Cue 1:What activity it was?

  • Begin by clearly stating the activity you planned with a large group of people.
  • Provide some context about the significance of the activity, such as a festival, event, or gathering.

Example

The activity I planned was a community picnic for my neighborhood. We wanted to bring everyone together to enjoy a day of fun, food, and games, especially since we hadn’t had a gathering in a long time.

Cue 2:Why you took part in it?

  • Explain your motivation for organizing or participating in the activity.
  • Mention any personal connections or experiences that influenced your decision.

Example

I took part in organizing the picnic because I believe in fostering community spirit. I wanted to create an opportunity for neighbors to connect, especially after the pandemic when everyone felt isolated. I also have fond memories of similar picnics from my childhood, which inspired me to recreate that joy.

Cue 3:How it was organised?

  • Describe the steps you took to organize the activity, including planning and coordination.
  • Mention any challenges faced and how you overcame them.

Example

To organize the picnic, I first created a WhatsApp group to gather interested participants. One challenge was coordinating the food, but we managed by assigning specific dishes to families, ensuring a good variety.

Conclusion

    Example

In conclusion, the picnic turned out to be a great success. It brought together over fifty families, and everyone had a wonderful time. It reminded me of the importance of community and how simple gatherings can strengthen bonds among people.

When I was a kid, I had a little pencil box which had these four buttons which gave the pencil box an operative use. When you press the button, the box would open up. When you press the second button, a little part of it would slide out. Basically it was just a little electronical and a fun thing to have and I owned it when I was in 6th. One day after break, I was standing and talking there with one of my friends and another friend of mine was running through the hallway and accidentally she pushed my shoulder and my pencil box hit the ground and it broke into multiple pieces to the point that it was not functional anymore.

It Ends With Us is a book I read recently. It's by the author Colleen Hoare. It's mainly a story about two teenagers, Atlas and Lily, and how they just handle their life going through high school, adolescence, and just domestic violence at home. Both of them come from very, very different families. However, they have one common determining factor between them, which is domestic violence. The abuse that they've seen their moms go through is just insane, and they connect through that on a different level. They're actually in the same high school, but they never speak to each other until Atlas actually crashes into an empty house next to Lily's villa. When Atlas is homeless and he doesn't have anywhere to go, he just comes and breaks into the house next to Lily's, and Lily helps him with all the daily necessities like clothes and food, medicines and stuff. Furthermore, their friendship blossoms into love, but it doesn't really fructify as Atlas has to leave. This book really gave me a lot of knowledge about domestic abuse and how to deal with it.

I can clearly remember last month me and my fellow artist friends went out on a paint date. We went to an amusement park known as the Botanical Garden that is located on the bank of river with a beautiful scenic view being the perfect place for painting. We enjoyed a lot. We also had brought some snacks with us which added more to our date and became a cherry on cake. This painting date was such a fun hobby and we all organized it together. We did this hobby just because we all wanted to paint and we had the same passion for the hobby. Furthermore, a lot of us were sketching there and some of us were painting and some of us were doing self-portraits of each other and even I remember a friend of mine had kept a mirror in front of her and she was just painting herself. That was so immaculate and impressive. I was really amused by that thing. This paint date was self-organized by the fellow artists and me and it was so fruitful, so and extremely energetic and immaculate. It was such a great time being there with such great people exchanging ideas and thoughts and being there together for each other. It was such a nice experience and I would really want to go more on such paint dates.

Group activities not only help us to bring people together, but also create memorable experiences. There is one such exhilarating experience that I had with a lot of people. So during my final year of my college, I planned with my fellow classmates to prepare a proper farewell party for the college seniors, as a token of appreciation and gratitude, as well as good wishes for their future. Around 40 to 50 members, including seniors, juniors, and faculty members were a part of it. At first, I was the one who was responsible for organizing the committee, because it was too hectic task, so I passed it on to my best friend, who is more reliable. She divided the task carefully. Some people were responsible for managing the dance performances, while others handled lights, farewell speeches, anchoring, and food as well. So we were quite nervous when we were making preparations. On the day of the party, everything went according to the plan. So we prepared a lot of things for our seniors. We even prepared a group dance performance, as well as a skit, too. So all of it went well. The seniors got quite emotional when they saw the video montage. We decorated the hall with lights, photo booth, and balloons as well. So all in all, it was truly an unforgettable experience. Preparing it wasn't a piece of cake, but with teamwork and cooperation, everything went perfectly, and we were able to pull it off.

A time when I planned an activity with a lot of people that was a dance performance with my cousins. So, that was around two years back on my cousin's marriage function. I organized a dance performance by arranging all the family members and relatives for that performance. The performance was excellent and I arranged the sound system and also the choreography all by myself and I practiced with my cousins and we performed very well on that day. That was the most beautiful and memorable function that I ever conducted.

