When I was a kid, I had a little pencil box which had these four buttons which gave the pencil box an operative use. When you press the button, the box would open up. When you press the second button, a little part of it would slide out. Basically it was just a little electronical and a fun thing to have and I owned it when I was in 6th. One day after break, I was standing and talking there with one of my friends and another friend of mine was running through the hallway and accidentally she pushed my shoulder and my pencil box hit the ground and it broke into multiple pieces to the point that it was not functional anymore.

It Ends With Us is a book I read recently. It's by the author Colleen Hoare. It's mainly a story about two teenagers, Atlas and Lily, and how they just handle their life going through high school, adolescence, and just domestic violence at home. Both of them come from very, very different families. However, they have one common determining factor between them, which is domestic violence. The abuse that they've seen their moms go through is just insane, and they connect through that on a different level. They're actually in the same high school, but they never speak to each other until Atlas actually crashes into an empty house next to Lily's villa. When Atlas is homeless and he doesn't have anywhere to go, he just comes and breaks into the house next to Lily's, and Lily helps him with all the daily necessities like clothes and food, medicines and stuff. Furthermore, their friendship blossoms into love, but it doesn't really fructify as Atlas has to leave. This book really gave me a lot of knowledge about domestic abuse and how to deal with it.

Well, I'm a sort of person who always lived in a city because my parents are from a countryside area but they shifted to town so it was quite not good for me because I always wanted to live in a countryside because I really like all the things out there because it gives you a pleasant vibe and it's all quite not crowded like a city. And to be very honest, I went to the countryside when I was in class 5th and it was not my parents' hometown or something. It was a place in Meghalaya and we had a trip there and we lived there for many days, around 10 days and we did a lot of things out there. We went to river boating because the village had a big river and we did a lot of river boating and mountain hiking because Meghalaya is situated in a mountain area near Himalayas. So we did hiking and also bungee jumping. I don't remember because I was in class 5th and I went with my parents and I lived in a house which was in a farmland so there was various farming and I got to know about most of the farming which I had never seen in my life because in cities it do not provide. And the weather, it was so pleasant that I really liked it. However, I enjoyed one thing which was, I actually don't remember right now. It was about the weather. I really enjoyed whole weather.

During my recent semester vacations, I had been to UAE, which is in the Middle East. I had specifically been to Abu Dhabi, which is the capital city of UAE. I went there to spend, I had gone there to spend time with my father. What I really liked the most about Abu Dhabi would be the architecture of every building, every mall, the way, you know, they've been located at certain regions. The other thing would be the water parks. We have the Yass Water World, which is famous for its rides. We have the Yass Marina Circuit, where most of the Formula One races happen. And then we have the world's fastest roller coaster, which is in Ferrari World. So I had been there. I had a thrilling experience. I enjoyed time with my family. The other thing I really love about this place is the food. I am genuinely in love with Arabic food because of the spices, the way they cook it. They use the tandoor specifically for the kuboos or the alfahm. They don't use a lot of oil. They add in their own homemade spices. My favorite food would be shawarma. And about the place, I would say it's very safe. People know the rules and regulations. There are heavy fines if you, you know, don't follow them properly. And everyone's very cooperative, they're very patient, they're very kind. So yeah.

The place I visited specifically in the countryside was my home town, my village, that is in Haryana, near Safeddo, and is denoted as Hath, Hath village. In that we have a temple which have a spiritual significance and my family every month visit there and whenever I am home for vacations, I also visit that temple. So that is in the countryside and that was the recent place I had visited there. What mostly attracts me is the calmness there and the greenery, the gardens and the rivers flowed there. So that is the most attracting part. I went there first, we had to do darshan, we had to visit the temple and some of the relatives who live there. And we don't have a home there so it was kind of a long ride there. We drive in the night, drive in the day, it takes around 6-7 hours to reach there. I specifically enjoyed it because it was a very beautiful ride. I am learning driving so I drived the car for around 2-3 hours. That was also a very enjoyable moment for me. But besides that I would like to add a place that is not a countryside but I enjoyed visiting because it was so calm and peaceful, that was Varanasi. The gardens there, that is the best experience I ever had and enjoyed being there. For the countryside, I would definitely choose my village because it was the best experience with my family especially.

Recently, I had been to Shimla, which is in Himachal Pradesh. It's a very beautiful place and so much greenery everywhere. The people are also very polite and humble. They help us in every little situation, etc. They are the ones who give us directions on which places should be visited in Shimla or which not. For instance, we want to go to the Lai Lama Hills, but they said that it is not the correct time to visit the Lai Lama Hills because there might be a fear of tyrants on there. So, we cancelled our plan and then we visited the Himachal Pradesh of Chanai Chana Palace, which is a very beautiful place. The snow was there.

