Show all 54 answers

Cue 1:Introduction

  • Begin by introducing the chocolate you didn't like, mentioning its name and brand.
  • Provide a brief context about when and where you tried it.

Example

I want to talk about a chocolate bar called 'Bitter Delight' that I tried last year at a local store. I was curious about it because it was marketed as a premium dark chocolate, and I had heard mixed reviews from friends.

Cue 2:What was it?

  • Describe the appearance and packaging of the chocolate to give a visual context.
  • Mention any specific ingredients that stood out to you.

Example

The chocolate came in a sleek black wrapper with gold lettering, which made it look very appealing. It was made with 85% cocoa, and I was excited to try it because I usually enjoy dark chocolate.

Cue 3:What did it taste like?

  • Share your first impressions of the taste when you took a bite.
  • Include details about the texture and any flavors that were prominent.

Example

When I took a bite, the texture was quite smooth, but the taste was overwhelmingly bitter. It had a strong cocoa flavor that was almost too intense for my palate, and there were no hints of sweetness to balance it out.

Cue 4:And explain why you didn’t like it.

  • Discuss your personal preferences regarding chocolate and how this one did not meet them.
  • Mention any specific reasons, such as the bitterness or lack of flavor variety.

Example

I didn't like it mainly because I prefer chocolates that have a balance of sweetness and richness. The bitterness was just too much for me, and I felt it lacked the creamy texture that I enjoy in chocolates. It left a dry aftertaste that I found unpleasant.

Conclusion

    Example

In conclusion, while 'Bitter Delight' may appeal to some dark chocolate lovers, it certainly wasn't for me. I learned that not all chocolates are created equal, and I will stick to brands that offer a more balanced flavor profile in the future.

When I was a kid, I had a little pencil box which had these four buttons which gave the pencil box an operative use. When you press the button, the box would open up. When you press the second button, a little part of it would slide out. Basically it was just a little electronical and a fun thing to have and I owned it when I was in 6th. One day after break, I was standing and talking there with one of my friends and another friend of mine was running through the hallway and accidentally she pushed my shoulder and my pencil box hit the ground and it broke into multiple pieces to the point that it was not functional anymore.

It Ends With Us is a book I read recently. It's by the author Colleen Hoare. It's mainly a story about two teenagers, Atlas and Lily, and how they just handle their life going through high school, adolescence, and just domestic violence at home. Both of them come from very, very different families. However, they have one common determining factor between them, which is domestic violence. The abuse that they've seen their moms go through is just insane, and they connect through that on a different level. They're actually in the same high school, but they never speak to each other until Atlas actually crashes into an empty house next to Lily's villa. When Atlas is homeless and he doesn't have anywhere to go, he just comes and breaks into the house next to Lily's, and Lily helps him with all the daily necessities like clothes and food, medicines and stuff. Furthermore, their friendship blossoms into love, but it doesn't really fructify as Atlas has to leave. This book really gave me a lot of knowledge about domestic abuse and how to deal with it.

Every bite I take, describe a chocolate you didn't like. I didn't like Cherry Milk Fruity Nut. Before I go to that, I would say chocolates are actually the most presentable gift to a person, to a friend on a special occasion. So chocolates are really close to heart kind of a gift for a person or your loved ones. And the chocolate that I didn't like was Dairy Milk Fruity Nut because there are a lot of nuts to it and every bite has a nut. Some people do like it, I don't like it. We have different preferences and choices, but I didn't like it from my perspective because there are a lot of nuts that get into your mouth and there's a lot of disturbance when you eat. I prefer a plain dairy milk chocolate than this.

    Band 6

This was a difficult cue card I have ever seen, describe a chocolate you didn't like. I think everyone likes chocolate, especially white chocolate, dark chocolate etc. But in my case, I don't prefer dark chocolate. I don't know why I don't like that one. Because in dark chocolate, it's always a bitterness in that. So I don't prefer dark chocolate. However, I like, I more like, however I like white chocolate instead of other chocolates. I always prefer white chocolate with nuts, dry fruits etc. It tastes good actually.

    Band 6

I like various items in food. I am a sweet tooth person or foodie also but today here chocolate I don't like that is dark chocolate even though I like all the chocolates like dairy milk, silk, Cadbury, munch, wafers all these I like all them all but the dark chocolate is not of my taste it is very bitter for a taste and I don't think it gives you a better taste I think some people I think some masses prefer dark chocolate I don't know why but personally I think its taste was very bitter you cannot eat it like you are enjoying while eating it in contrast to that white chocolate that is milk white chocolate is my favorite and upon eating the white chocolate I I feel like I'm a dog with two tails but the dark chocolate it makes my blood boil I feel very bitter once a time my friend give me the dark chocolate as a gift to my birthday and I think it was the better or worse gift that I have ever received from someone and the chocolate was very expensive dark chocolate was the larger version of the chocolate but I didn't like it just I just tasted one bite and give it to all my other friends to taste and do whatever they want so this is the chocolate that I don't like I think some people are there who like to eat dark chocolate rather than others I and some of them even find that it is a luxury item or delicious item to eat so

