When I was a kid, I had a little pencil box which had these four buttons which gave the pencil box an operative use. When you press the button, the box would open up. When you press the second button, a little part of it would slide out. Basically it was just a little electronical and a fun thing to have and I owned it when I was in 6th. One day after break, I was standing and talking there with one of my friends and another friend of mine was running through the hallway and accidentally she pushed my shoulder and my pencil box hit the ground and it broke into multiple pieces to the point that it was not functional anymore.

It Ends With Us is a book I read recently. It's by the author Colleen Hoare. It's mainly a story about two teenagers, Atlas and Lily, and how they just handle their life going through high school, adolescence, and just domestic violence at home. Both of them come from very, very different families. However, they have one common determining factor between them, which is domestic violence. The abuse that they've seen their moms go through is just insane, and they connect through that on a different level. They're actually in the same high school, but they never speak to each other until Atlas actually crashes into an empty house next to Lily's villa. When Atlas is homeless and he doesn't have anywhere to go, he just comes and breaks into the house next to Lily's, and Lily helps him with all the daily necessities like clothes and food, medicines and stuff. Furthermore, their friendship blossoms into love, but it doesn't really fructify as Atlas has to leave. This book really gave me a lot of knowledge about domestic abuse and how to deal with it.

My favorite place in my house where I can relax is the house rooftop, where it is nearer of a wheat field and it is open to air where the air comes to the face and also I can sit there and I can hear the songs and I can play anything. Then why it is because it is bigger than the environmental code, it is too big where I can sit, there also I have a cushion seat where I can sit there by using my phone or by using my laptop and it is open thing where I can watch the birds flying and aeroplanes and also I can see the sunset and the beautiful clouds with many color shades like blue, white or pinkish color during the sunset time and the rooftop is covered half by sheet and half is open to the sky and like why it is, it is very biggest one and it is higher, I can watch everything from the rooftop so I am able to relax.

So my favourite place in my apartment will obviously be my hall. There is a place near window which was earlier a balcony and then after construction we converted that into a bedroom. So it's a small room in which there is a space to dance and also there is a keyboard on the left hand side of the corner. I love spending time there because I can dance, I can sing, I can scream and I can do a lot of things which I enjoy in my life. I feel secure as it's my personal space. Moreover I love sitting there for long and long time. Also I forget everything what happened in my life or my day if it's going bad, it's not good. I just sit in that room, I feel calm when everything else is messed up but that room gives me a sense of tranquility, a sense of peace. Everytime when I am happy or I am sad or something I like to do, I do it in that room. Even if I am celebrating my birthday, I like to sit in that room and talk to my friends, my family and a lot more people. I love that room because it has influenced me in a lot of ways and I will love enjoying time in that room.

    Band 6-7

My favorite place in my house is the sofa corner. I like to relax and even sleep on that corner because I get the relaxed sleep there. And I feel that's most peaceful place to be. And yeah, my dog is around, it is near, it is not too high, the sofa level is not too high, it is a bit grounded, it is like around the knee level. I don't know what has just attached me but out of all the beds and every furniture, piece of furniture we have, I like the sofa corner the most.

    Band 6-7

So basically the most relaxing place in my house is my own room which is located at the top floor with a balcony. Basically I am a seafarer and I spend most of my time at sea so after finishing my contract when I came back to my home every time I just wanted to stay in my room and play some ukulele or listen to some music. Most of the time I love to play music and listen because I am a musician so my room feels so relaxing and it's so peaceful because there's no noise, no such distractions so I can focus totally on my music and my songs.

    Band 6-7

If I have to talk about a favourite place of my house where I can relax calmly, it would definitely be the window side of my room, of my bedroom. It's an amazing place to be there for hours, being relaxed, keeping your legs stretched on the armchair, enjoying the view outside, the chaos of the roads, or maybe the blue sky with cotton candy clouds, birds chirping on the branches of trees, or in the rainy season when water droplets fall on your window pane. It's a feast for your eyes and for your mind, quite peaceful at times, or very much enjoyable, serene at night. In the evenings, when the sun sets, it feels just like the seashore, like the sunset at the seashore, or maybe at early mornings when I get up. It is so much enjoyable, calm breeze blowing your hair, it's definitely a best place to be.

    Band 6-7

My favorite place in our house would be definitely my room. Because it's designed to be a very calm weather using colors like beige, white, little gold and baby pink. So it's very relaxing. It has a couch under my window and that would be my favorite spot to read, to study, to look out the windows, see some birds and just be relaxed and think more about what I want to do in this day.

My favorite place in my house is the small temple which my mom has built. It is like a dream place. I always used to visit my mom. Days were bad. It was cold. All my friends used to play with me. It is having a kind of comfort which I never really see on TV. The much I receive from God, I understand it better. A lot of God in that small little temple has helped me come out through my baddest moments in life. The most comforting place and the place where I can actually relax in my house is the small temple in the Pooja room of my house. It is made up in bright red colored paint on a wooden stack. An idol of God is kept there. Ganeshji, Durga Mata and a lot more. It is much more important to me than anything else in the world because I don't feel peace anywhere except that particular place. It is not about God but it is about the peace I feel with the connection I have with God. It is a complicated feeling which is difficult to explain but I may have inherited this from my mom. My mom used to love that place and I now love that place. It is quite generational I guess. My mom's mom and my mom's dad also used to love that place. So it is not just me who loves that place but it is the DNA which has been shared.