So, the place I went to, the countryside I went to is Kerala Munnar, I would love to talk about it. It's a beautiful place. We went there last February with my family for our yearly family trip. Everybody was there, it was really fun. Because I come from a city, Kolkata, and it's really polluted and you don't get to see much of greenery, but Munnar was really, really green and surrounded by hills and fresh air. So, it's a really getaway place to probably go for a stressful...

Indeed, I visited a beautiful place that is McLeodganj which is situated in the Himachal Pradesh. This place is amazing to visit. I just love the cozy weather in the Himachal Pradesh, the mountains and hills and all the supermarkets are situated in that place. I usually like to visit this place most of the times in our summer vacations and I mainly love the Tibetans over there, the temple and their spirituality towards the culture amazed me. I always wanted to live there because of good weather, amazing facilities and better environment to live.

There is this place in Himachal Pradesh, it's a small village called Grahan. So this village is located at an altitude of around 3500 meters above the sea level. And we had to do a short trek with a jeep ride to reach this place. So when I was told about this place, I really didn't want to visit it because it involved a trek and a jeep ride and almost one hour on bumpy roads. So I was skeptical about going there. But once I reached there, I got a different view of the world because I met people there who were devoid of any internet interaction. I was so shocked to hear that these people did not have internet, did not have access to signal networks and electronic gadgets and everything. They just lived in small hamlets and they just used to interact with each other. They created a community where they could express what we are expressing through social media. And there is one particular cafe where you could get Wi-Fi and only few people, especially the tourists reach that cafe and they use the Wi-Fi. But the villagers did not have the urge to even look at their phones or even like they do not have a phone in the first place. But it was really refreshing to see that kind of society still exists. At the same time, they did not have any opportunity for growth and education. So I just thought we were just lucky to be born in a different place of the world where everything is accessible to us. The accessibility was less but I think

The reason visit to a country side would be my abrupt trip to Zanzibar which is a small island in Tanzania which is in Africa. I visited this country in May. It was a trip which lasted for a week and it was so sudden that we didn't even get to pack or plan the trip properly. We planned this whole trip in 48 hours and we left the country as we did not require any visa or any other documentation. So the main factor was the snorkeling and other swimming activities which were available. It was a wide variety of water activities and water sports which was offered by the island along with that there is another side which is the jungle safari or the treks. So if a person is interested in swimming or in climbing mountains this island can offer both. What I enjoyed the most was the sudden planning and this kept an element of surprise within because we did not have enough time to research upon what the island actually had to offer. Apart from all this there was also a wide variety of local food that we got to experience and have. The local people were also extremely friendly and invited us home and let us try their homemade meals and let us pluck the mangoes in their backyard which we got to eat and enjoy with them.

So I took a visit last year in the summer to Bali, I took that trip on a solo backpacking purpose only. I went around there not knowing what to expect, just to meet a bunch of strangers and explore the city all in all. I spent almost over a week there with those strangers, partying across different beach clubs, bars and pubs, staying in hostels, also trying out different water sports and activities. I particularly enjoyed going through the rafting experience through the coursing waters and the stream of river. Particularly we also spent some time going through exploring the local food cuisines, we particularly like to call it as a food excursion because the food that the country of Indonesia has offered lies closely to what we have in India, kind of like an Asian cuisine. However, I would say the most daunting experience for us would have been when we went out on our own for a walk, trying to find out food in the midnight although it did not turn out well because we ended up having way too many drinks and could not find our way home back. Also we did spend some time in shopping and buying some souvenirs for ourselves on our way back home. That was a very exhilarating experience, getting in touch with locals, trying to understand their culture. I enjoyed this trip because it was completely new to me, it offered uncertainties and the thrill of not knowing what's going to happen tomorrow, what would happen in the next second, who am I going to go on the trip with was exhilarating for me.

So, I remember going to the Darjeeling, which is situated in Himachal Pradesh. I went there in 2024 with my family members and my Maasi, which is my family too. But I enjoyed there a lot because I went there with my cousins, who are very funny and very creative. We enjoyed a lot. We went to different places like Khajiyar, where we did bungee jumping. And it makes videos and clicks amazing, amazing photos. I remember going to the place where we did the trekking to the top height up to, I don't know the exact height. But I remember that we enjoyed a lot. My mom and my Maasi cannot climb up to the mountain, but we all cousins plus my elder uncle also went with us. So, we did a lot of fun. And it is fun because that was the first or the second trip of my life. And I enjoyed travelling a lot to different, different places and different, different countries.