One memorable time I made a plan to do an activity with my large group of people was during my college farewell. I was a part of a student council and we decided to organize a surprise farewell party for our seniors. The activity involved arranging a full event with decorations, music, games and speeches and inviting nearly 150 students and teachers. I took part in it because I genuinely respected our seniors and wanted to give them a proper send off. Also, being in a council meant I was responsible for event planning, so I felt personally committed. We began by forming a small team, each in charge of specific tasks, for example, food, venue, stage set up, photography and inventions, also invitations. I was in charge of coordinating the stage activities including cultural performance, a slight show of memories and a thank you speech, which is more important. We planned everything a week in advance and even rehearsed the performances to make sure things run smoothly. In the end, the event went perfectly and the seniors were really touched. I felt proud of what we had achieved and as a team, achieved as a team and happy to be a part of something meaningful.

Well, the last time when I got to organize an activity was during the last month. It was on the occasion of the birthday of my teammate Velevan. So it was his 24th birthday and we wanted to celebrate it and the interesting part was we wanted to do this without his knowledge so that it becomes a surprise for him. So me and my friends ordered pizza and also a cake. We shared the expense amongst ourselves and we took Velevan to the pantry and we gathered all our teammates and finally it was really a memorable moment for him and not only for him but also for all of us and we enjoyed the delicacies together and we had a very good time. The interesting and the significant part was our team lead also took part in it which we never expected and he accepted our invitation and he found time to take part in the party in spite of his busy schedule. We took photographs and we also gave him gifts and it was really a relaxing and a refreshing moment for all of us and that's all about it.

I made a plan with a group of people from my college across different branches including engineering and liberal arts, we decided to go and trek in Kashmir specifically Gulmarg and Sonmarg. It happened last year in March when snow had surfaced and the weather was still enjoyable. It was around 0 to 10 degree Celsius at max and we really enjoyed it. We were in a group of 10 aged between 17 and 21. The trip was scheduled for 5 days and it was honestly the best experience of my life till this day. I and my 5 friends actually had more fun because we created multiple groups and then we went there alone. Gulmarg is known for its breathtaking views and dreamy landscapes. We clicked many pictures and videos while trekking on the amazing mountains.

Why did you do that? We are not interested in it. You know that and she told me you three are Very good in creativity and drawing that is why I just told the teacher your name but that is all after that the next day we went to the competition and It was a ground which is like maybe 20 acres And we started our work Two of us are in a same team and one of our friend is on the other team It was very ungraceful till we started it and After we start making the Rangoli My friend Yogesh Almost draw the outline alone and my me Colored it with help of him or some of our teammates and it was very very Enjoyable and I really loved that activity after we won the game we won the prize I literally thanked my friend To give our name to the teacher

So it was one time during my post graduate studies in college in Chennai during the third semester we had this soft skills class which really was a great place to share ideas and socialize with students from other departments so that particular day the in charge staff she made us divide into teams based on the departments so my class we are from chemistry department and they randomly selected a person to coordinate the whole class and they called my name and I was trying really hard to coordinate with my class because those people are a bundle of crack heads who will never cooperate in doing a single proper thing but that day she gave us a time limit of around 5 minutes to prepare which is particularly short but we managed to somehow complete it and during the first half of the 5 minutes all of my classmates were discussing in tiny tiny groups they never really cooperated together but then I lost my temper eventually and then I made them all stand in a straight line like how they do it in schools and they actually listened it was such a surprise to witness my classmates listening to instructions that too particularly from the student of the class so she asked us to practice depicting an advertisement

Recently, I had an opportunity to organize a program called Symphonia in my department. I am a student of language and linguistics, so it was very difficult for me to gather lots of people from different continent, different religion and region as well. They speak different languages, various cultures, but it was a success because there I learned a lot of things. I became poised and I learned to control things in a very complicated situations. And also teamwork means a lot of efforts, efforts not from one or two members, but as a whole team. So my teammates were very good, they supported me in every situation and we also invited delegates from China and Japan. They were here, we met them, talked about our cultures and they also shared their views regarding this. In addition to the program, we learned a lot of things, things like how to connect with people, how different cultures cooperate and also here we learned how language plays a key role in the communication in culture and in humanity.

    Band 6-7

In recent times, as I have grown up, I have observed that me and my friends, we are really busy with our careers and we are not getting time for each other to hang out and to play with my friends as when as opposed to when we were children. So I made up, I cooked up a plan which involved a board game. It is basically murder mystery case files called Who Killed Gagan. So it is basically a crime thriller murder mystery board game where you have to solve the case, you are the police detectives and you are given a series of clues and storyline which you follow and you crack the case. So I came across the advertisement of this board game in I think Instagram or Facebook and I was immediately drawn to this whole concept of having case files as a board game to bring people together. So I immediately went to the website and ordered it, they delivered it at my home, it cost me around I think 500 rupees and it can be played by up to 3 to 5 people. So you have to basically sit down, each of you is assigned a role, for example one of you is a police detective, one of you is a thief, one of you is the murderer and one of you is the witness and you have to interview each other, ask each other questions, examine the clues given and in the end you get to catch the murderer. So I plan to get my gang together this Sunday and wish me all the best.
