When I was a kid, I had a little pencil box which had these four buttons which gave the pencil box an operative use. When you press the button, the box would open up. When you press the second button, a little part of it would slide out. Basically it was just a little electronical and a fun thing to have and I owned it when I was in 6th. One day after break, I was standing and talking there with one of my friends and another friend of mine was running through the hallway and accidentally she pushed my shoulder and my pencil box hit the ground and it broke into multiple pieces to the point that it was not functional anymore.

It Ends With Us is a book I read recently. It's by the author Colleen Hoare. It's mainly a story about two teenagers, Atlas and Lily, and how they just handle their life going through high school, adolescence, and just domestic violence at home. Both of them come from very, very different families. However, they have one common determining factor between them, which is domestic violence. The abuse that they've seen their moms go through is just insane, and they connect through that on a different level. They're actually in the same high school, but they never speak to each other until Atlas actually crashes into an empty house next to Lily's villa. When Atlas is homeless and he doesn't have anywhere to go, he just comes and breaks into the house next to Lily's, and Lily helps him with all the daily necessities like clothes and food, medicines and stuff. Furthermore, their friendship blossoms into love, but it doesn't really fructify as Atlas has to leave. This book really gave me a lot of knowledge about domestic abuse and how to deal with it.

So this happened a few years ago. One summer when I was playing with my friends, we got this new kid who joined into our society. He was this very big artist in Collywood. His name is Harris Jayaraj. The kid was his son. So we didn't know at that time but we brought him in and we like made him play in our team. We were playing cricket and we made him play in our team. Then one day he invited all of us in his house in the evening and when we went we were like starstruck to see the house. It was so beautiful. He had an individual villa. He had his own villa where he had sliding drive-thru where he had a small ice-cream shop and a parking later that because we call it as a drive-thru where you stop at the ice-cream shop and go inside the drive-thru. He had about like five to six cars in his garage. They were all like starting from Mercedes to Ferraris, Audis. He showed us his cars and he showed us. Then he took us inside his apartment where he had an indoor pool and an outdoor infinity pool. It was just pretty big and beautiful with glowing lights and stuff. His house was well constructed in a modern way. They had an artifact.

When I was in Engage, I went to my friend's house which is nearer to my home. I went there along with my younger brother. The house is very huge and well furnished with good architecture. In the middle of the hall, there is a large painting of Lord Venkateswara. I like it very much. Along with that, on the corner side of the hall, there is a painting with the theme of Radha Krishna. I love that painting. Not only that, everything in that house is well furnished and well organized. The house has a very large kitchen area and especially the garden. I love the garden very much. It contains large flowers. After I visited that house, I felt that I want to build a house like that in the future. From that day, I dreamt about a house like that.

    Band 6-7

I visited various apartments or houses in my life, but here I would like to talk about the specific one which I like very much. It is apartment of my friend, which is located in my own hometown in Pinjore. I visited his home in recent examination because we made a plan to study alone, so we can study in their home. At that time, I visited their home and felt over the moon because the structure of their homes was well planned. Firstly, I entered in the drawing hall, after that one side of the corner has a kitchen and on other hand, there is two bedrooms and with attached washrooms. After that, there is stairs along the side of kitchen and we take stairs to go to the second floor of that building. After entering the second floor, we found one lawn and there is several rooms with attached bathrooms. As well as, we found the long backyard in the back side where we found that different types of gardening his father was doing as well as there is a well planned manor house which I felt over the moon after visiting because nowadays, people spend lots of money and don't recognize their flats in a proper way and put don't efforts in making houses because they are not made a plan which type of house is good.

