When I was a kid, I had a little pencil box which had these four buttons which gave the pencil box an operative use. When you press the button, the box would open up. When you press the second button, a little part of it would slide out. Basically it was just a little electronical and a fun thing to have and I owned it when I was in 6th. One day after break, I was standing and talking there with one of my friends and another friend of mine was running through the hallway and accidentally she pushed my shoulder and my pencil box hit the ground and it broke into multiple pieces to the point that it was not functional anymore.

It Ends With Us is a book I read recently. It's by the author Colleen Hoare. It's mainly a story about two teenagers, Atlas and Lily, and how they just handle their life going through high school, adolescence, and just domestic violence at home. Both of them come from very, very different families. However, they have one common determining factor between them, which is domestic violence. The abuse that they've seen their moms go through is just insane, and they connect through that on a different level. They're actually in the same high school, but they never speak to each other until Atlas actually crashes into an empty house next to Lily's villa. When Atlas is homeless and he doesn't have anywhere to go, he just comes and breaks into the house next to Lily's, and Lily helps him with all the daily necessities like clothes and food, medicines and stuff. Furthermore, their friendship blossoms into love, but it doesn't really fructify as Atlas has to leave. This book really gave me a lot of knowledge about domestic abuse and how to deal with it.

I would really love to talk about this topic because I love cricket, I love watching cricket. I unfortunately don't play cricket but I have been watching it since I was a kid. I was around 11 years old when I first witnessed the adrenaline while watching this game on TV. It was the 2011 World Cup. I was witnessing a live broadcast at 11 in the night when Dhoni, a former captain of India, hit sixes and finished off the match beating Sri Lanka and thus lifting the World Cup. From there on, it's been a long journey with this sport. I feel alive, I feel happy, my mood instantly brightens up every time I watch this sport. Even if there are no live matches going on, I usually prefer watching highlights to brighten up my day. The most recent incident was on June 3rd when my most favourite franchise, the Royal Challengers Bangalore, won a trophy for the first time in the history of IPL after 18 long years of wait. My favourite player Virat Kohli, who was a former captain of RCB, had tears in his eyes and so did all of us. All the millions of people in Bangalore and all over India were awestruck and overwhelmed with joy. Every time I see Instagram Reels of that day, it just makes me feel abundant.

The sport I really like is Formula One. Many people do not consider F1 as a sport. It is a very underrated sport but I personally love it because it's just that it's unlike all the other sports. It is not, you know, you're involving physically fighting someone or you just, you know, facing someone. It is rather 20 drivers on a single track running, you know, their cars running for around 54 rounds. That is just crazy. I have loved F1 since I can remember I was probably six or seven years old when I first saw my first race. It was probably because of my older brothers. They are really into F1 and they got me into it as well. My favourite driver in F1 is Lewis Hamilton. He recently changed his team from Mercedes to Ferrari. I have always dreamed of, you know, going and seeing a race for real and I hope that actually comes soon and because of me watching F1 I used to go karting every month as I can. It's just amazing.

I am Rohan Choudhury and I live in Haridwar district of Uttarakhand. Cricket is not so popular in this state. I like cricket very much. It is my favorite hobby. When I was a child, I used to go alongside with my father and his friends. They used to play cricket and I used to watch them. Since then, cricket has become my passion. My favorite cricketer is Mahendra Singh Dhoni. He is known for his cool and collective nature. He is a right-hand batsman and a wicket-keeper. He captained India for 10 years and won three ICC trophies. He is a true inspiration to me to follow cricket. He is a good human being whether in or outside the ground. Although being so senior, he never argues or disrespects his younger players. He has been playing cricket since 20 years and there is no controversy in which he has been found guilty. I want to become a cricketer and play for India like Mahendra Singh Dhoni did. And I want to win matches for India. I am an all-rounder.

