When I was a kid, I had a little pencil box which had these four buttons which gave the pencil box an operative use. When you press the button, the box would open up. When you press the second button, a little part of it would slide out. Basically it was just a little electronical and a fun thing to have and I owned it when I was in 6th. One day after break, I was standing and talking there with one of my friends and another friend of mine was running through the hallway and accidentally she pushed my shoulder and my pencil box hit the ground and it broke into multiple pieces to the point that it was not functional anymore.

It Ends With Us is a book I read recently. It's by the author Colleen Hoare. It's mainly a story about two teenagers, Atlas and Lily, and how they just handle their life going through high school, adolescence, and just domestic violence at home. Both of them come from very, very different families. However, they have one common determining factor between them, which is domestic violence. The abuse that they've seen their moms go through is just insane, and they connect through that on a different level. They're actually in the same high school, but they never speak to each other until Atlas actually crashes into an empty house next to Lily's villa. When Atlas is homeless and he doesn't have anywhere to go, he just comes and breaks into the house next to Lily's, and Lily helps him with all the daily necessities like clothes and food, medicines and stuff. Furthermore, their friendship blossoms into love, but it doesn't really fructify as Atlas has to leave. This book really gave me a lot of knowledge about domestic abuse and how to deal with it.

I like a program called Deshef which is a TV show in Maravil Manorama specifically based in Kerala and it's in the language Malayalam. The show is about cooking different contestants come there and they participate, they show cast their talents and there are three different chefs who decide and mark whatever dishes they make. It was released during my childhood days when I was in 8th standard. This show actually made me love cooking that's where I started to try out things, I started to make different types of food. In addition I used to watch it regularly without missing any day. The interesting part of this show was that every day they used to bring in new new challenges that the contestants had to take up and they had a lot of struggles during their journey and ultimately there is a winner in the end who gets rewarded with 30 lakh and a house but they eventually turn into a master chef and is recognized by the whole nation. So I think the show made me love cooking and that's how I ended up liking it.

There are a lot of shows which I have seen in my life, basically on any OTT channels like Netflix, Jio Hotstar, Disney Hotstar. So I think these are the basically most popular channel nowadays and on which people are watching a lot of programs. But here I'm going to talk about a particular program which was my childhood favorite. So it named as Man vs. Wild, which was basically a Discovery Channel program and was conducted by Bear Grylls. Bear Grylls was a main person in that show which basically gives the information about how to survive in such a harsh and difficult situation. He also gave a lot of tips to be in the challenging and demanding circumstances out of which a person can get and be in a natural pace of their life. I think that was a really informative and a knowledgeable show as well as it also motivates a lot of persons. If a person is really curious about some adventurous activities, he or she might get influenced by Bear Grylls at one point of their life, as I am. Because I am a really curious child, so I always wanted to be like Bear Grylls and also explore the different places which was untouched by any person. So I think being in that situation and getting out of that is also giving the example of a real life. Like Bear Grylls motivates us to just get out from our comfort zone and do whatever we want to achieve our success. I think that is a really important message or a model of that show which I got to learn and I am using it in my life till now.

As in the busy schedule and tough working time, I am mostly used to the program, but the most interesting and I like it the most program to watch in my free time is the Master Chef India, which is just a cooking reality show, where most of the cooks, the professional cooks from various cities compete with each other to show their cooking skills and to get the tag of the Master Chef. I watch this when I was having a free time on weekends and all of that. I watch it mostly over my TV or most times I watch it with my family as well because it's a family show and my family, my mom, dad as well like to watch the show. Because it's just consisting of the cooking skills and the program consists of a funny mentorship, anchorship. They are our judges who just equilibrally name the qualities of the contestants as well. There is a more fun fact in that. As well, there are the cooking tips as well and it just looks interesting, it just seems interesting to watch. So, my family, mom, dad is also looking forward to that too and from the starting of my career, from the starting of my childhood, I also aspire to be a cook. I also think about to work in a hotel management so, I also like this profession. So, it's been an interesting movie, sorry, it's been an interesting program which I enjoy a lot to watch and just aim to be a chef.

So, the program I like to watch is Netflix. I prefer Netflix as there are numerous amount of movies and web shows present on the app. My favorite show to watch is Friends due to its recognizable characters, events and there are some phrases. My favorite episode of Friends where Joey stuck his head inside the turkey to scare Chandler. It was very hilarious to watch Joey grooming here and there with the turkey on his head. I like Friends as it is mind-freshening and it refreshes my mood. I have completed Friends around 2-3 years ago but I still remember each and every segment of it. I still prefer to watch some episode of Friends. When I feel lonely or depressing, I just turn on some random episode of Friends and go through it so that I can change my mood and recollect all the memories of the Friends. I like to watch all the characters talking to each other, playing with each other, fighting with each other here and there. It feels very realistic as it was based on 1990s. I like to see that culture which was going on in the 1990s. The costumes, the characters, the apartments, everything is very home-like. So, it's very nice to see Friends.

My favorite program that I watch is Uncensored with Piers Morgan. It is basically a news program hosted by, as you can guess by the name, a host called Piers Morgan. He is certainly my favorite host too. The program is about various issues going around in the world, containing aspects of social, economic and political topics and it is really a treat to watch it as it gives me vast knowledge about the topics that I am unaware of. I really enjoy listening to the guests that are there and it also happens sometimes in the form of a debate where people with different views debates with each other and discuss certain topics. My favorite segment of the program is when Piers Morgan unbiasedly questions the host about their views regardless of what Piers Morgan personally believes. He asks the other people critical questions about their views and most of the time he just makes them numb because they could not logically answer his questions. So I really enjoyed that. It includes humor and so many and I actually learn my vocabulary from there too.
