school, adolescence, and just domestic violence at home. Both of them come from very, very different families. However, they have one common determining factor between them, which is domestic violence. The abuse that they've seen their moms go through is just insane, and they connect through that on a different level. They're actually in the same high school, but they never speak to each other until Atlas actually crashes into an empty house next to Lily's villa. When Atlas is homeless and he doesn't have anywhere to go, he just comes and breaks into the house next to Lily's, and Lily helps him with all the daily necessities like clothes and food, medicines and stuff. Furthermore, their friendship blossoms into love, but it doesn't really fructify as Atlas has to leave. This book really gave me a lot of knowledge about domestic abuse and how to deal with it.

The foreign food which I have had and like is actually a chocolate. It is an Australian chocolate that I had for the first time when I visited my relatives in Australia in 2018. It is manufactured by the company Arnotts, I believe. It is a combination of two wafers and between those two wafers is a creamy layer of chocolate ganache. The entire thing is then covered with chocolate which provides for a smooth texture overall. It is an extremely delightful experience when you are having it. And another thing that I recently came across is a concept called as slim tins in which you bite off the opposite ends of the chocolate, sip warm milk using the chocolate as a straw and the result of that is that it creates a soft biscuit which practically melts in your mouth the minute you put it in.

So one foreign dish that I like is a white sauce pasta. I first tried it at a friend's birthday party where her mom had made the best white sauce pasta I could have ever tried. The one thing that I like about it is how easy it is to make and it's just so soothing. Something about it is very comforting and therefore I love the dish and I love how I can incorporate a lot of vegetables in it which I usually don't eat on a regular basis. So the vegetables when mixed with the cheese pasta or the cheese sauce with like chilli flakes and oregano, it just gives a good taste and that is something, that is one of my go-to meals. I can either have a vegetarian or non-vegetarian depending on my mood and it is something very comforting and very easy to make and it is like a very unique spin on the normal pastas that you usually have, the ready-to-make kind of pastas. So it is a very easy thing or an easy hands-on cooking experience for someone who's not a very good or a regular based cook.

My favorite foreign dish is pasta which is originated from Italy. Pasta is well known for its secret of sauces. It has a great flavor of cheese and its sauces. There are multiple different types of pastas we do have. And with the secret sauces and the cheese we can create lot of pastas like white sauce pasta, cherry tomato pasta, etc. So pasta is actually served with garlic bread, either garlic bread or pizza. It is a very light dish and topped with flavors of cheese and sauces. So it takes very less time to prepare and it is a three course meal where people can have in their breakfast, during their lunch and dinner. It is not as heavy as other food items. And it is available almost every place in India and out of India. Though the ingredients it includes a very little bit of oil and butter makes it more delicious. A touch of garlic and cheese cream makes it more flavorful. So pasta is a very underrated dish and which is a very easy to prepare and has lot of flavorful ingredients in it. We can make it in easier time and it can be served and topped with any of the dishes. And it makes itself stand out from every other dish.

My favorite foreign dish that I've had has got to be ramen. It is a dish from a Japanese cuisine and it consists of noodles along with a spicy curry. Furthermore, it has a lot of diverse varieties. For example, you can get it in a sweeter curry and you can get it in more of a bland curry which is just full of spices and a healthy alternative. However, I always like to have the spicy curries which also sometimes have a Korean taste to it. The first time I ever tried it was in a place called Chef James. It is a place in Andheri which serves I think the best ramen in Mumbai. Why I like ramen is because it has a very diverse taste which is somewhat opposite to the entire Indian cuisine. And because I have been so connected to animes and the entire of Japanese culture, ramen attracted me a lot. Furthermore, Japan has also attracted me because I was a major Beyblade fan. It was later that I found out that it is an anime and I saw Naruto in which he is a huge ramen fan. Because of which I always wanted to try ramen but everybody kept telling me that it is not vegetarian. I grew up and I found out that there are vegetarian options. But the major reason that I love ramen has got to be because of the people that I have it with. I think the people from my college have served the major.

