Last weekend, my friends and I gathered for one of the most memorable dinners we had in a long time. The atmosphere was filled with laughter, inside jokes, and the kind of conversations that only happen when we are completely comfortable with each other. The table was set beautifully, and the aroma of the freshly cooked dishes instantly made us hungrier. We shared plates of delicious food. Everyone had their favorites, from spicy starters to warm, comforting main courses. What made it even more special was that we kept passing dishes around, making sure no one missed out on tasting anything. Along with the food, there were glasses clinking and endless chatter about college memories, future plans, and random funny stories. What stood out wasn't just the meal itself, but the feeling that surrounded it. The laughter was so loud at that time that people at nearby tables tended to smile at us. By the end of the evening, none of us wanted to leave. We sat there, enjoying the last bites of dessert, and promising that we'd make dinners like this tradition. It wasn't just dinner, it was a reminder of how good life feels when shared with the right people.

That's an interesting question. For me, dinner, I don't know how to say, it's like a dream come true. Because I live in another location, my brother lives in another location, so we are like, we usually have dinners on our own locations. But recently, it was like a family get-together, so we all went there and had a dinner. It was awesome and one of my heartfelt moments, like meeting all the family members and having dinner. It is not like we went to the restaurant and having a dinner, it's just home. We were preparing food as well as eating. So it is like...

One of the best dinners I've had was recently at my best friend's birthday. So we thought we can make that like a potluck party before the birthday celebration started. So my best friend's birthday was on September 12th. On September 11th, all of us gathered in her house with a dish made on our own. So all our friends from childhood, we made one dish of our choice and we took it to her house and her family was supposed to decide who cooks the best. And at every dish, their family had to tell a specific story they could relate to. And we had a lot of laughter, fun, listening to all their beautiful stories of their young times and enjoying our food. Not everyone was perfect with what they did, but everyone made an attempt to make a food that was very tasty and very beautiful. I think that was one of the most beautiful evenings that I've ever had. Apart from that, we also played games on the dinner table. It was just like sentence building, one person tells a sentence and the next person continues. And we ended up making a whole story that led to a lot of laughter and fun. This dinner will be something that I will cherish for a lifetime. And in future, we look forward to having more dinners like that.

So, I want to tell you about an interesting dinner I had. The dish I had was called Biryani. I had it about 2 years ago in this beautiful place called Hyderabad. I was visiting Hyderabad for the first time, we were travelling around the cities of Chamina and we found this hotel called Shara. They said it was very famous over there and we decided to give it a try. When we sat down in the restaurant and there was a waiter giving us the menu and telling us the specials. After looking at it, I decided it was the go-to thing, I have to order it. And then, the Biryani arrived. At the first moment when I saw it, it was presented very well. There was this rice with spices on it, there were onions and coriander alongside the chicken. When I first gave it a try, my mouth exploded. The flavours were very rich and complex and the spices were neutralising with the curd. Since the last visit, I have decided I have to try this food again. I would say this particular dish is famous of Hyderabad. I think it is celebrated along with the culture of Hyderabad.

A great dinner for me and my family members was when it was my brother's birthday. He was turning 18 years old at that time and all of my family were present. Because in India 18th birthday is seen as a major transition from a child to an adult. So whenever we celebrate an 18th birthday we always try to make it as grand as possible. Similarly my brother also had a very big celebration for his 18th birthday. We all went to a very fancy and nice restaurant that was 15 minutes away from my house. At that point my brother had also gotten accepted to a university in Canada and he was moving away. So my parents were super proud of him and the dinner was in celebration of both his birthday and him getting into college. We ate a lot of food that day but one food that I still remember is biryani. I have never been a very big fan of rice but biryani was something that made me fall in love with rice. It is made with rice, chicken and seasoning and it tasted so delicious to me that I practically begged my mother to take me to that restaurant every year on my birthday. My family and I we all thoroughly enjoyed that dinner and at that moment I was very content and happy because of the food and the celebration both.

