When I was a kid, I had a little pencil box which had these four buttons which gave the pencil box an operative use. When you press the button, the box would open up. When you press the second button, a little part of it would slide out. Basically it was just a little electronical and a fun thing to have and I owned it when I was in 6th. One day after break, I was standing and talking there with one of my friends and another friend of mine was running through the hallway and accidentally she pushed my shoulder and my pencil box hit the ground and it broke into multiple pieces to the point that it was not functional anymore.

It Ends With Us is a book I read recently. It's by the author Colleen Hoare. It's mainly a story about two teenagers, Atlas and Lily, and how they just handle their life going through high school, adolescence, and just domestic violence at home. Both of them come from very, very different families. However, they have one common determining factor between them, which is domestic violence. The abuse that they've seen their moms go through is just insane, and they connect through that on a different level. They're actually in the same high school, but they never speak to each other until Atlas actually crashes into an empty house next to Lily's villa. When Atlas is homeless and he doesn't have anywhere to go, he just comes and breaks into the house next to Lily's, and Lily helps him with all the daily necessities like clothes and food, medicines and stuff. Furthermore, their friendship blossoms into love, but it doesn't really fructify as Atlas has to leave. This book really gave me a lot of knowledge about domestic abuse and how to deal with it.

The house I will be talking about today is actually my uncle's house. I visited there with my mother. That house is what I would call my dream house. It's not only a building or an apartment but it's more of a home. It's a very beautiful sea facing apartment located on the Hollywood hills. It is priced really expensive but the house actually speaks the worth for its money. I remember the first time I went there with my mom, I was mesmerized. I could not imagine a house this beautiful. It has all the beautiful features, all the modern equipments you could ever imagine including the automatic doors, the voice features, the Alexa, Siri, all kinds of modern features were present in the house for anybody to be surprised. One of the other reasons I really liked that house was the balcony was the most peaceful place you could ever go to. The balcony was a total sea facing open place where you could just stand and face the ocean. Additionally, he also made the kitchen really impressive. He actually considered himself to be a really good cook. So his main focus was to get a well designed modern equipped kitchen which he did as well.

So the house that I am very much fond of is of my friend. Her house is a 3BHK, 3 story bungalow with an underground space as a living hall and a small kitchen with a veranda. I have never seen a house with a lift and that is the feature that makes me fascinate about her house. Apart from the lift, I would say what grabs my attention is the type of furnitures that she has. Her parents are very much fond of ancient royal furnitures. The detailing in the furniture, the sofa, the chair, it's so beautiful, it's so classy. It just makes me wonder what expenses did they spend to buy such an antique furniture. She has a modular kitchen which is not normal like a normal modular kitchen. I have seen on advertisements about the clapping system in a kitchen where when one claps, the door opens, the slab opens. She has the exact same type of modular kitchen and different appliances. I am into cooking and baking so my love for oven and different types of instruments, machines that helps to bake, it just makes me wow. And her bedroom is so aesthetically pleasing. It's a pure vintage cottage core aesthetic with curtains in her bed.

One house that I think is really impressive belongs to my friend who lives in Dehradun, the capital city of Uttarakhand. She and her family moved there a few years ago and since then I have visited them a couple of times. Every time I go, I feel like I am walking into a perfect, beautifully designed home. Their house is a modern two-storey building located in a quite residential area. From the outside, it has a neat and elegant look with white walls, large windows and a small but well-maintained garden. In the front, the garden is full with different flowers and there is even a small fountain that adds a calming touch to the entrance. Inside the house is just as lovely. The living room is spacious with wooden flooring, comfortable sofas and soft lighting that creates a warm atmosphere. They have used a lot of earthy colours and indoor plants in decoration which make the space feel very natural and relaxing. What I liked most about the house is the balcony on the first floor. It has a perfect view of the nearby hills and a perfect place to sit in the evening with a cup of tea. There is also a study room which is very quiet and filled with books which I find very inspiring for the study. The entire house is a perfect mix of modern design and comfort. It is not too big or too fancy but it feels very homely and peaceful. I always enjoy staying there and I think it is worth it.

Hi, today I will be talking about a person's house or apartment that I believe is very good. Firstly, it was one of my friend's house that I visited two years back that is in 2023. It was my first visit to their house and I was astonished by the feeling of lavishness that that house was depicting as from the moment I entered the house, I was not able to put off my eyes from each and every corner of that house even for a single second. This house was located in Vasant Kunj that is South Delhi, one of the posh areas in Delhi. The whole floor was covered with Italian marble and export quality carpets. The wooden work that was done was amazing and it was so eye pleasing. The scent of the house was also very pleasant that is very welcoming and they have quite number of housekeepers that were there to welcome me. When I entered the first living room, I was able to see heads of animals that were put there as decorative piece and it gave such a luxurious experience. When I sat on the sofa, it felt that it was a very expensive and a luxury piece of art and the table that I was sitting at was something that I was not able to get feeling of at any other place. This feeling of the house of my friend that I got, that is something that I aim in my near future that maybe someday I will be able to work this hard to get at that level to buy things for my parents and myself in this future.

