Model Answer
so the topic of the discussion is ai tools for assessment. so there are two males and one female docking. they talk about how ai tools are being used for correcting the assessment, the grammar tools, and et cetera. the second person believes that it is frustrating for students especially when they think that they have written right, but the ai assesses otherwise. the main reason being the university's and schools using ai-generated tests now a lot, but the lady who is talking says that what would be the alternative to using these ai tools, it would be because they're very similar to using tools that are used for plagiarism checks. now, the topic also arises where that the burden of proof falls in the students' hands, whether they have to prove what they have written is actually an original or it is being copied from elsewhere and they believe that the issue is a false positive that come from these ai generated tests where the ai thinks that it is being a copy or a cheat but it is actually not and this they say all of them agree and they say that this increases anxiety among students and that the ai can misread the writing styles of the student versus the actual originality. so they agree also that more teaching needs to go in terms of how to avoid plagiarism and original writing can be improved rather than actually polishing the process. they also understand that it has to be more transparent and more explanations need to be given before penalizing this child or the student and it does not replace a good teaching and evaluation.
