    I like to taste different types of cuisine. Here I would like to talk about my favorite dish at my traditional festival of Onam which is Sadya. Sadya is popular in my city. We are experimenting these cuisines on Onam festival day. Onam is a famous festival in my city. All family members get together in my home and we make a delicious Sadya. There are many ingredients includes that Sadya. Moreover, we make a big feast that day as well as we create a lot of memories together and we wear that day the traditional dress called Sari and men wear the Dhotis. That festival is really important to us because the whole day we are conducting different kinds of games at our homes and all the family members came together. It's a memorable day in my life. This is the festival. We are making the Sambar and Aviyal. These all the kinds of foods are making with the vegetables.

    The toy which I liked in my childhood was a panda doll, which makes me pleasant and makes me more blush. The pandas are the most beautiful creatures of the world, which looks gigantic and has pooshy cheeks and they are like stars in the clouds and they dream in me. Furthermore, these have been given by my father. My father is a very very beautiful artistic person, who makes me think of that. Every day you will face every difficulties and make you suffer and move forward. Pandas are always seen in Japanese countries. It is my lifelong dream to visit a Japanese country and click a photo with the original pandas, which makes sounds better.

    As India is a very large country full of diversity, so there are many places which have their own language and speak their native language. The place which I visited and I didn't know about their language was Leladakh, which is about 300 km away from my hometown and it is a very good place as it consists of different kind of trees, animals and have many scenic views and I visited over there last year in summers as it was the best time to visit because it has many, it was cold over there and we had summers in our area so it was the best time to visit over there and I went over there with my whole family.

    When I was a kid, I had a little pencil box which had these four buttons which gave the pencil box an operative use. When you press the button, the box would open up. When you press the second button, a little part of it would slide out. Basically it was just a little electronical and a fun thing to have and I owned it when I was in 6th. One day after break, I was standing and talking there with one of my friends and another friend of mine was running through the hallway and accidentally she pushed my shoulder and my pencil box hit the ground and it broke into multiple pieces to the point that it was not functional anymore.

    It Ends With Us is a book I read recently. It's by the author Colleen Hoare. It's mainly a story about two teenagers, Atlas and Lily, and how they just handle their life going through high school, adolescence, and just domestic violence at home. Both of them come from very, very different families. However, they have one common determining factor between them, which is domestic violence. The abuse that they've seen their moms go through is just insane, and they connect through that on a different level. They're actually in the same high school, but they never speak to each other until Atlas actually crashes into an empty house next to Lily's villa. When Atlas is homeless and he doesn't have anywhere to go, he just comes and breaks into the house next to Lily's, and Lily helps him with all the daily necessities like clothes and food, medicines and stuff. Furthermore, their friendship blossoms into love, but it doesn't really fructify as Atlas has to leave. This book really gave me a lot of knowledge about domestic abuse and how to deal with it.

    My childhood friend's moniker is Arav Desai and I met him in the 5th grade of my school. It was the first day of 5th grade and all of us were very excited to go to new classrooms and meet new friends and I remember sitting on the 3rd bench and next to me Arav was seated as well. We exchanged our names and we started talking, trying to get to know each other better which is when we found out that we both loved football and we also loved the same team and the same player as well. I think that was the moment where we connected truly and then we couldn't just stop talking about it and our friendship really grew from there. Skip 15 years into the future, we're still very good friends and we still hang out almost every other day because now he's got his university and I've got mine and we have our own respective workloads but we always make time to enjoy, go out, have some fun, eat food etc.

    When I was in kindergarten, I met this friend, let's call her A, and we instantly bonded together and it was really good spending time with her. We had the best childhood memories and eventually, due to renting issues, I had to move out of that place and live somewhere else, which is why we lost contact. And I never thought that someday we would meet or even stay in touch. So after we lost touch, it was hard to reconnect. After a few years, I was heading for a class where I happened to meet the same girl who used to be my close friend and I thought it was impossible to bond again after so many years. But what surprised me was that she was still the same girl that she used to be and our friendship grew even more deeper than before. And this means that no matter what happens, I feel that if the bond is meant to be, that time will not change it, it will always remain the same and I'm really glad to have her as a friend.

    Well today I would like to talk about my childhood friend Akansha. I met her when I was around 6-7 years old when I had shifted to a neighborhood and she used to stay right in the next apartment. One of the reasons we initially became friends was because we had so many similar interests. Both of us were very tomboyish in nature. We used to like playing sports a lot rather than just sitting home and doing some indoor activities. Both of us used to love cycling which was a major reason for us to become friends initially. Every day after school whenever we used to meet we used to just take our cycles and then ride around in the societies. I don't remember a single day whenever I used to come after school not meeting her. I have been friends with her for almost 20 years now. I think one of the fact that we have always stayed close still and even after evolving and changing so much as people is my, that is why the reason I call her my best friend. Both of us have such different careers now and are on so many different paths in our life but we still try to catch up every time we get a chance. For example, whenever we come home for Diwali we still try to make up and get out some time for each other. Now that there are so many different things happening in each other's life and we have so much different opinions about so many topics, even though that we don't share similar interests anymore, we respect each other's opinion about certain topics. Even basic things like we are finally at the age of getting married but we have so different opinions about that but we still respect each other on that. And that is one of the reasons why I call her my best friend.

