When I was a kid, I had a little pencil box which had these four buttons which gave the pencil box an operative use. When you press the button, the box would open up. When you press the second button, a little part of it would slide out. Basically it was just a little electronical and a fun thing to have and I owned it when I was in 6th. One day after break, I was standing and talking there with one of my friends and another friend of mine was running through the hallway and accidentally she pushed my shoulder and my pencil box hit the ground and it broke into multiple pieces to the point that it was not functional anymore.

It Ends With Us is a book I read recently. It's by the author Colleen Hoare. It's mainly a story about two teenagers, Atlas and Lily, and how they just handle their life going through high school, adolescence, and just domestic violence at home. Both of them come from very, very different families. However, they have one common determining factor between them, which is domestic violence. The abuse that they've seen their moms go through is just insane, and they connect through that on a different level. They're actually in the same high school, but they never speak to each other until Atlas actually crashes into an empty house next to Lily's villa. When Atlas is homeless and he doesn't have anywhere to go, he just comes and breaks into the house next to Lily's, and Lily helps him with all the daily necessities like clothes and food, medicines and stuff. Furthermore, their friendship blossoms into love, but it doesn't really fructify as Atlas has to leave. This book really gave me a lot of knowledge about domestic abuse and how to deal with it.

The place which I like to go is Kashmir which is situated at the northernmost part of India. Kashmir is called as the winter wonderland of India and it attracts thousands and millions of tourists every year. But I usually prefer to visit some offbeat places and the quiet places which are unexplored by the tourists. Places like Doodhpatri and Newsmark are a heaven on this earth. These offbeat places which are very much less visited, I like to explore them every time in summers. As the winters over there are harsh, I usually visit these places in the winters, in the summers. And I specifically like to explore these places because of the peaceful life that they have and the nature which is very much close to these people is a striking feature of these quiet places. I usually go there to experience the village life, their culture, food and a life without the modern technologies. This gives me a refreshing and a calm mind.

I originally come from Uchain, a quiet city near Indore in Madhya Pradesh. I am currently living in Indore to pursue my higher education. Being a developing city, Indore has a lot of crowd and quite some noise. To get an escape from this, I often go to a waterfall on the outskirts of the city. It is about 10 km from there. It is an unnamed waterfall. I like to go there just because of the quietness and to relax there. Since it is not known to many, there is almost no crowd. That provides a great interaction with the nature. There are a few docks. There is a bit of track. You have to go downhill and then there is a waterfall after trekking for about 2 or 3 km. I often visit the place after monsoons so that it is a bit less dangerous. Also, the water is there. The waterfalls only come out during or after monsoon season. In the summer time, it is very dry. Also, the scorching heat of Madhya Pradesh makes it a place to avoid. Along with the waterfall, there is a small pond. I like to go and sit near it with my legs knee-deep in the water. It gives a refreshing and joyful feeling whenever I sit there.

A quiet place I like to go to is a church. I like to visit the Catholic Church when I am feeling overwhelmed by the fast world we live in. When often I am so tired of work, I'm so tired of life and everything, I just like to go to church where I can sit and I'll be able to meditate and pray and talk to my creator and later just sit quietly and listen. Listen I'll hear nothing from no one, nobody, but I will get the peace and the serenity I need. The Catholic Church is in every country in the world, so wherever I find myself physically I just visit the Catholic Church.

In the hustle and bustle of daily life, finding a quiet place to unwind is essential for mental clarity and relaxation. One such place that I cherish is the Lakeside Park near my home. The Lakeside Park is misty lush greenery surrounded by tall trees that sway gently in the breeze. The park features a lake with crystal clear water reflecting in the sky creating a picturesque view. The atmosphere in the park is incredibly calming. The sound of chirping birds and rustling leaves create a soothing background allowing me to escape from the noise of the city. I often visit the place to read my favorite books or practice meditation. These Lakeside Parks hold a special place in my heart because it provides me the sanctuary away from everyday stresses. The Lakeside Park is a quiet place that I deeply appreciate. Its natural beauty and serene environment offers a safer, relaxational, introspective and essential part of my life.