When I was a kid, I had a little pencil box which had these four buttons which gave the pencil box an operative use. When you press the button, the box would open up. When you press the second button, a little part of it would slide out. Basically it was just a little electronical and a fun thing to have and I owned it when I was in 6th. One day after break, I was standing and talking there with one of my friends and another friend of mine was running through the hallway and accidentally she pushed my shoulder and my pencil box hit the ground and it broke into multiple pieces to the point that it was not functional anymore.

It Ends With Us is a book I read recently. It's by the author Colleen Hoare. It's mainly a story about two teenagers, Atlas and Lily, and how they just handle their life going through high school, adolescence, and just domestic violence at home. Both of them come from very, very different families. However, they have one common determining factor between them, which is domestic violence. The abuse that they've seen their moms go through is just insane, and they connect through that on a different level. They're actually in the same high school, but they never speak to each other until Atlas actually crashes into an empty house next to Lily's villa. When Atlas is homeless and he doesn't have anywhere to go, he just comes and breaks into the house next to Lily's, and Lily helps him with all the daily necessities like clothes and food, medicines and stuff. Furthermore, their friendship blossoms into love, but it doesn't really fructify as Atlas has to leave. This book really gave me a lot of knowledge about domestic abuse and how to deal with it.

During Diwali, on the occasion of Lakshmi Poojan, my family and I visited this restaurant called the Plaba All Day Dining, which is near to my house. We went there for dinner, where we were seated in the middle of the space, which had a huge chandelier right above us. We ordered lots of delicious things from appetizers to main course and especially the dessert. I was in charge of ordering food for everyone since I had been here before and it was my recommendation that we come here for dinner. Also, it was my treat. During appetizers, we had lots of new dishes from paneer tikkas to...

One of the most memorable dinners I have had was a family dinner we enjoyed at home a few months before I completed my law degree. It was not a fancy restaurant or a big celebration, it was simply an evening where everyone happened to be relaxed, free and genuinely present, which is quite rare. We cooked together which made the evening feel even more special. My father prepared his signature dishes and I helped him with the starters while talking about my plans for higher studies abroad. The atmosphere felt warm and light and our parrots and sparrow kept chirping in the background with something very typical in my house and as a homely hum. What made that dinner truly great was the kind of conversation we had. My parents shared stories from their youth and we spoke openly about my career goals in corporate law and governance. They were excited, a little emotional and extremely supportive and that meant a lot to me as I was stepping into a new phase of my life. We did not do anything which was high-fi, we just laughed, ate good food and sat together long after dinner was over. It felt like one of those rare moments where everything slows down and you realise how comforting family can be. Even now that dinner stands out in my mind because it reminded me of what home truly feels like. All the warmth, support and the simple joy of being surrounded by all the people who genuinely care, love and show affection for you.

The most unforgettable dinner I shared with friends occurred last December at a quaint rooftop restaurant that offered a stunning view of the city. To start with, there were six of us, all long-time university friends, and the ambience was immediately welcoming with warm lighting, soft music and an engaging conversation creating the perfect atmosphere. We kicked off the meal with a lavish selection of appetizers, fragrant dumplings, a zesty cabbage and a dinner platter of tapas that catered to every taste. Additionally, the main dishes were outstanding. I opted for a slow braised lamb shank and served in a rich and velvety sauce, while others enjoyed a delicate seafood risotto that was bursting with briny flavors. What truly made the evening memorable was not just the food but the companionship between courses. We exchanged stories, laughed until we were in stitches, and savored the desert as if time had come to a standstill. The desert, a deconstructed chocolate tart with a touch of sea salt, was simply divine and elicited appreciative murmurs around the table. Moreover, the service was unobtrusive yet attentive, which elevated the overall dining experience without being intrusive. Looking back, that dinner is remarkable because it blended outside cuisine with an authentic camp camaraderie. It felt like a personal celebration of friendship and fine dining, leaving me with a lasting sense of satisfaction and warm nostalgia.