    Band 6

Generally, I like chocolates very much but this particular chocolate Milky Bar, I don't like because it is too much flavoured of milk and too sweet, I don't like over-sweet chocolates. I do like chocolates but which are very light, very normal sugar, Milky Bar chocolates makes me more sweet, my taste buds completely goes wrong, so that's why I don't like Milky Bar chocolates but normally, I do like the chocolates apart from this particular chocolate, this is the reason why I don't like, other than this, I like all the chocolates, I also don't like milk flavour, basic thing why I don't like it because of the milk content, I don't like milk, that's the reason I don't like this, I think, I stopped eating this Milky Bar chocolates from my 10th standard because of this.

    Band 6

Actually, I am not a big fan of chocolates. I do enjoy eating it, but I am not a big fan of it. Last week, during a day out with my friends, they forced me to eat a chocolate, which was a dark chocolate. I thought it would be sweet, but when I ate it, it was literally terrible, because I didn't like the flavour. As it was a dark chocolate, it was a bit bitter. It tasted like a coffee bean. The reason that I hated it was, I don't like eating or drinking coffee items too. So, I immediately stopped trying that thing. Since then, I didn't like eating chocolates, and I literally avoid dark chocolates at any cost.

    Band 6

The chocolate I didn't like to eat is Snickers. It's not because of its type or taste. It's just because I'm allergic to peanuts and contain a lot of peanuts in it. And the chocolate is very small in size and it is a lot of peanut type. I often see advertisement in Snickers like if you're hungry you have to eat a lot of Snickers and your hunger will go. Basically I don't believe that because I think chocolate is a common snack which we all eat. So I don't think if we eat Snickers our hunger will go away and I always like to have something common and that's the main reason I don't like Snickers as a chocolate I like to eat.

So, I remember 3-4 months back, I was talking to my one of the friend who is living in UK right now and he went there for pursuing Masters. So we are really close friends, so one day we were just talking on call and he told me Bhavika, here are chocolates really famous, if you want chocolates then I will bring it for you. I said him that I am not that much sweet lover, so I will like if you take dark chocolate for me and as I am a dark chocolate lover, so I told him to bring dark chocolate for me. So, he bought me dark chocolates, different type of dark chocolates out of which one were 75% dark and one were 50% dark. When he gave me a chocolate, first I opened a packet of 50% dark chocolate that was really good and when I tried having 75% dark chocolate, I just spiked the chocolate when it went inside my mouth and it was unable to edible, means that was totally unedible chocolate, so I didn't like the taste at all, it was bitter and again I will never try the chocolate and the whole chocolate I threw in a garbage and I felt very bad that with a lot of emotion and love he bought me a chocolate and I was unable to eat that, so that was my experience about the chocolate.

    Band 6

I will be talking about the chocolate I didn't like it's a five-star chocolate which is very common in India and it is very cheap as well in terms of costing so in any occasion or any event or even on birthdays or any national celebrations the organizations or be it neighbors just share five-star so this makes it very common in India and the the thing I don't like about it is that it is very sweet it tastes very very sweet means whenever like I take first bite I will not feel like taking the second bite of the bar so that's what I don't like about the chocolate and also it has a lot of caramel in it and which makes it very sticky and it gets like sticky in the teeth and on the gums and like more of the chocolate gets stuck and then my tongue just tries to remove it so the whole process it's very irritating and I had a very bad experience eating a five-star chocolate and though it's very sweet and it's very sticky so I don't like eating it again and I will not be sharing it with anybody like or giving it anybody as a treat because I don't like so I do I feel that other people will also

    Band 6

I didn't like the chocolates, the dark chocolates. Basically, I like the chocolates, but I don't like the dark chocolates because it's very salt in taste, so that's why. I don't like the dark chocolates. So, Dairy Milk, Tom's, Mildew Barber is one of my favourites. Other than dark chocolates. I don't like the dark chocolates.

    Band 6

In my country, chocolate is gaining popularity day by day. There are various brands rising such as the dairy milk, milky bar which is becoming very popular in my country. And people of various age prefer to have the chocolate for the betterment. Today I want to describe about a situation where I feel I have not purchased the chocolate up to the mark as I have very good taste of the chocolate. I remember I went to the Haldiram for my dinners with my colleague and after finishing my lunch, we both decided to have a chocolate. And there are plenty of chocolate available over there. And we decided to have a dark chocolate with the almonds. And after the opening of the packet, I have a first bite. And it does not taste up to the mark according to me. And I have suggested my friend to taste too. But she also said that it is not good in taste.
