Cue 1:What activity it was?

  • Begin by clearly stating the activity you planned with a large group of people.
  • Provide some context about the significance of the activity, such as a festival, event, or gathering.

Example

The activity I planned was a community picnic for my neighborhood. We wanted to bring everyone together to enjoy a day of fun, food, and games, especially since we hadn’t had a gathering in a long time.

Cue 2:Why you took part in it?

  • Explain your motivation for organizing or participating in the activity.
  • Mention any personal connections or experiences that influenced your decision.

Example

I took part in organizing the picnic because I believe in fostering community spirit. I wanted to create an opportunity for neighbors to connect, especially after the pandemic when everyone felt isolated. I also have fond memories of similar picnics from my childhood, which inspired me to recreate that joy.

Cue 3:How it was organised?

  • Describe the steps you took to organize the activity, including planning and coordination.
  • Mention any challenges faced and how you overcame them.

Example

To organize the picnic, I first created a WhatsApp group to gather interested participants. One challenge was coordinating the food, but we managed by assigning specific dishes to families, ensuring a good variety.

Conclusion

    Example

In conclusion, the picnic turned out to be a great success. It brought together over fifty families, and everyone had a wonderful time. It reminded me of the importance of community and how simple gatherings can strengthen bonds among people.

When I was a kid, I had a little pencil box which had these four buttons which gave the pencil box an operative use. When you press the button, the box would open up. When you press the second button, a little part of it would slide out. Basically it was just a little electronical and a fun thing to have and I owned it when I was in 6th. One day after break, I was standing and talking there with one of my friends and another friend of mine was running through the hallway and accidentally she pushed my shoulder and my pencil box hit the ground and it broke into multiple pieces to the point that it was not functional anymore.

It Ends With Us is a book I read recently. It's by the author Colleen Hoare. It's mainly a story about two teenagers, Atlas and Lily, and how they just handle their life going through high school, adolescence, and just domestic violence at home. Both of them come from very, very different families. However, they have one common determining factor between them, which is domestic violence. The abuse that they've seen their moms go through is just insane, and they connect through that on a different level. They're actually in the same high school, but they never speak to each other until Atlas actually crashes into an empty house next to Lily's villa. When Atlas is homeless and he doesn't have anywhere to go, he just comes and breaks into the house next to Lily's, and Lily helps him with all the daily necessities like clothes and food, medicines and stuff. Furthermore, their friendship blossoms into love, but it doesn't really fructify as Atlas has to leave. This book really gave me a lot of knowledge about domestic abuse and how to deal with it.

I had this experience of making a reel with a group of my friends. There was a competition back in college where we were required to make a reel on COVID. The theme was COVID, how life changed before and after COVID. I'm not appreciating myself but I took part in it because I have this creative skill of making new ideas and creating a nice video and reel out of it. So I thought of taking part in it and my few friends agreed to it and then we formed a group. We planned to shoot the videos for the reel in a park. We decided to meet together in a park. We would discuss our ideas, our view, our perspectives and we will blend it into one main theme. So we all met at the park. There is a park near our college. It is named as Golghar Park. So we all met there. We discussed our ideas, shared our ideas, envisioned what our reel should look like and then we started to shoot. It was such an exhilarating and exhibit experience for all of us as we enjoyed a lot. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves plus we managed to make a good reel. To my surprise, we won the competition. We won the reel competition. So it was a very nice experience.

I went to the amusement park for my last birthday. I have planned this with my cousins. I was here for a year. So me and my cousins shared the same birthday. We together as a family went to amusement park in Kerala. We took a train in the early morning around 2 and reached the place just before its opening. As it is a special discount for birthday people, so it is easier for us to get a discount for 2 people and the other have paid. It's in a sudden plan. We planned it overnight and just executed the next day morning. We went to amusement park as we really enjoy adventure, me and my cousins. It's a group of 6 people. We went there. We had water sports and dry sports. It's not a peak time. So we were able to get on almost all the rides. It was a very good time over there. Once the time was over, after 6 we came out and we had to wait the train back. So it was around 8. So in the mean time we went to have dinner in a local place which sell beef, good beef and parotas and all. It's a Tamil dish. So we had all those things and we came, waited in the station. In the mean time we played cards and we had, we played cards and waiting for the time. We were so tired and the experience was really good and that was the best birthday I ever had.

