When I was a kid, I had a little pencil box which had these four buttons which gave the pencil box an operative use. When you press the button, the box would open up. When you press the second button, a little part of it would slide out. Basically it was just a little electronical and a fun thing to have and I owned it when I was in 6th. One day after break, I was standing and talking there with one of my friends and another friend of mine was running through the hallway and accidentally she pushed my shoulder and my pencil box hit the ground and it broke into multiple pieces to the point that it was not functional anymore.

It Ends With Us is a book I read recently. It's by the author Colleen Hoare. It's mainly a story about two teenagers, Atlas and Lily, and how they just handle their life going through high school, adolescence, and just domestic violence at home. Both of them come from very, very different families. However, they have one common determining factor between them, which is domestic violence. The abuse that they've seen their moms go through is just insane, and they connect through that on a different level. They're actually in the same high school, but they never speak to each other until Atlas actually crashes into an empty house next to Lily's villa. When Atlas is homeless and he doesn't have anywhere to go, he just comes and breaks into the house next to Lily's, and Lily helps him with all the daily necessities like clothes and food, medicines and stuff. Furthermore, their friendship blossoms into love, but it doesn't really fructify as Atlas has to leave. This book really gave me a lot of knowledge about domestic abuse and how to deal with it.

My, I should tell, I am very blessed to have this friend till now, from my childhood till now as my best friend and she is Mercy. I have met her, I have met her in my school when I was exactly, if I have to tell, I was in 7th grade and we became friends 8th grade. One day I was sitting in my bench and she was sitting in the last bench. Just like that my ma'am made some other girl sit next to me. She was crying. I didn't feel nice. I directly went back and sat next to her. I don't know, just like that we had a conversation and in one click we became the closest friends and I can really tell we were not so good friends back then. I mean we were friends but not a great friendship, like a best friend thing. When we were in college, if I have to tell, we moved to same college, we've been together since like 10 years now and we moved back to the same college, we became more close, we knew everything about us and I must tell we have same actions, we get hurt same times for the same reasons, same family problems. Everything is so same about us and I feel so happy to have her in my life. She is like a blessing for me. So, Tachod, I hope this friendship goes forever. This is the best thing which happened to me in my life. I can share everything with her without any hesitation and she helps me so much. Even for this exam preparation, she was there with me throughout. She was boosting me up. She helped me in every possible way that she can do and the recent time, this long distance friendship really hurts us but we get to know each other even more better now.

So, I met this friend, Dishank, who lives in my neighborhood and he's been quite a good friend since childhood. We had met in the common playground in our vicinity where we were playing cricket. How he grabbed my attention was that he was bowling quite well and I, being a batsman, loved challenging bowlers. So, that's how our friendship grew and that's how we became the closest friend. So, we used to play cricket every weekend and we also used to study together and learn different topics and he has been a good friend ever since. Today, he is a managing director in the company and we still share a very good bond together. We still do meet on weekends and we still go out and play sometimes in turfs. It does remind me of my old times and the days where I used to play cricket a lot and a learning part from him is that he used to never give up. He always used to try and bowl the best ball possible and the most wicket-taking person in our particular vicinity is Dishank and that's how the overall journey with him has been like. He has been a great friend.

So, the friend with whom I am going to talk is Sanjana. So, Sanjana was my childhood friend and I had met her on my school days. Our first meeting was on my mother's friend's birthday and there I had met her and we came to know there only that we were from the same school. Initially as our sections were different for getting our academic inference we were unknown to each other. But after knowing that we started to part with each other, we used to converse a lot. We had also developed likeness towards same entities just like movies, series, shows and music. Then we have also been freak out on our birthdays. We used to greet each other. We have developed a strong bond of friendship during our school days. Our friendship grew a lot into a more comprehensive, enigmatic and innovative way. We used to share our thoughts, express our feelings, sentiments and emotions and slowly and steadily we used to be best friends with each other. As a result of a girl-boy relationship, when we start reaching our adolescence period, on her part she had tried to develop some feelings of romance on me by touching me and this touch grew into some other affectionate instances. But as well as to reduce this effect of encumbrance, we have also seen that slowly and steadily we got each other our life partner and after that factors like ego and jealousy have made us separation. But even after the separation, the sense of humanity and ethics and virtue and the memory has kept us tight in this strong bond of friendship. So, that's all about my story.

I met my childhood best friend when she was in pre-school and I was in junior KG, we were both very very young, we lived in the same society and that's how we became friends. To be precise, I don't really, neither of us really remember how we really met or how we really became friends but I'm pretty sure whenever it was and however it was, it was a very natural thing and it happened very organically, we are till date very close, it has been a good 8-9 years to this beautiful friendship of ours and it is one of the most amazing relationships that I embrace in my life. After my family, she is the one I am the closest to, she is like the younger sister I never had, she is 2 years younger to me and she is a beautiful human being, she is so patient, she is a very good listener, I can tell her everything, I can share all my secrets with her, stuff that I cannot tell anyone else. She is the pillar that holds me when I fall and we have a lot of love for each other, we have a lot of respect for each other, we have been inseparable since childhood and I don't think I would have it any other way, she is one of the best things that has ever happened to me and I hope if you ask her about me, she would say the same thing. I feel like having a best friend in your life, especially in your teenage where your relationship with your parents becomes a little strained is very important and a childhood best friend makes it even better because a childhood best friend knows all your flaws, knows how you are and never judges you for it.
