When I was a kid, I had a little pencil box which had these four buttons which gave the pencil box an operative use. When you press the button, the box would open up. When you press the second button, a little part of it would slide out. Basically it was just a little electronical and a fun thing to have and I owned it when I was in 6th. One day after break, I was standing and talking there with one of my friends and another friend of mine was running through the hallway and accidentally she pushed my shoulder and my pencil box hit the ground and it broke into multiple pieces to the point that it was not functional anymore.

It Ends With Us is a book I read recently. It's by the author Colleen Hoare. It's mainly a story about two teenagers, Atlas and Lily, and how they just handle their life going through high school, adolescence, and just domestic violence at home. Both of them come from very, very different families. However, they have one common determining factor between them, which is domestic violence. The abuse that they've seen their moms go through is just insane, and they connect through that on a different level. They're actually in the same high school, but they never speak to each other until Atlas actually crashes into an empty house next to Lily's villa. When Atlas is homeless and he doesn't have anywhere to go, he just comes and breaks into the house next to Lily's, and Lily helps him with all the daily necessities like clothes and food, medicines and stuff. Furthermore, their friendship blossoms into love, but it doesn't really fructify as Atlas has to leave. This book really gave me a lot of knowledge about domestic abuse and how to deal with it.

One of my favorite TV programs is the series Friends. Friends is basically a series about a few individuals in their mid-twenties living in a city together. So their apartments are opposite facing. And they're just navigating life, their struggles, their happy moments together. Particularly there's this episode in which it's around Thanksgiving time and one of the characters is hosting a dinner at her house but rest of the friends wish to go out and play soccer. So they put the turkey in the oven, it's put in to cook and everything while they're playing outside. And it gets really chaotic because she leaves the timer on but then she forgets to really look into it and go home and close the timer back. And then there's this whole fight with her brother. So I think it's really enjoyable about the series. Especially I think personally the reason I like it is the lessons it provides me with. I learn how to inculcate and involve people. Learn how every opinion matters and how every character, every friend of yours in real life has a significant contribution in your life to help you grow as an individual. And there's something in everyone through which you can learn and grow. And your friends always have your back no matter what. Your family comes first but your friends also come first. And your friends become your new family when you're away.

The program that I love to watch is Mindhunter and I watch it on Netflix. The show is about the criminal minds and how people get away from crime just like that. And to decode the crime, what are the essential factors that one is supposed to keep in mind. So the whole idea of the show revolves around the simple fact that how we get ahead of the crazy if we don't know how the crazy thinks. Which is why I really get into it. I really get the concept and how they look forward to decoding deviance in their everyday lives. The entire season 1 that has 7-8 episodes, they are dealing with different cases ranging from age 10-50-80 and how the trouble comes without knowing. And they cannot take a step back and only look forward to it and how they have a face to face, man to man conversation with the accused. That is something beautiful about the series.

Well, there are a few episodes that I like to watch. Most of them are sitcoms while there are a few that are also suspense and thriller. The ones that are suspense and thriller are Sherlock Holmes and Doctor House that is more of a medical profession but yeah, there's a little bit of thrill there as well. But most of the ones that I watch are sitcoms and my favourite one would be How I Met Your Mother that I've recently finished it a couple of days ago. But there are a few things that I like in that particular sitcom and that is it is based on a narration mode. So, you are actually experiencing the whole episode while someone is narrating it. So, it's about 5 people or 5 group of friends who like to sit down on a pub and they like to discuss their daily life and it's just amazing. It's very comedy. It's about a guy named Ted Mosby who is out there in the open trying to find love of his life. He has tried a couple of times and by the time we reach the final season, he has tried a couple of times and failed everywhere. Finally, when he has given all the hopes, he finally meets the mother of his child and it's just amazing. And 9th season, that is my favourite one as well because it's on counter-clockwise.

Okay, so I want to talk about Sandeep Kapoor's program which is streaming on the Sony channel. So I love this program because he explains the different methods of cooking and he does experiments. In addition, he uses different types of tools and ingredients to make the dish presentable. The last episode I have seen yesterday at 8pm and it was really amazing because he taught how to make ladyfinger, crispy ladyfinger with the use of corns and cornflour as well. So I was really amazed that the ladyfinger can be cooked in this manner as well. So that's why I love this episode. After that, overall, I always try to make different kinds of cuisines with the help of this episode and I love to do experiments with the food which I am making for my family. So that's why I love this program. Moreover, he also teaches us how to use different kinds of tools while making food. So this is what I love about this episode. Additionally, this episode comes at a very preferable time in the evening when I got free with all my hustles.

I would like to talk about a very interesting show named NatureWorld. It's a UK presenter with a nice voice talking about wildlife. Actually it's a very great documentary which describes wildlife in different areas like in the deserts or in the oceans or in green areas or forests. My favourite part is the C word. Like for example when you see the type of fishes and other sea mammals in addition to small creatures, I like to watch them interact and to observe their behaviour and their survival techniques. Generally I enjoy learning about nature and I enjoy learning in general. That's why I find it a very good chance to improve my English as well as making my knowledge broader.