So, I've been grew up watching football since my childhood, as all of my family members are into football, so I am really attached to it since my childhood. And when I was a child, I grew up watching Lionel Messi, he is an amazing player by himself and also he is a good person as a human being because 50% of his income that he earns by playing football, he donates to charity. So that inspires me more and attracted me more towards football. And even though I don't get that much of spare time in my daily schedule, but in my weekend I go to play football with my friends and as the population is growing up magnificently, so it's hard to find a spot to play with your friends, so we have to hire a tarp, you can hire a tarp hourly, so that's how we contribute our money to hire a tarp and by that thing we play football. The thing that attracts me most towards football is the teamwork, like it's a team game, you can't win alone by yourself, you have to be cooperative with your team members and you have to feel the connection between your teammates, so that's how you can build a magnificent play style and that attracts me the most. So those are the things, that's why I prefer playing or watching football rather than any other sports, but besides this I love to watch cricket, because as a Bengali, our Bangladeshi cricket team is one of the most top tier cricket teams in the world, so those are the sports that I...

I really like the badminton. It is a stunning sport to do every day in our home and it's less expensive. We can't go to anywhere else for playing it. I have a badminton court in my home. So I play it with my neighbor and also try to engage in every day because it's a exercise too. We get fit every day for playing badminton. So actually I like to play badminton in the evening. The sun goes and the atmosphere is too much helpful for us. Without any sweating, in a cool breeze time in the evening. So the badminton is a most powerful play and an exercise to fit strong and get healthy by playing this every day. I actually like to play with my family too. My kids also join with me at the evening. It's a beautiful sport and I can't imagine the play without any single day. And also I try to find some time for in the toughest day also because I can't avoid the play in a single day. It helps me to recover the stress in the day and also get peace from that playing.

The sport that I enjoy the most would be basketball. I used to play it during my school time and if I'm being really honest I have never till date watched a single basketball match. I just enjoy playing it. During my time in school particularly middle school I took up the sport as a part of the extracurricular for which we had to stay for extra hours after the regular school hours which was the most satisfying and most joyous part of my day and I would change my regular school uniform to a sports uniform and run in the basketball field with the ball and chatting with my friends and having the time of my life basically which made it really special and it acted as a very refreshing activity for me and it relaxed me from the daily stress. What made it really special to me is because once I was selected for an intra-school competition cum event where the school where the children were divided into four houses and we had to compete amongst each other and I represented the basketball team for my particular house and we practiced a lot and extra hours apart from the sports hours and after very tiring and

The sport that I really like to watch is cricket. I like to watch cricket from a very long years back. I started watching with my uncle. He used to watch every match, T20, Test matches, ODI matches, everything. So during dinner time he will not allow us to change the channels. So with him I started watching cricket. That was my initial stage. I didn't understand anything, the rule, nothing. I just watched because he was watching. So I started watching. After sometime I also started getting that craze of watching cricket. The audacity of the game is more and I like the players in our Indian cricket team. My favorite cricket player is Virat Kohli. I like him the most because I started watching his play from my 8th standard long years back. Till now I feel happy when he walks into the field and bats. I will insanely cry when he hits a half century or century. But now in recent time he has announced his retirement. So I am gradually decreasing my craze towards cricket. Now I understood that I liked Virat Kohli more than the game cricket itself.

One of my favorite sport is basketball. I discovered basketball when I was 8 years old and I have been going to classes since I was 10. It's a really special sport for me because that's where I made my first friend. One of the incident which is very memorable to me is what happened in the basketball court. So one of my friends and me were playing together. So each group has a set of five people and you have to bounce the ball and pass it and put it through the hoop. So I scored three hoops continuously. So I was the shooter of the game and that's when my friend approached me and she said that I was really great and it's a really good thing that happened to me because she's my best friend now. The reason why I love basketball is because it's so calming and it's really nice to play when you're stressed. That is what I do when I have leisure time. I've played basketball with so many people and it's a really good sport for to increase your height or health.