Recently, I went to a Mexican restaurant which is nearby to my house. The restaurant's name was Picantos. I ate burritos and some nachos over there and I loved the taste of the burritos. It was exquisite. It had a mixture of beans, salsa, guacamole, rice and the texture of the bread was just soft and you could just take a bite and relish it. It was very fulfilling and different from what I eat usually which is Indian food and Italian food like noodles, pizza, pasta. I really like Mexican food because it has a taste which no other cuisine has and sadly you cannot find a lot of exquisite and authentic Mexican restaurants where I live but if I go abroad then I would definitely eat Mexican till I get bored of it.

I'll be talking about a food that I tried recently and I enjoyed having it. It's called the Thai Green Curry. I visited Thailand some time back on a vacation and I had the opportunity to try out Thai Green Curry one day while I was having lunch with my family and I must say that I loved the smell and the taste of it. So it came with a bowl of sticky rice as they call it in Thailand and you are also given with a bowl of diced chicken in green curry and the taste is very delicious. What stands out to me is when you try it, when you try the green curry you get the smell of coconut and coriander and the chicken is prepared so well that it is extremely soft and it melts in your mouth. Apart from that I loved the taste of sticky rice so the combination was absolutely perfect and I loved it. And the moment we tried it once during the trip I think for the rest of the days we kept on trying Thai Green Curry and even after coming back to India we have tried that multiple times. So it's recently become our favourite among the international cuisines.

One kind of foreign food that I like to have and have tried it is sushi, which is a traditional Japanese dish. I first had sushi at a Japanese restaurant in Bangalore when I went out with my college friends to celebrate a project success. I was a bit hesitated at first because sushi generally contains raw fish and that was very new to me. But once I tried it, I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious and fresh it was. Sushi is typically made of rice, raw fish or seafood like salmon or tuna, and sometimes vegetables like cucumber or avocado. It is often served with soya sauce, wasabi, green paste, and pickled ginger. What I really like about sushi is how light and healthy it feels. It is not too oily or spicy like most of the Indian dishes. I find sushi interesting because it reflects Japanese culture, which values simplicity, freshness, and balance. After eating it few more times, I have grown the unique taste and texture of it. Now, however I get a chance, I love going to sushi places and try different varieties like maki roll, nilgiri, and samai.

One kind of foreign food that I really like and have actually tried in sushi, which is a traditional Japanese dish, I first had it about 2 years ago at a well-known Japanese restaurant in Delhi, which I visited with a few friends who are food enthusiasts. At first, I was a bit hesitant because sushi often includes raw fish, which I had never tried before, but once I tasted it, I was personally surprised. The sushi roll had a combination of vegetated rice, salted raw salmon and a rare serve with a soy sauce, wasabi and pickled ginger. The taste was really fresh and delicious, with a perfect balance of texture, soft rice and slightly clear sweet wrap and a brush of flavor from the fish and sexual. What I really like about sushi is that it's not only delicious but also very healthy and beautifully presented, the chefs take a lot of care of arranging it in a very aesthetic way, which makes the experience feel special. Also it's a light meal, so you don't feel too full afterward, but still satisfied.

One foreign food item that I absolutely love is Neapolitan pizza which is originally from Italy. I had it for the very first time at an authentic Italian restaurant in Delhi about a year ago and it has left an impression that I've been hooked ever since. The Neapolitan pizza is very different from other pizzas we get at normal fast-food chains. It has a thin, soft and slightly chewy crust. Moreover, it's baked at a very high temperature in a wood-fired oven so makes it completely authentic. In comparison to the other pizzas which are loaded with cheese and toppings Neapolitan is a perfect combination of balance and quality. Trying the pizza was not just about the taste was also about the experience just like I was trying a small piece of Italian tradition. All in all,

I think the most common foreign food I could really describe right now and I've had is pizza. Pizza is something that is extremely tasty and it's like a burst of flavors in my mouth. The mozzarella cheese which is sprinkled on the top of the fresh dough goes so well with the marinara sauce. The ingredients are basic simple yet a beautiful combination. The first time I had pizza was with a friend and we went to this Italian restaurant and I was just head over heels for this. I've never tasted something that tasty and it just made my mood so delighted and overall I was so happy and grateful to the person who introduced me to such an amazing dish.
