Show all 54 answers

Cue 1:Introduction

  • Begin by introducing the chocolate you didn't like, mentioning its name and brand.
  • Provide a brief context about when and where you tried it.

Example

I want to talk about a chocolate bar called 'Bitter Delight' that I tried last year at a local store. I was curious about it because it was marketed as a premium dark chocolate, and I had heard mixed reviews from friends.

Cue 2:What was it?

  • Describe the appearance and packaging of the chocolate to give a visual context.
  • Mention any specific ingredients that stood out to you.

Example

The chocolate came in a sleek black wrapper with gold lettering, which made it look very appealing. It was made with 85% cocoa, and I was excited to try it because I usually enjoy dark chocolate.

Cue 3:What did it taste like?

  • Share your first impressions of the taste when you took a bite.
  • Include details about the texture and any flavors that were prominent.

Example

When I took a bite, the texture was quite smooth, but the taste was overwhelmingly bitter. It had a strong cocoa flavor that was almost too intense for my palate, and there were no hints of sweetness to balance it out.

Cue 4:And explain why you didn’t like it.

  • Discuss your personal preferences regarding chocolate and how this one did not meet them.
  • Mention any specific reasons, such as the bitterness or lack of flavor variety.

Example

I didn't like it mainly because I prefer chocolates that have a balance of sweetness and richness. The bitterness was just too much for me, and I felt it lacked the creamy texture that I enjoy in chocolates. It left a dry aftertaste that I found unpleasant.

Conclusion

    Example

In conclusion, while 'Bitter Delight' may appeal to some dark chocolate lovers, it certainly wasn't for me. I learned that not all chocolates are created equal, and I will stick to brands that offer a more balanced flavor profile in the future.

When I was a kid, I had a little pencil box which had these four buttons which gave the pencil box an operative use. When you press the button, the box would open up. When you press the second button, a little part of it would slide out. Basically it was just a little electronical and a fun thing to have and I owned it when I was in 6th. One day after break, I was standing and talking there with one of my friends and another friend of mine was running through the hallway and accidentally she pushed my shoulder and my pencil box hit the ground and it broke into multiple pieces to the point that it was not functional anymore.

It Ends With Us is a book I read recently. It's by the author Colleen Hoare. It's mainly a story about two teenagers, Atlas and Lily, and how they just handle their life going through high school, adolescence, and just domestic violence at home. Both of them come from very, very different families. However, they have one common determining factor between them, which is domestic violence. The abuse that they've seen their moms go through is just insane, and they connect through that on a different level. They're actually in the same high school, but they never speak to each other until Atlas actually crashes into an empty house next to Lily's villa. When Atlas is homeless and he doesn't have anywhere to go, he just comes and breaks into the house next to Lily's, and Lily helps him with all the daily necessities like clothes and food, medicines and stuff. Furthermore, their friendship blossoms into love, but it doesn't really fructify as Atlas has to leave. This book really gave me a lot of knowledge about domestic abuse and how to deal with it.

so basically to be honest I'm not a big fan of a chocolate or sweet sweet items but in in a birthday party there was a stall where I have there were many types of chocolates and first time in my life I have tried what we say black chocolate and I don't like it because it is taste like very bitter and have a smell like cocoa powder and from that only I don't like the chocolates

    Band 6-7

I recently ate a chocolate which was called as Bounty. I absolutely hated it. I just did not like it because it tastes really weird. The composition was such that it had a very nutty flavor and on the top of the nuts it was covered by a coconut layer which was finally covered by the chocolate layer. I think I did not like the chocolate because it was really the opposite of what I usually prefer in my chocolates. The coconuty flavor, the coconuts that was in the composition of the chocolate, it was really overpowering the chocolate making it almost taste like nothing actually. It was extremely bitter. It did not taste like how a chocolate should be tasted. It was extremely boring and my taste buds were absolutely not happy. I prefer chocolates that are mostly gooey and very chocolatey that have dry fruits in them which makes it more interesting for a chocolate to be eaten and my favorite chocolate is definitely 5 star. The second is

To be very honest, I am not a big fan of chocolates, however, many times I have got chocolates as gift from my siblings, from my cousins and friends. So, the major thing which I don't prefer in chocolates is, I don't have a sweet tooth, I believe that's the reason I don't like it, but to be precise, recently I tasted a dark chocolate that was given by my colleague and I thought let's give it a try and when I tried it, I felt a very bitter taste which diverted my mood all of a sudden from good to worst, so I did not like the bitter taste and the taste was in my mouth for very pretty long time. I tried to have milk, I tried having a sip of water, but it did not help me and I asked my colleague not to give me the dark chocolate again, ever, because that's the worst taste I ever had. Usually people prefer having dark chocolates for maintaining their blood pressure, I guess, but I always heard all the celebrities having dark chocolate. I wanted to give it a try, but it...

