When I was a kid, I had a little pencil box which had these four buttons which gave the pencil box an operative use. When you press the button, the box would open up. When you press the second button, a little part of it would slide out. Basically it was just a little electronical and a fun thing to have and I owned it when I was in 6th. One day after break, I was standing and talking there with one of my friends and another friend of mine was running through the hallway and accidentally she pushed my shoulder and my pencil box hit the ground and it broke into multiple pieces to the point that it was not functional anymore.

    Answer

It Ends With Us is a book I read recently. It's by the author Colleen Hoare. It's mainly a story about two teenagers, Atlas and Lily, and how they just handle their life going through high school, adolescence, and just domestic violence at home. Both of them come from very, very different families. However, they have one common determining factor between them, which is domestic violence. The abuse that they've seen their moms go through is just insane, and they connect through that on a different level. They're actually in the same high school, but they never speak to each other until Atlas actually crashes into an empty house next to Lily's villa. When Atlas is homeless and he doesn't have anywhere to go, he just comes and breaks into the house next to Lily's, and Lily helps him with all the daily necessities like clothes and food, medicines and stuff. Furthermore, their friendship blossoms into love, but it doesn't really fructify as Atlas has to leave. This book really gave me a lot of knowledge about domestic abuse and how to deal with it.

So, I am living in my capital city which is the greenest city in the Gujarat. So, I am going to talk about my maternal grandfather who is very dedicated towards growing plants and because he likes them and finds them very enjoyable, the planting process is very good towards him and he plants variety of herbs and shrubs from tulsi, neem, mango trees, berry trees and even aloe vera. He mainly grows plants which are very useful medicinally and have very therapeutic properties. My grandfather has various diseases and he gets this habit from a physician because he was diagnosed with a specific disease which required aloe vera paste to be rubbed on his skin. So, he specifically started growing them and it has become a habit of him from then. This is very good because he grows so much aloe vera that even their neighbours come and collect them for their own needs. And because he is contributing towards society, there are many instances when he was awarded with the green award in his society. And even this green award was consecutively achieved by him even for three consecutive years. So, these are very good points you can say about him and I am very grateful that I have gotten a maternal grandfather who was very dedicated towards it and even I have picked up some skills from him. So, I am going to say that it is very enjoyable to do planting and this is a very good opportunity to me to learn about these things. And even in the future, I am continuing to resolve this issue.

My mother is somebody who is very passionate about whatever she does. So when she took up this habit, she was very sincere in it and she would take care of the plant with her whole heart. She would water it every day, provide it with the nutrients, all the vegetable fields that we used to have in the kitchen or anything that could give nutrition to the growing saplings, she would take it and put it in that pot. She grew a variety of different plants ranging from tomato seed to tomato plants to beans to various different spices as well. She would also grow a lot of plants with different different flowers. So my balcony would always have a flower blooming, sometimes it would be rose, other times it would be dahlia. So that aspect was also really pretty. She would generally grow it in our backyard but sometimes she would also go to the park and plant a tree and she would take care of the tree. A lot of her plants have grown on to become trees and I am very satisfied whenever I look at them because it's all her hard work paying off.

When I heard the question, describe a person who likes to grow plants, the first person that appeared to me is a farmer. And my grandfather being a farmer, I know how passionate he is about growing the plants and trees in his own fields. It is not just his livelihood, it's not just for his living, but also it's the kind of love he has towards that agriculture and growing the plants and trees, which made me think him as a person who is giving a lot to the country and to the world. I believe someone who grows plants and someone who grows trees are the people who deserves much more respect than what they are deserving now. Though they are doing it for their living, but it is something which is keeping us all alive. Our basic need for food is being fulfilled just because of them.

Other neem trees are used for good environment and refreshing. When he goes there, he feels refreshing. He sits under the tree, plants and sometimes goes to sleep. So, I have encountered with many people who grow flowers or plants in their home. But the one person who is most nearest and dearest to me and who likes, not even likes, loves to grow plants is my father only. I have observed him very nearly. Whenever he feels sad or he can't organize his thoughts or he don't know what to do, he just goes to his plants or he just grows new plants or spend time with his plants and get his thoughts organized and bring some calmness to his thoughts or his overworking mind. Mainly he grows flowers only because I asked him once why he grows mainly flowers. He said he feels very happy and satisfied when he sees his hard work blooming into a flower giving such a beautiful reward. He grows it mainly on our house terrace or in the balconies. So, he says whenever you don't know what to do, you just spend time with your plants and they would be a great friend to you if you spend time with them. And he also likes not only flowers only, he also sometimes grows some mint plants so that it can be used for our home also. So, I think I got inspired from him. I also help him. When he grows plants, we go a far distance to buy manure for the plants because in a city it's not available. He wants a particular quality and a brand that is not available in a city. So, he goes a very 20 km far and gets from there and I also accompany him in that.
