When I was a kid, I had a little pencil box which had these four buttons which gave the pencil box an operative use. When you press the button, the box would open up. When you press the second button, a little part of it would slide out. Basically it was just a little electronical and a fun thing to have and I owned it when I was in 6th. One day after break, I was standing and talking there with one of my friends and another friend of mine was running through the hallway and accidentally she pushed my shoulder and my pencil box hit the ground and it broke into multiple pieces to the point that it was not functional anymore.

It Ends With Us is a book I read recently. It's by the author Colleen Hoare. It's mainly a story about two teenagers, Atlas and Lily, and how they just handle their life going through high school, adolescence, and just domestic violence at home. Both of them come from very, very different families. However, they have one common determining factor between them, which is domestic violence. The abuse that they've seen their moms go through is just insane, and they connect through that on a different level. They're actually in the same high school, but they never speak to each other until Atlas actually crashes into an empty house next to Lily's villa. When Atlas is homeless and he doesn't have anywhere to go, he just comes and breaks into the house next to Lily's, and Lily helps him with all the daily necessities like clothes and food, medicines and stuff. Furthermore, their friendship blossoms into love, but it doesn't really fructify as Atlas has to leave. This book really gave me a lot of knowledge about domestic abuse and how to deal with it.

I would like to describe a park near the Godavari river that I visited. The park is located right along the bank, river bank and it offers a very peaceful atmosphere. From the park, you got a beautiful view of the Godavari river, especially in the evenings that when the sun sets and the water reflects the shade of orange and gold, the park itself is well maintained and have walking paths and where people can walk and in that some places they can even do yoga and the children play in the open spaces. You can also see that the people are coming to here very regularly because of this peaceful calmness atmosphere. What makes the park special is the combination of the natural beauty and the calmness. You can hear the gentle sound of the river along with the birds chirping, which creates a well-soothing atmosphere. For me, this park is not just a recreational place but also quite escape from the noise of the city. Sitting by the river and enjoying the fresh air always makes me feel peaceful and recharged.

Well, currently I'm living in a bustling and crowded area, especially in the northern part of Bangalore, where life is quite busy. I would like to go for a quiet place where I can feel calmness and peaceful within me. And that quiet place would be somewhere in Kerala, surrounded by greenery, plants and trees. And it should have a natural environment with complete animals and plants. This place should also be having a hilly region with a river flowing underneath it. So this is a place which always gives me relaxation sense. So this place will be quiet and I expect a sense of serene and tranquil nature over there. I'd like to spend my complete day under the mountain, in the bushes and enjoy the real beauty of nature. So this is a beautiful escape from a fast-paced life that I'm having right now. This quiet place would definitely give me the sense of relaxation and would be definitely a great break for me. And this place will be also... I'd like to explore some of these places. Actually, there is a place in Kerala known as Wayanadu, which is almost completely covered by natural habitat. And it's a very good place to go. If I get a chance, I would definitely go there. I love to go at my grandparents' home near the beach which is held far from my home town and I used to love to go there because when I feel loneliness or when I feel any bad in mind or any difficulty in me, I have to go there and I spend time with them and I look at the beach and nature. I used to love there and I will think about why I came and I will think about ideas and everything. Moreover, I used to love to go there and spend time with them. It will give me more happiness and it feels comfort. When we spend time with grandparents, they also get very happy in their faces and they used to laugh. And when they are lonely, they think about the past they have spent with their grandchildren and family members and they go there daily and they spend most of their time with their thoughts and memories. More often I used to go there. When is there any festival, like if we get any 2-3 days more of holidays, then I will go. For example, recently when I went there and I spent time with them and we used to celebrate the festival and we used to talk about our past and future and everything. A quiet place I frequently visit nowadays is my house's terrace. Especially during night when I go there to get disconnected from all the stress and fatigue from my work. This is very helping to keep my mind calm and stay mentally stable. Sometimes I just like to sit there without any kind of noise and not thinking about anything, staring into the stars and sky, it is quietly refreshing.

One of the beautiful places I have ever visited in my life, it's called Sankhi Tang. It's located in Bangalore, near to Sanjay Nagar. I visit that place because it's very quiet, very silent, where people can sit and talk with their own souls. I feel low and whenever I feel low, I go there and sit as and when because it helps me out to connect with myself, with my own energies and quite to be understood. It takes me long time to get there but then I try to do it. As long as for me, my peace is over everything. It gets on me too as a human being because one of the major disadvantages of human is that they do not give time to themselves. So Sankhi Tanghi is one of the places where I sit, I talk to myself and then get back to my routine work. That gets me energized. That gets me enthusiastic in my terms of leading life in different rules, in different boundaries and circumstances. Moreover, it happens to be the happiest place in my life. As I said, it gives me peace. Further to add about that place is that you will have that sense of beingness, belongingness of yourself in that.

As I am a working woman, it's a very hectic day and tight schedules for me. There are a lot of deadlines which I have to meet on a daily basis, which keep me very tired and posted with the work. Therefore, I like to be around in quiet places few times to relax my mind and body. Therefore, I prefer going to a lake which is near to my house, 2 km away. I prefer to go to that place after my office around 8 pm in the night, which gives me tranquility there. It's surrounded by lush green and away from city traffic. The calming nature and the sound of waves help me heal within. It is very peaceful to see around the nature noise, to feel the tranquility and walk around the lake. It helps to reconnect myself within my soul and reconnect all my thoughts again. It is very essential for one to be with oneself after such a hectic schedule.