A chocolate I didn't like. Chocolate, the word itself brings to mind fond memories where I feel very young, very like a child and I remember in the past I loved chocolates. As a small kid I would run to my mama's bag and I would try to search if she had any chocolates. She was a school teacher, so if they had a birthday celebration or they had a gathering and chocolates were given, she would make it a point, put it in her bag and get it for me. So I would run around as soon as she reached home to check her bag for chocolates. And the milk chocolates were something that I loved, the white chocolates. Once I was given the dark chocolate which had a higher concentration of cocoa in it. When I tasted this dark chocolate, it was very bitter in my mouth and I thought to myself, this is not chocolate that I love. I love the silky smooth white chocolate or even the sweet ones. But this was the dark chocolate and it was really very bitter for me. Later on my others also told me, my mother also told me that the dark chocolate is very good for the heart, it's very good for health and it does not increase the sugar level. So it is really good for a person. But the taste of the mouth, the aroma, the essence of chocolate itself is defined by white chocolate and not the dark chocolate. But in future, I hope that I give much preference or I make it of my taste, the dark chocolate, so that I can be a little healthier, I can be a little more good to life.

    Band 6-7

I am a person who loves chocolate but only dark chocolate. I used to consume normal chocolate with sugar but now I only consume dark chocolate with less sugar or no sugar because I followed my nutrition diet for losing weight so I avoided sugar and now it's my habit to not taking sugar in anything. Here I would like to talk about a particular chocolate which I didn't like that is my chocolate from Thailand. Last month my brother visited Thailand and he brought so many chocolates from Thailand for the whole family. Last Sunday he came to my home and gifted me those chocolates. I didn't deny to receive the chocolates but when I tried to consume it, it was very bad in taste. I have never tasted, I have never eaten it before.

    Band 6-7

So to talk about chocolate, certainly I like all version of it and every varieties of taste but some of chocolate which I don't like is bitter taste chocolate which combined of sourness also. I avoid eating sour bitter taste chocolate like chupa chups which makes me to feel more tangy and also disturbs the mood of eating chocolate. The one which I don't like at all is sour taste chupa chups which also takes more time to melt and that tanginess and sourness will make my tongue to become numb for sometime. And also more artificial colors are added in it. After eating it changes the color of my whole tongue which I feel not healthier at all. Moreover I am a chocolate lover but this type of chocolate or taste of chocolate I never wish to have. The only time I had it was during my school days when one of my friend gave this as a gift after her father returns from abroad. Other than this I like all type of chocolates especially dark chocolates which also has good benefits in health.

    Band 6-7

I would like to describe a piece of chocolate that I hate. I usually prefer having chocolates every weekdays. However, I found it very intimidating when I get dark chocolate. I feel it has a bitter taste which is not acceptable to me. I love chocolates. For instance, I like milk chocolates and white chocolates. Even during my sickness, I usually have a piece of chocolate because I wish to have something sweet when I am not fine. However, this dark chocolate does not give me the effect that I get from having a milk chocolate. I usually get chocolate as gifts from my family or friends and I always always tell them not to give me dark chocolate. I don't like it. I do get some dark chocolates as gifts which I do not prefer and I end up sharing it with my brother. Actually, my brother loves to have dark chocolate. So, he wants everyone to give me dark chocolate so that I give it to him. But I also try to make new dishes with dark chocolate because that's the only way I could eat it.

    Band 6

The chocolate which I don't like is dark chocolate, basically. The basic dark chocolate, whichever it takes, it is not flavored and it is like a very bitter in taste. So the most unflavored chocolate which I have tasted is Temptations. Temptations is the chocolate which is rich in dark chocolate flavor and which is not at all my type of chocolate and I don't like that chocolate because my palates and my flavor and my kind of chocolates are little bit sweet, little bit crunchy, little bit of nutty types but this chocolate is pure rich in dark chocolate and which is very much bitter in taste. So this is not my type of chocolate and I don't like this chocolate. Thank you.

a chocolate I didn't like to eat is dark chocolate. Earlier days everyday I used to eat dark chocolate. I tried this dark chocolate in Ooty for the first time. I ate a cake which is made of full of dark chocolate and from that day time onwards I would love to eat dark chocolate. But currently I don't like to eat dark chocolate. The reason behind that is I used to eat, I used to bake brownie. Earlier days I used to bake brownie. I use dark chocolate for baking brownie and the taste has come out very well. When I was pregnant, when I was pregnant I usually ate the dark, as usual I ate the dark chocolate and from that day I feel like vomiting and I took a vomit. After that I never eat dark chocolate. From that day onwards I don't like to eat dark chocolate and it's a little bitter taste. That's all.

    Band 6

Everyone likes chocolate but not always the chocolate that you eat will give you a soothing effect. I am a very big fan of chocolate but recently when I had a chance to eat a kind of chocolate I felt very disappointed. Error is that it was it contained high amount of sugar which affected the content of cocoa in the chocolate which is why I did not like that chocolate very much. Normally the chocolate I love contain more cocoa percentage than any sugar or vegetable oil but the recent chocolate that I ate actually contained much amount of vegetable oil which caused a wax coating on my tongue and my mouth as well as it contained more amount of sugar than necessary so I did not like that