One house that I generally admire and love to talk about and think is really well designed belongs to my cousin sister who lives in Chandigarh, a beautiful and well planned city in Northern India. Her house is a modern duplex with two spacious floors, a lovely balcony and small yet vibrant garden in the front yard. The moment you enter you are greeted by a cosy living room that's decorated with soft lighting, comfortable furniture and stylish wall art. The color scheme of her home is calming, mostly pasty shades like light blue and cream which create a peaceful atmosphere. What I really love about her house is how she blended traditional and modern elements. For example, there is a prayer room decorated with the handcrafted items and right next to it is a fully modern kitchen with the latest appliances. Her bedroom has large glass windows that let in the plenty of natural light and the view from balcony in the evening is absolutely beautiful. I usually visit her house once every couple of months, especially during family function or when I am in Chandigarh for holidays. Every time I go there, I feel so refreshed. She also makes delicious snacks so it's always a treat. I think her house is amazing not just because it's beautiful but it feels like a home, warm, welcoming and peaceful. It's the kind of place where you can relax.

So this house was located in a very isolated environment where me and my friend wanted to book an Airbnb and we decided this house would be a perfect suit because the host was a woman and we both, since we were girls, we felt safe with a woman host. So two days after booking this trip, me and my friend went to this house located near a beach side cliff. So this house was exactly located at the top of a cliff overlooking the beach and once we entered inside, the entire vibe of the house was so modernized. The kitchen was really modernized with grey table tops and entering the house, the right side was kitchen and left side you had the living room furnished with grey sofa sets and there was a little cat also which was a Persian cat and was kind of cute and as we entered and walked into the house, there was a staircase that was built around a pole and it ascended to a room where there were two beds. One was near the rooftop overlooking the beach and there was another bed overlooking the lawn nearby and the walls were wooden and really calm and cozy. So being in that house made me feel really isolated and in a good way and also it gave me a sense of security, peacefulness and warmth that I couldn't find in an apartment.

A person's house or apartment that I liked very much was my best friend Shalini's house. She had invited me to watch a movie on weekend. That is when I saw her house, which was aesthetically pleasing and the colors in the living room were really bright and good, I would say. It was really pleasing to the eye. All the furnitures were faced towards the TV and the elements that she had in her mind were also traditional and modern. Her dining table was also placed with a modern touch, I would say. There was also space for a bookshelf, which I really admired. She had not only placed importance on modern items, but also on traditional items. Furthermore, the house was really aesthetically pleasing and eye-catching. I felt really inspired after looking at her house. I was thinking about renovating my house too and also taking few tips from her.

Recently, I visited an apartment in Mysuru, where it is located in Siddhartha Layout. It belongs to our admission department personnel called Mr. Varghese Thomas. I felt extraordinary, which is related to interior, the way it is designed and the glass work which is made. It looks beautiful. I visited along with my family for a house warming ceremony. The work of construction of the entire building remains unbelievable. The lighting which was fitted was great.

Recently, last month, when I went on a trip to Kerala, I happened to stay in one of my friend's house. In Kerala, if you see, the architecture is very beautiful. Everybody used to build houses in a signature design, which is called as Nallukettu, which is basically a rectangular structure consisting of a central open courtyard. Additionally, these are built to provide natural light and ventilation. Moreover, it is well suited for the humid climate of Kerala. There is also a key feature in the building to protect them from heavy rainfalls. That is the slopey roofs, which naturally augments the flow of the rainwater downwards, hence protecting the house from flooding. And there is also a veranda in the entrance, which is quite good for chit-chatting and for a larger group of family. And it also has an open space around the house, mainly helpful for gardening. And also, there was a river at the back of the house, that's where everybody used to take bath in the mornings. That was a very exhilarating and amazing experience for me, because it is such a new vibe to the bath in the river in the morning, which is just at the back of your house. And furthermore, I felt very exhilarating.

I'd say that my paternal aunt's house has a room that belongs to my cousin, Ayat, that has to be the most beautiful room that I have seen among my family members. I think they have designed the house really beautifully as it is very aesthetically pleasing. One of the reasons that I find it to be so soothing is that the whole room is very organized and it has been beautifully designed with the thought given not only to the aesthetic value but also to the utility of the house as the kitchen is in the central part of the house by where my aunt can look after her children as well when they are studying in the dining room. Also, the house consists of a massive balcony with floor-to-ceiling windows. When we went to their house, we were lounging in those balconies throughout the day. It was very refreshing to have a place where we can just hang out and not have to worry about the privacy as we have in our own house. The house is well-decorated with fake flowers and vines all around the walls and it has fully functional equipment.
