When I was a kid, I had a little pencil box which had these four buttons which gave the pencil box an operative use. When you press the button, the box would open up. When you press the second button, a little part of it would slide out. Basically it was just a little electronical and a fun thing to have and I owned it when I was in 6th. One day after break, I was standing and talking there with one of my friends and another friend of mine was running through the hallway and accidentally she pushed my shoulder and my pencil box hit the ground and it broke into multiple pieces to the point that it was not functional anymore.

It Ends With Us is a book I read recently. It's by the author Colleen Hoare. It's mainly a story about two teenagers, Atlas and Lily, and how they just handle their life going through high school, adolescence, and just domestic violence at home. Both of them come from very, very different families. However, they have one common determining factor between them, which is domestic violence. The abuse that they've seen their moms go through is just insane, and they connect through that on a different level. They're actually in the same high school, but they never speak to each other until Atlas actually crashes into an empty house next to Lily's villa. When Atlas is homeless and he doesn't have anywhere to go, he just comes and breaks into the house next to Lily's, and Lily helps him with all the daily necessities like clothes and food, medicines and stuff. Furthermore, their friendship blossoms into love, but it doesn't really fructify as Atlas has to leave. This book really gave me a lot of knowledge about domestic abuse and how to deal with it.

So, one of the experiences that I would like to share being a team member would be these projects that I had when I was in college doing architecture. So, it was our 7th semester where we had urban design as a design project and as a part of case study we were supposed to report, we were supposed to make a combined report for KR market in Bangalore. It was a market set up and we were divided into different groups and were divided across the market area and I was mainly reporting the main market with the flour and fruits market. So, we were a team of 8 members and we had to go to every single street of the market and take measurements and pictures as a part of a case study and understand the type of buildings, the type of roads there are, the width of the roads, the type of markets, the type of people come there and the number of people come there and so on. So, this complete exercise helped us to analyze the market, the type of people visiting the markets and the architectural needs of a certain market. When we came back we had to work together on putting up the things that we collected as a team. We had a lot of pictures and sorting and segregating took quite some time. As a part of the final output we had 10 sheets and a model that we made. Since we were divided into different teams we had to make a physical model of just the market area that we studied. So this whole process helped us work together.

During my college days, I had an experience of being a member of a football team. Usually, football team comprises of 11 players in the field and 7 members will be in the substitution list. I always used to be in the starting 11 and I was in the position of attacking i.e. I will play as a forward player in my team. Most probably, I will shoot and score a goal because I lead a team as an attacker. Our starting 11 consists of 4 defenders, 2 midfielders, 1 goalkeeper and 4 attacking players including me. I used to play in the left wing of the attacking position. We were a team and I felt overwhelming to be a part of the college team. We held a lot of trophies.

I have the pleasure to talk about an experience that I had as a member of a team. What comes to my mind is that once I was selected during class 12th for like a membership which was actually run So today I have a pleasure to talk about an experience I had as a member of a team. So I would like to make myself go back to the days So today I have a pleasure to talk about an experience I had as a member of a team. What comes to my mind first by hearing these terms are the time when I got selected as a member of a student council. It was during the days when I was in class 12th when our schools usually used to organize some competition so that they can actually choose students who are capable and competitive enough to be leaders and to guide other students well. So I opted and just went for it and I gave the interview and I got selected. The day when the results were announced I was very happy. I was on the moon over the moon but afterwards I realized that it was not going to be easy. The members of my team were not at all supportive as well as collaborative. They actually saw each other as a competition which actually give rise to a lot of toxicity as well as not a healthy environment to live

While I was working at a call center, I had an opportunity to work with a team. This team comprised of 10 members and each and every member was unique and different from each other in that team. So each member of that team brought something new to the table which made us improve and progress as a team and do better for our company. So one of the members of that team was an MBA graduate, another was a sales rep, sales representative, one also was a fashion designer, while the other was a student who had just completed his post-graduation. So there were multiple people in this team, each and every one important and each and every one worked towards their specific goal. Together we got an output that helped not only our team but also other teams to learn from it. So the learnings that we got as a team and the bond that we had is something that I will cherish throughout my life. One of the things that I have learned from this team is that how people of different beliefs can come together and make something that seems nearly impossible, possible. So furthermore, if I have to add something, this team also is open to many things. They are open to opinions and open to suggestions. Some things, something that is not, I believe, relevant or people don't seem that it can be relevant, but suggestions, feedbacks and

Actually, the team is a handball team at Yarmouk Club in Kuwait. I was a handball player, so this work, it's like sport work, but this work is collaborative because we were about six players in the team and we were friends. So, when we do this, we have like maps that we explain on how the team will work, how the work will be divided into each one. Each one should know his responsibility and his role in the team. So, in the handball, we have like a goalkeeper and we have two wings, two backs, and one on the centers and one on the back. So, this team working, we decide who plays as a defense and who plays as an attack against the other team that we play with. So, actually, the coach, he decided which one is the best map or decision to do on the match. After he decided, before the match day, we test the decision that the coach takes and we notice what is the missing issues in these decisions.

I am a member of the team. It happened around 10 years back. That time I was reading as a first year B.D. student. My first mission was to be a class coordinator. So our professor gave us two topics for taking lecture for local people about health education and oral hygiene. That time we were assigned 8 members in each team. Me, my friend Shail, Shravani, Yasmin, Arpita, Joanna are all included in that team. Each and everyone got a separate topic, which are things to do in the public, which are things we are, one is assigned to distribute pamphlets, one is taking care of the whole gathered there. That was really amazing. I felt that we had a good job, well coordination. During that time, it happened, we took around 30 minutes for that event. We conducted in Vedaya Palam in Gundur district. Around 150 people reached there to hear our health education. During that time, first we felt little bit nervous. After starting the health education, we involved each and every person to our talk. Then after that it become very funny and it's very informative.

During my college days, I was a 4th member of a team, where we were doing projects regarding the fetal health. The team members were my close friends like Pratish, Kunal and Pravin. There was a lot of ups and downs. We used to fight like anything. We used to fight like we were warriors. But at the end of the day, we improved a lot of things. I have improved my communication skills. I get to know new concepts like how fetal health works, what are the three semesters we will be having, what are the conditions of the heartbeat of a fetal. I got a lot of practical experience regarding fetal health. After that, I have entered into my final project about left ventricle and myopia.

Recently, I have helped one team in my working place to supervise the field crop which was sowing in the field and the crop was cotton. There were total seven people including me. We were working tirelessly in the quenching sun with no shade on us and the temperature on that particular day was 37 degree Celsius. We were working continuously from like 7 to 2 p.m. in the afternoon and we all got very tired. Basically, the work was we had to supervise the labors which were sowing cotton seeds and we had to see if they are doing their work correctly or not. We had to guide them where to plant the seeds and where to put the markers, the white marker which is white in color, so that we can all do their work correctly and after doing that we gave them a little treat of cold drink and a little cooler after working in the quenching sunlight. They all get tired and after that they took a rest of 30 minutes and after that they started working again and I was glad that I supervised them because I got to know about so many things on that particular day that how tirelessly these field labors work and it is very tough for them to work on this hot summery day. So basically after that experience I got a respect for them and I would love to have experience in my future days.