    One of the closest childhood friends that I recall having is my current best friend Pragya. I call her Pearly as the nickname I've given her. We know each other through our parents who have been friends since their childhood. So it was basically a family friend situation that we had. That's how we got to know each other from the very beginning and had the chance to visit each other and meet each other pretty frequently. And over the years, of course, I mean Pragya and I, we share so many common interests. We are practically the same people and which is why we have grown to be best friends as of today. And growing up, I think our relationship has evolved into a very beautiful one wherein we sort of, you know, have each other back. We support each other. We are there for each other whenever we need. So, I mean, it is one of those friendships where you find comfort, where you find peace. So with Pearly, I think I share that kind of a bond. Currently, she is pursuing medicine, so we do not get much time to talk frequently. Though we try to stay in touch as much as we can, try to check on each other, you know, do a FaceTime or a video call whenever it's feasible. You know how long distance friendships can be quite challenging at times, but we still find our way through and navigate our way through the same. And I am sure she is one of those friends who is on my emergency dial. Whatever happens, she is the first person I go to. And I think that is the beauty of childhood friendships, that it stays for you entire lifetime. So that's the beauty of it, I guess.

    Well, to be honest, I am an extrovert person and I love making new friends and spending time with them. Although I have lots of friends, but here I would like to talk about one of my awesome friends named Sumit. Sumit is my childhood friend and we know each other from last many years. Even when we were in school, we were considered inseparable. I vividly recall when I was in my second standard, I first talked to him during our painting competition. He helped me to give his color to paint my natural landscape painting. That time we made a friend and eventually our bond became more stronger by day. Nowadays he is working as a manager in Domino's and I am busy at my study and we hardly get time to meet, but on weekends we manage to meet.

    I have a friend named Fatima. She used to study at my school, International Indian School Riyadh and we met in class first. I don't actually remember how we became friends but that's the beauty of childhood friends. We don't exactly remember how we met, how we became friends but the whole journey of being friends is beautiful with each of the childhood friends. But when we grew up, now when I look at her, I see her differently. She's not the jolly kind of person now like she was in the childhood. She has changed. I think it's normal. I have also changed which I cannot realize and she realizes. But there's something strange about her. She has become quite different from what she was. Her attitude has changed. There's something called ego which I've started to see in her and I feel hurt.

    So, my childhood friend was a person I met when I was in school and her name is Maitrey. We met when we were taking admission together in our first year of primary education and this was in Chennai. She's a very sweet girl, she loves cats a lot and also she's now become a teacher in a primary school in Bangalore, that's in India. Apart from all of this, she is a very loyal person, she's been maintaining our childhood since so many years, it's been around 15 years right now and also she is a person who lives very close to the beach which is one of the reasons as to why I enjoy visiting her house back in Chennai. We have a lot of fun while going around and looking at various types of birds and animals that are in the beach since it's also nearby a forest and apart from all of this, she is a person who I would always depend upon as she is very, very trustworthy and is always there for you no matter what.

    I want to talk about my particular childhood friend Pratik. I have met him in my pre-school days i.e. LKG which we describe in Indian school terms i.e. Lower Kindergarten. The first time meeting him was in order to exchange a particular notebook which is as far as I can remember is particularly the Hindi notebook. So he is not from my neighborhood but I have met him in this school and we became great friends during play time or during lunch time. We used to chatter a lot and got scolded by our teachers a lot during the leisure time, during the play time and also during the classes. While growing up we were in the same school till 8th. Then I had to change my school and our relationship did not get reduced but the meeting frequency got very reduced. We used to meet once in a week or twice in a week during our school days but during our college time or during our graduate studies the span reduced from meeting once a week to meeting once in 6 or 8 months.

    Well, I had many childhood friends, until now I am continuing my friendship with them. But I remember one girl, one of my friends, when I first met when I was in my 6th standard. Previously I was in a different school from my 1st to 5th class, actually I finished my schooling in a different school which was far away from my home. Then my parents decided to admit, shift my studies to a school which was just 5 minutes away from our home. In that school I joined in the 6th standard. I was an introvert actually, so I didn't used to mingle with the people easily. So when it was my first day into the school in 6th standard, I was just looking at everyone with a blank face. So Safiya was the first friend who came to me and she was very frank and friendly kind of girl. When she came to me, she offered some snacks to me at our first meet and she asked me some basic questions regarding me, where I used to live and where I was previously, where I studied. From that day we became friends. Also I was sitting on her bench beside to her and daily we used to share our lunch. Also I started sharing all of my secrets with her and surprisingly till today.
