When I was a kid, I had a little pencil box which had these four buttons which gave the pencil box an operative use. When you press the button, the box would open up. When you press the second button, a little part of it would slide out. Basically it was just a little electronical and a fun thing to have and I owned it when I was in 6th. One day after break, I was standing and talking there with one of my friends and another friend of mine was running through the hallway and accidentally she pushed my shoulder and my pencil box hit the ground and it broke into multiple pieces to the point that it was not functional anymore.

It Ends With Us is a book I read recently. It's by the author Colleen Hoare. It's mainly a story about two teenagers, Atlas and Lily, and how they just handle their life going through high school, adolescence, and just domestic violence at home. Both of them come from very, very different families. However, they have one common determining factor between them, which is domestic violence. The abuse that they've seen their moms go through is just insane, and they connect through that on a different level. They're actually in the same high school, but they never speak to each other until Atlas actually crashes into an empty house next to Lily's villa. When Atlas is homeless and he doesn't have anywhere to go, he just comes and breaks into the house next to Lily's, and Lily helps him with all the daily necessities like clothes and food, medicines and stuff. Furthermore, their friendship blossoms into love, but it doesn't really fructify as Atlas has to leave. This book really gave me a lot of knowledge about domestic abuse and how to deal with it.

A place I visited and enjoyed in the countryside is a hill station named Matheran in Mumbai, in Maharashtra. So that place is, as soon as I remember that place, it gives me full of memories. That place is situated in Maharashtra. That is a hill station, as I mentioned earlier, no vehicles are allowed to go up in the hill. So we have to either walk up the hill or we have to take a toy tree or we have to ride through by a horse. So we preferred to walk because we went there with family and we had this quality time walking up the hill. And after reaching above the hill, there were so many spots, sunset spot, sunrise spot, there were so many adventurous activities there. So overall I enjoyed the whole trip and even now whenever I think of that hill station, it gives me so pleasant vibe.

There is a place called Rantli in Odisha, India. I visited this place because of my grandfather's death. I was sad about my grandfather's death but I really enjoyed my time there because I used to travel or visit the temples, the dam, many places. I used to walk, go for a walk in the evening with my siblings, friends. We had a great time together. I wanted to go to a fair but the fair is in April and I visited there in January so it was not possible for me because I had to move away again. But I visited that place when it was empty. I enjoyed the fact that we came together again. My whole family was together. We prayed and ate together.

I visited Silom which is situated in Meghalaya almost 10 years back. I went there with my family. The place is so beautiful and calming. I was a kid at that time. So I don't have much memory of it. But I would love to visit it again in future. But I can see the weather, the people, the food, everything was so awesome. I enjoyed there so much. I was I guess 10 years older at that time. The water there is so clean and fresh and cold. I love cold water.

Well, I'm a sort of person who always lived in a city because my parents are from a countryside area but they shifted to town so it was quite not good for me because I always wanted to live in a countryside because I really like all the things out there because it gives you a pleasant vibe and it's all quite not crowded like a city. And to be very honest, I went to the countryside when I was in class 5th and it was not my parents' hometown or something. It was a place in Meghalaya and we had a trip there and we lived there for many days, around 10 days and we did a lot of things out there. We went to river boating because the village had a big river and we did a lot of river boating and mountain hiking because Meghalaya is situated in a mountain area near Himalayas. So we did hiking and also bungee jumping. I don't remember because I was in class 5th and I went with my parents and I lived in a house which was in a farmland so there was various farming and I got to know about most of the farming which I had never seen in my life because in cities it do not provide. And the weather, it was so pleasant that I really liked it. However, I enjoyed one thing which was, I actually don't remember right now. It was about the weather. I really enjoyed whole weather.

During my recent semester vacations, I had been to UAE, which is in the Middle East. I had specifically been to Abu Dhabi, which is the capital city of UAE. I went there to spend, I had gone there to spend time with my father. What I really liked the most about Abu Dhabi would be the architecture of every building, every mall, the way, you know, they've been located at certain regions. The other thing would be the water parks. We have the Yass Water World, which is famous for its rides. We have the Yass Marina Circuit, where most of the Formula One races happen. And then we have the world's fastest roller coaster, which is in Ferrari World. So I had been there. I had a thrilling experience. I enjoyed time with my family. The other thing I really love about this place is the food. I am genuinely in love with Arabic food because of the spices, the way they cook it. They use the tandoor specifically for the kuboos or the alfahm. They don't use a lot of oil. They add in their own homemade spices. My favorite food would be shawarma. And about the place, I would say it's very safe. People know the rules and regulations. There are heavy fines if you, you know, don't follow them properly. And everyone's very cooperative, they're very patient, they're very kind. So yeah.

The place I visited specifically in the countryside was my home town, my village, that is in Haryana, near Safeddo, and is denoted as Hath, Hath village. In that we have a temple which have a spiritual significance and my family every month visit there and whenever I am home for vacations, I also visit that temple. So that is in the countryside and that was the recent place I had visited there. What mostly attracts me is the calmness there and the greenery, the gardens and the rivers flowed there. So that is the most attracting part. I went there first, we had to do darshan, we had to visit the temple and some of the relatives who live there. And we don't have a home there so it was kind of a long ride there. We drive in the night, drive in the day, it takes around 6-7 hours to reach there. I specifically enjoyed it because it was a very beautiful ride. I am learning driving so I drived the car for around 2-3 hours. That was also a very enjoyable moment for me. But besides that I would like to add a place that is not a countryside but I enjoyed visiting because it was so calm and peaceful, that was Varanasi. The gardens there, that is the best experience I ever had and enjoyed being there. For the countryside, I would definitely choose my village because it was the best experience with my family especially.

Recently, I had been to Shimla, which is in Himachal Pradesh. It's a very beautiful place and so much greenery everywhere. The people are also very polite and humble. They help us in every little situation, etc. They are the ones who give us directions on which places should be visited in Shimla or which not. For instance, we want to go to the Lai Lama Hills, but they said that it is not the correct time to visit the Lai Lama Hills because there might be a fear of tyrants on there. So, we cancelled our plan and then we visited the Himachal Pradesh of Chanai Chana Palace, which is a very beautiful place. The snow was there.

So, the place I went to, the countryside I went to is Kerala Munnar, I would love to talk about it. It's a beautiful place. We went there last February with my family for our yearly family trip. Everybody was there, it was really fun. Because I come from a city, Kolkata, and it's really polluted and you don't get to see much of greenery, but Munnar was really, really green and surrounded by hills and fresh air. So, it's a really getaway place to probably go for a stressful...