In today's modern era, with the advent of modernization, a lot of people have refurbished their homes in order to make them more appropriate and provide a more facilitative environment to people. So, when it comes to me, from my personal experience, the most fascinating house that I have ever seen is of one of my friends who is currently living in Goa and her house is situated there as well. I got a chance last summer to visit it with my other friends and our whole group went there in order to see, explore the Goa, so when we visited there, we stayed in that one friend's home. When I firstly took a look on the home, I was completely amazed because usually I have heard that the Goa houses are not quite spacious and do not have much facilities, but her home was really appreciable because firstly it was related to the tradition and culture, but along with that it had all the facilities that is required in a well modernized home. Her house was literally shaped as a palace, like it had a dome shaped head, moreover the furniture was quite good and it had an ethnic touch in it and the furniture was all made of timber which was imported from America and it was very qualitative. Beyond that, when I saw the paintings and the renovation her mother did was really appreciable and I was really impressed by her home. It was quite spacious and gave a vibe of having a rush of greenery in the home. She had a personal garden where she used to spend a lot of time. I felt really amazing over there.

So, recently I visited my aunt's new house which is located in Iskcon, Boradbheo, 13 kilometers away from my home. When we entered her house, it gave me a fresh elegance and ambience which was filled with comfort and peace. The location where they are living is quite peaceful and gives such an easiness to you when you enter. I went there with my parents and my brother and we were extremely overwhelmed by the size of the house because when we entered it did not look quite big but as we moved forward the rooms unleashed themselves and how we saw them unwrapped around the square meter. I remember me and my brother being struck with joy as we found a room theatre which was the key feature for us. We spent our whole evening there watching movies, YouTube shots with our cousins. It was quite fun. The hall is always a major comfort for me. The colors were amazing and it was quite comforting for me personally.

I personally like my uncle's house very much. My uncle lives in Ahmedabad in the satellite area. Whenever I go to his place, his bungalow gives me a vibe of the vintage. I recently visited one of my friend's uncle's place whose name is Shashikant. Shashikant uncle lives in Ahmedabad near satellite area. So when we visited him, when I entered the house, it gave me a complete vintage house vibe. When I entered, there was an open space in the middle of the house, directly in the front of gate there was a kitchen, then the right side there were rooms and a store room, then again they had a second floor where there were few more rooms, each room was designed like so detailed oriented, the doors were like in the vintage like palaces used to have that kind of doors were there in the house, then yeah everyone is sitting in the middle of house, there are like in the beds they have placed in the middle where there is an open space, we can stargaze during the night whenever we start sleeping there. Yeah it was like a very good experience overall.

The person's apartment I would say that I like the most would be one of my neighbors. It was during the Ganesh Chaturthi festivals when we were taking sweets to everyone's houses, everyone's home and then that was the first time we visited his home. It was newly built and the most significant thing about his home was they had kept their old house as it is and they had a redevelopment of their upper floor. I visited with one of my friends. When I visited in the house, the most breathtaking thing was they had an open to sky atrium in their living area which acted as a sustain to the light energy which we get or the light ventilation but the overall feel of the apartment was basically attached to the atrium itself and it gave me a sense of homeliness. They had a very nice wood filling structure with all the louvers and they had an open kitchen which directly opened to the living room and that is like the main kind of design element I like. Like you can talk and you can communicate with the people in the room while cooking or you can have an engaged cooking unit. The second most thing was they had just two bedrooms but they were so grounded in them. They had a touch of modern architecture but they were grounded with all of the Marathi architecture present and the main key was they had their new house built attached to their old house which gave a sense of belonging that you need to sustain your culture, your ancestors work with your present work which would help you to go in a motion with stuff.

It's not a person's house actually, it's just an apartment I saw on the internet. I was scrolling Pinterest one day and that is when I saw this really cute apartment and it was basically like located in an old European building on the top floor of an old European building. And it was just, you know, like the vibe of that place was just so beautiful, like it just mesmerized me. I was just, you know, it was like my dream apartment and I am also planning on moving to Europe this year so yeah, like I would love to stay in an apartment like that when I move to Europe because it's really common I've heard, you know, to stay in an apartment like that in Europe, I mean more common than India I would say but I am pretty concerned about, you know, the condition because I've heard there are not like stairs, like the stairs and stuff are not well maintained, all that and like old European pipes are really noisy. I read it in a book but I guess I'll have to go and find it out on myself so yeah, I think that was like the one house that I really just loved. I would absolutely love to stay there and yeah.
