When I was a kid, I had a little pencil box which had these four buttons which gave the pencil box an operative use. When you press the button, the box would open up. When you press the second button, a little part of it would slide out. Basically it was just a little electronical and a fun thing to have and I owned it when I was in 6th. One day after break, I was standing and talking there with one of my friends and another friend of mine was running through the hallway and accidentally she pushed my shoulder and my pencil box hit the ground and it broke into multiple pieces to the point that it was not functional anymore.

    Answer

It Ends With Us is a book I read recently. It's by the author Colleen Hoare. It's mainly a story about two teenagers, Atlas and Lily, and how they just handle their life going through high school, adolescence, and just domestic violence at home. Both of them come from very, very different families. However, they have one common determining factor between them, which is domestic violence. The abuse that they've seen their moms go through is just insane, and they connect through that on a different level. They're actually in the same high school, but they never speak to each other until Atlas actually crashes into an empty house next to Lily's villa. When Atlas is homeless and he doesn't have anywhere to go, he just comes and breaks into the house next to Lily's, and Lily helps him with all the daily necessities like clothes and food, medicines and stuff. Furthermore, their friendship blossoms into love, but it doesn't really fructify as Atlas has to leave. This book really gave me a lot of knowledge about domestic abuse and how to deal with it.

Well, I think friends play a vital role in everybody's life. Here I am going to talk about my childhood friend. Her name is Mahi. She is a down-to-earth person and she is also a mischievous person by her nature. I met her for the first time in sixth standard at my school. Actually, in my village, it is only one to five standard school and I had to change my school. In sixth standard, I went to Bodni school which had students from nearby villages. She lives in a hamlet, Bodda, which has lush greenery and that village is also developed. Furthermore, we used to talk about our labours. We used to discuss as well as we both were brilliant students of our class and teachers always prefer to make us in a group that we can work hard and we can also be out of the blue for results. I feel very good with her. She is my best friend now. Whenever I stuck in problem, I just prefer to talk with her and I can calm myself without much and more effort. She always gives me solution for my problems. Apart from all this, she is a down-to-earth and kind person. So, Mahi is my childhood friend since sixth standard.

The friend I am talking about is named Saisri. I met them at my school when I first joined. Initially we were not friends at all, but over time, through various assignments and tasks and also sharing a bench, we have become quite close and also spent a lot of our times during the later years of my school together playing or doing various activities. Over time, we lost connection after we finished schooling and I thought the connection has waved over. But this connection has weakened over time when I wished her for her birthday as I remembered it vividly. Since that time we started talking again, revisiting our memories as well as trying to understand who we are as people right now. When we started bonding over our current experiences along with our visual or memory understanding of each other from our childhood, it has been such a new but different experience of our friendship that we bonded over a few years ago.

But after some time, his father got transferred so he had to move along with his family. We both decided to stay in touch and make regular trips to each other's hometowns. After 2-3 years, I decided to visit his place. So I took a train from 6 am from Chandigarh railway station to Delhi as he was transferred to Delhi. So I was very excited as I was going to meet my childhood friend. I was remembering the memories which we used to share on the last bench of our class. How we used to do our homework, play the games and enjoy every moment. I was very excited to meet him so after reaching at Delhi, he was there to pick me up and his parents welcomed me in a very good manner. And we were also remembering those good olden days. So, childhood friends, so I would like to talk about the same friend who was my first childhood friend. She was, the main thing that I liked about her was she was very intelligent even though she was a small child, she was good in lot of things whether it was singing or handcrafts or schoolwork, she always did her homework also. The mother was a teacher, so she was well behaved as well and whenever I, for example when I was sick or couldn't come to school, she would always help me, later on when I went back to school she would always share her notes with me and we would get together after school to play, so we always had a nice time and there were a group of other children as well but she was, both of us were very close to each other, so those were the very early memories that I have of this particular friend. So when it comes to ranks at school, like in the class she was, I remember she was always number one and I was always number two when it comes to her, so these are all the qualities that I liked about my very first childhood friend.