A place that I love to go is a countryside area near Mia Road, Mumbai. I usually go there with my girlfriend to spend time together, to have a chit chat for our future planning. Because I love to go there because it's so peaceful and quiet that can make our mind stress free. And I usually go there in every alternate days. I love the atmosphere there, we get to see a lot of animals and birds chirping over there. There is also a lake nearby so we can just sit back and relax and just talk about the things of our lives that is bothering us. Or we can just sit there and observe a fresh air that is coming through the trees and the lakes. However, the place that I would like to go with her are the cafes for the coffee dates and sometimes cinemas in the weekends to chill out our weak mood and can strengthen our bones. Because I think it is important to go on a date with your loved ones to make your bones more stronger for future. And I am just planning to move to Germany with her so it's good to talk about the things that is bothering us.

My favorite quiet place would be the terrace in my apartment. Living in an apartment, I don't usually find a lot of places where there's enough privacy and peace. But my terrace is my favorite place. A lot of people do not visit the terrace, especially in the morning and in the afternoon. Hence, I just like to visit the terrace during these timings. Mostly if I'm studying or I just want some peace and privacy. Also, you know, as a human, you just want to refresh yourself sometimes and feel a little calm between work. So I guess terrace is a perfect place for me to just sit and stare at those blue skies and just look at your environment and just admire the beauty around you. One more thing I do in the terrace is sometimes make important calls as there's a lot of silence in the terrace compared to what I have in my very own flat. So I have enough peace and silence to discuss any kind of project or hold meetings in the terrace. One more thing I prefer doing in the terrace is listening to music or sometimes even working out actually. If my neighbors do permit that. Yes, so terrace is a perfect place for me to just spend time in and have some peace.

A quiet place I like to go is a riverside near my home. I usually go there around the evening. I relax there, enjoy the calmness. It gives me time to gather my thoughts and enjoy the scenery. Also, it helps me to get in touch with nature and have a refreshing feeling. The river is located near my home, so it's very accessible. And quiet. Over the years, I have developed a particular affinity to the river and its surroundings. I can watch birds coming by, animals, and even the sunset. I like particularly to sit near the river banks and watch the sunset.

A quiet place I particularly enjoy escaping to is a small, scheduled beach in Bali, just north of Seminyak. It's a bit of a hidden gem, tucked away from the bustling tourist crowds that often flock. To the more popular southern beaches, you won't find rows of sun loungers or vendors hawking their wares here. Instead, it's a place where the sand is still a bit rough and scattered with volcanic pebbles and the waves crash with more enigmatic energy. What I love most about this particular pass is tranquility. Even though it's not completely deserted, you might see a few local fishing or a couple of surfers further out. It feels remarkable and peaceful. The dominant sounds are the rhythmic roar of the ocean, the gentle rustling of the palm trees lying on the shore, and the occasional call of the seabird. There's a small family warung nearby you can get simple meal and fresh coconut.

    Band 6-7

A quiet and peaceful place where I love to visit at least once a year has to be my hometown. My hometown is named as Devgarh. So basically it is a village located next to a beach. The reason why I love to go there is because it is so peaceful whenever I visit that place. The beaches unlike other commercial beaches are very untouched and hence it is just a pristine experience whenever I go and visit that place. And every time I visit my village, it's like a new experience for me. And the beach's unique thing about them is that they are very quiet. So it's kind of a luxury for me to get some time off my busy schedule, busy weekly schedule and just relax and unwind in those locations. One another thing that I love about going to my village is it replenishes a lot of childhood memories for me. Whenever I used to climb coconut trees, when I used to go swim in the river or a well for that matter, it just brings back those memories and it's just a positive nostalgia for me whenever I go there. It also makes me want to recall my memories with my grandparents which is an emotional aspect of me which keeps me attached to that place and hence I love to go there.