We planned a trip in Manali and 4 friends participated in it. One is Rubika, Madhu, Alagesan and Nikith. The trip was completed on Jan 2025. The trip consists of 4 days. The first day we have to reach the airport and we have to board the flight. The flight is from Chennai to Delhi. At midnight we boarded the flight and at early morning we reached Delhi at around 7 or 8 am. After reaching Delhi, we visited spots like Taj Mahal, Akshardham Temple and Red Fort. After visiting Delhi, we had a plan to visit Chandigarh as well. We boarded a train and reached Chandigarh where we also visited a temple. After Chandigarh, at midnight we travelled to Manali which was around 3 to 4 hours of duration. After reaching Manali, the temperature was very cold like minus 4 or minus 5 degree Celsius. It was very unbearable for us. We were in a very uncomfortable state because of the climatic conditions. It was on day 3 when we reached Manali. Day 3 we visited few spots.

Well, to describe about a plan that I recently had with a lot of my friends, in the past years me and my friends were discussing about a plan that we will go out for a good picnic and where we would have a lot of activities. So recently I took an initiative in creating that activity. So there was a time on the month of March I happened to organize a program and firstly I searched for a spot in order to continue with the activity which we were planning. And when I visited the spot it was very much enormous and by seeing the spot I was very much happy and at first when we started to search for the talk about the spot it was very quite erratic because no one knows exactly and the reason I took initiative in it was I was very much creative in such activities since I've been creating all these activities during the past two to three years during my time in the church involvement. I've been a Sunday school teacher, I've been in a youth community where working with the people and I organized it in such a way that all of my friends could really enjoy it. I made a program where all of us participated and had a great time together and everyone was very much ecstatic. We also organized a potluck where all of us brought our meals and it was where we shared our own meal with one another and at the end we also have sports.

While there are many plans of mine that didn't end up completing, however, there was one plan that I vividly remember that was the best plan that I had ever made. It was a trekking plan to Pavana Lake, Lunapala. Me and my friends from college had decided to go on a trekking trip for a day to the deep valleys of Lunapala into the Pavana Lake. We organized a bus and requested the bus driver to take us very slow during the road so that we could enjoy the landscapes throughout the valleys of Lunapala. Reaching the destination, we spent a lot of time playing games and also explored the beautiful sceneries and landscapes that the Pavana Lake had to offer. At night we sat, we made bonfire and we enjoyed delicious food in company of my college friends. It was truly a blissful experience and made me realize that it was an experience that I would never forget in my life. Trekking made me realize that having friends whom you can go on trips with is equally important as the academic part of it.

Recently, I had an opportunity to organize a hospital day with my other staffs of the hospital recently. The hospital day had many events organized such as solo dance, solo singing as well as some pop-up shows. I had 7 committees to help the hospital day function. Each committee had its own responsibilities to cover up and they managed the work well. It was a huge success. After completing the hospital day, we had an appreciation from our medical superintendent which motivated us a lot.

Recently, we planned a trip to Rishikesh with six girls. It was a random thought that occurred to our mind that we need to go on a trip after our graduation. The trip was organized by me as I did all the bookings, I booked the hotels, the rides and all the leisure activities that were to be done over there. We did a lot of activities, fun leisure activities like river rafting, paragliding, we did the river rafting as it was the most adventurous sports over there. The water was too cold to even touch but anyway we did the river rafting. My sister who is very young than me also joined us and she said it was the best experience of her life. We went to Rishikesh from Chandigarh and then came back to Chandigarh and then went to Shimla. So it was a hectic week but it was all worth it because we got to see a lot of things over there. We also rode on Activa over there and saw all the mountain sides and we could feel the fresh mountain air touching our faces while we were riding the Activas.
