When I was a kid, I had a little pencil box which had these four buttons which gave the pencil box an operative use. When you press the button, the box would open up. When you press the second button, a little part of it would slide out. Basically it was just a little electronical and a fun thing to have and I owned it when I was in 6th. One day after break, I was standing and talking there with one of my friends and another friend of mine was running through the hallway and accidentally she pushed my shoulder and my pencil box hit the ground and it broke into multiple pieces to the point that it was not functional anymore.

It Ends With Us is a book I read recently. It's by the author Colleen Hoare. It's mainly a story about two teenagers, Atlas and Lily, and how they just handle their life going through high school, adolescence, and just domestic violence at home. Both of them come from very, very different families. However, they have one common determining factor between them, which is domestic violence. The abuse that they've seen their moms go through is just insane, and they connect through that on a different level. They're actually in the same high school, but they never speak to each other until Atlas actually crashes into an empty house next to Lily's villa. When Atlas is homeless and he doesn't have anywhere to go, he just comes and breaks into the house next to Lily's, and Lily helps him with all the daily necessities like clothes and food, medicines and stuff. Furthermore, their friendship blossoms into love, but it doesn't really fructify as Atlas has to leave. This book really gave me a lot of knowledge about domestic abuse and how to deal with it.

So, I went to this place, Sakleshpur, near Pandor. This place is a hilly region and I went in the month of December 2024 and the people over there suggested me to visit at the time of February. They said it will be more cold and the vacation would be, the weather would be really good and I would like to visit it again because it is a place where I felt it was really quiet, peaceful and it was, I was surrounded fully by coffee estates and the resort where we went and stayed was really calm, quiet, all the birds chirping and it was really a good experience and I went along with my family, so it was kind of a family trip. We enjoyed, we went to many kind of places and also there's a church nearby it, which is said to be only seen on the months of January to, December to January because at the time of when monsoon comes, the church goes deep into the water, while in the summer or in the winter, it is the best time to visit. So I found the church really also interesting, yeah.

I love to travel to Goa. Goa has so many beautiful places, beautiful beaches. It has South Goa and North Goa. Or we can categorize Goa into sections. Where North Goa has different cafes, beautiful restaurants and delicious foods to enjoy with friends. Whereas South Goa has serene and beautiful beaches. The place has different beaches which I really like to go. I really like the Benolim beach because it is serene as it is in South Goa. There is not much crowd present there. Additionally, we can enjoy reading books sitting in the shacks at the seashore. Last time I carried my book, I sat there, I read my book there and it was a very satisfactory experience for me.

So, a quiet place which I would go to when I feel like going to somewhere is Marina. Because that place really feels so personal to me and also especially in the night time around 12 am in the midnight, that is a perfect time where I feel very connected to the place and also there would be literally no one in the place. So the whole beach, the shore, everything feels so solitary and I really like the sound when I am there. I would drive along from my place to the beach at the nights and it really keeps me calm and composed for the moment. It really is therapeutic to travel from my place to there when the roads are empty at that time and it really makes me feel happy to be there with a friend or someone. Sometimes the police comes there for checking if there are people but yeah, there will be a lot of people celebrating their birthdays and something, roasting crackers and also having fun along the beach way. But I would like to sit there and listen to music or listen to the waves cracking to the shores or something. That is something I would recommend to someone who is not feeling well mentally or physically because that really boosts me.

I like to visit like Kodaikanal. It is located in Tamil Nadu. I would like my friends used to recommend this place. It is my dream to visit that place. Like I like to visit because everyone is telling it is very beautiful place. Like it is very quiet and it is so refreshing. So whenever I am planning my next vacation, I like to go in Kodaikanal. It is like covered with, especially at the winter time you can see snowfall also there. So I never saw snowfall in my life. So I like to visit there and I want to go with my family members. So I can have more fun with my sisters, cousins and all. So I would like to go there. Moreover I heard that place is quiet. You can see like many other adventure sports are there like zipline, like boating, many things are there which I would like to do. And like my friends used to share many pics which they went recently. They went by that made me more to more interested and curious to visit that place. So it is one of my dream place. There is a place in my room in the city of Hyderabad which is located in Telangana state in India. I love to go there because it is always calm and it will let my worries calm down and let my mind to be at peace. Even though the city is the most busiest one, my room in Hyderabad is another level because I can meditate, I can calm myself down, I can think properly that will help me to be mentally stable. That's why I actually prefer to go there when I am depressed or worried or if I want to get new ideas or something like that.

    Band 6-7

I would like to go to Northeast India because of its less population density and also high concentration of virus and also very quiet environment. Most of the forest in that place is preserved by the government. So we could see many species intact in that place. And also we could find mental peace in these areas because we could feel disconnected from our professional lives and also we could feel peace when we are being there. It helps us free from stress and also it helps us to be more concentrated and more energized when we are returning back to our work. I believe we need to have some of these things in our lives. So our lives would be meaningful rather focusing all out on our work may cause burnout. So I think being in a quiet place for some time in our life is important, especially places that are isolated and also untouched. They might be somewhat underrated, but they can be enjoyed more. Some places might feel quiet, but because of the publicity or the efforts of the city governments, the places might get crowded with the tourists. So it is important to do some research while finding quiet places for us to enjoy. So we might get some mental peace and clarity in our life.

The place I like to visit, quiet place is near Mysore, Bylakuppe. It is very peaceful place where all the Tibetan people live and they have many fields, many empty places, less crowded and very peaceful place. In the evening time, we can hear all the animals which is there, nearby forest, the animal sound in the morning, the bird sound and the sunrise, sunset and everything. In the Buddhist temple, nearby Buddhist temple, I go and visit in the evenings, in the morning. It is very peaceful and it calms your mind and there I like to eat momos, the authentic Tibetan momos which they prepare and the day goes, the day starts with the beautiful sunrise and beautiful the field which the farmers put water and the soil smell, everything. If you want to travel some places from there, we need a bike, so we go by bike with my friends and we go to the cafes and we drink coffee and then we have breakfast there, then we come back home and we cook authentic Tibetan food and the place in the evening, you can go to the garden where people play football, children play football and everything.

    Band 6-7

I can mention many of the names where I would like to go to find a quiet place for the mental peace actually. But one of my favorite places is my village where long back my grandfather was staying. So the most peaceful places in my village, sometime I am going to sit near the river which is very quiet, very amazing feeling to release my stress. There are mango gardens where I can spend hours to sit there and to watch the activities or to listen the voice of birds actually. Sometime I like to go with my childhood friends to go in the gardens or where in the farming lands to sit with them to recall our past memories. So it's a quite amazing place for me to visit when I need the mental peace or to find the quiet place.