The other day, we had a great dinner at a restaurant called Tandoor Palace in Calicut. I had gone there with my parents. We opted for the traditional Indian meals. It mainly comprised of rice and some very simple curry. However, the taste was simply amazing. The decor of the place, the food, as well as the ambience was just mind-blowing. I think this is one memory that me and my parents would cherish for the coming years.

One of the most recent dinner that I had with my family was on the occasion of the arrival of my aunt from the USA. My aunt was here to visit India for just a few days and she visited our home for a couple of days and on the last day we decided on going out to have a dinner together. So we, my family including myself, my dad and mom and my little sister along with my aunt we all went to a club that is, my dad is a member of that club actually, it's called King's Club. So King's Club has a lot of restaurants and we went to one of those restaurants which is a rooftop restaurant to have our dinner. We chose a rooftop restaurant mainly because it was quite a pleasant weather that day and we wanted something airy and a lot spacious than being stuck within four walls in a normal restaurant in the floors below. So we are usually a regular customer in the club so we were welcomed with a warm greeting by the head of the, the manager actually and we were led to our seats and as we ordered our food items we just spoke about a lot of things about her kids, that is my cousins and how they're doing, what they've been up to at school and how's life, how life has

One of the most memorable dinners I have enjoyed with my family was an authentic Indian dinner at home, which my mother prepared to celebrate Diwali last year. The atmosphere was incredibly festive, with the aroma of spices filling the air, and the entire house beautifully decorated with diyas and trombones. It was not just a meal, but a celebration of traditions, cultures, and family togetherness. The table was lain with the various dishes, each representing a different part of India. There was buttery paneer masala, aromatic biryani, crisp samosa, and freshly made naan. What I particularly loved was the dessert section, gulab jamun and kaju katli, which was perfectly sweet and rich. While the food itself was absolutely delicious, what made the dinner truly special was the way we all sat together, shared stories, and laughed out over the old memories. It wasn't just about satisfying our hungers, but also about enjoying the joy of being together. Everyone in the family contributed in some way. My mother cooked the majority of dishes, my father helped with arranging the dining area, even my younger siblings helped me in the setting of the sofas and serving drinks. These collective efforts made the dinner feel personal and heartfelt, adding to the overall warmth of the evening. Overall, the dinner remains enchanted with my memories because it combined incredible flavors of love, laughter, and tradition. It reminded me that Indian meals are not merely about eating, but about celebrating culture and spending quality time with loved ones.

Last Christmas I had a great dinner with my friends and family. We all got together and set up a bonfire and also set up a barbecue. For dinner we had a lot of my friends over including my girlfriend and a few family friends. And we had a very good time. For the food part we had prepared grilled chicken, rice and some snacks for the after party. And my girlfriend also prepared cocktails for everyone in the party. It was a great time for the both of us because we finally got to spend some time together after being away for two years. And we had all our near and dear ones attend the party. My parents also had a very good time at the party because they had their relatives over. And we all played some music and had a jovial time.

Last year, I had a great dinner with my family. I had this dinner with my maternal family at their house. All my family, my uncle, my aunts, and their kids, everyone was present at that dinner. The menu for the dinner was quesadilla, it's a Mexican dish. My aunt, my maternal aunt made that dish from beans, kidney beans. I particularly loved this family gathering because everybody was there, everybody was laughing, sharing food. This was a very wholesome experience. I felt very connected towards them. Additionally, the food was also great. The quesadilla was crisp, cheesy, and filled with filling of rice bean and cheese and other vegetables. It was very mouth-watering. The dinner ended with a dessert made by my aunt at home. It was a muffin, a chocolate muffin, again filled with chocolate sauce. The muffin was crisp, the muffin was perfectly baked, and very yummy and fluffy. So this was the dinner which I had with my family, which was very memorable and I would definitely like to relive this moment.
