When I was a kid, I had a little pencil box which had these four buttons which gave the pencil box an operative use. When you press the button, the box would open up. When you press the second button, a little part of it would slide out. Basically it was just a little electronical and a fun thing to have and I owned it when I was in 6th. One day after break, I was standing and talking there with one of my friends and another friend of mine was running through the hallway and accidentally she pushed my shoulder and my pencil box hit the ground and it broke into multiple pieces to the point that it was not functional anymore.

It Ends With Us is a book I read recently. It's by the author Colleen Hoare. It's mainly a story about two teenagers, Atlas and Lily, and how they just handle their life going through high school, adolescence, and just domestic violence at home. Both of them come from very, very different families. However, they have one common determining factor between them, which is domestic violence. The abuse that they've seen their moms go through is just insane, and they connect through that on a different level. They're actually in the same high school, but they never speak to each other until Atlas actually crashes into an empty house next to Lily's villa. When Atlas is homeless and he doesn't have anywhere to go, he just comes and breaks into the house next to Lily's, and Lily helps him with all the daily necessities like clothes and food, medicines and stuff. Furthermore, their friendship blossoms into love, but it doesn't really fructify as Atlas has to leave. This book really gave me a lot of knowledge about domestic abuse and how to deal with it.

People have different comfort zones and places that they can relax, but my personal favourite place that I can relax at my home would be my bedroom. The comfort of the bed, the cosy pillows and the really warm but still heavy rug that I have really makes me fall asleep instantly. I also have a lot of plushies on my bed and I love hugging them as they give me a sense of comfort. It's very thrilling and it's very exciting when I realise I can finally go to bed and sleep. I always look forward to going to my bed and sleeping, so that's the place I love to relax the most in my house.

    Band 7

A favorite place in my house where I can relax is my balcony. It is decorated with wooden furniture and tea dining sets, which has a set of chairs with a very pretty table. I've grown a few plants by myself in the balcony, which also bear fruits and vegetables. I grow vegetables such as tomatoes, green chillies, spring onion, which are also helpful in kitchen. I also tried to grow strawberries and I managed to grow tiny little sweet strawberries last year. I also hung a few dreamcatchers on my balcony for subtle calmness when I look at them. I've also placed a few water bowls for the birds to drink during summer. I feel really relaxed in this area due to the breeze, the calmness and the sounds of nature. I enjoy my time there by drinking coffee or tea to relax in the evening. I would also like to celebrate a few achievements in this area because it is very convenient to decorate and modify the area according to the occasion. I feel really relaxed in this place.

    Band 7

The favorite place in my house would be my balcony. It's a small balcony with a few potted plants and a grill to support those plants. We live on the 7th floor, that's why we get very cool breeze in our balcony. I really love to stand there. Why you ask me? It is because during the first rain, it has the perfect petrichor smell. The cool breeze caresses my hair whenever I stand out there. If I am sad, it will wipe away my tears. If I am happy, the birds will chirp alongside my happiness. Sometimes I just stare blankly outside the balcony and enjoy the view. It's the peace which attracts me the most. The balcony allows me to be quiet and peaceful. I feel really relaxed over there because it's one place where there is no connotation attached to it. Not like a study room where you are expected to study, not like a kitchen where you are expected to cook. Balcony does not expect anything from you. You can just stand there and keep standing without worrying about what you are supposed to do. It's my best companion.

    Band 7

A place in my house where I can relax is my kitchen. It's quite large and it's connected to the family room so I can play soft relaxing piano music on the TV while I bake and baking for me is anxiety relief so during exam periods you will often find me in the kitchen fostering up a sweet treat. I love the meticulous tasks of measuring ingredients and mixing for a certain amount of time and boiling to certain temperatures. I think the science of baking is what interests me so much and the kitchen is the perfect environment to do it in. It has all the amenities I need to create whatever my mind wants to. My family also has a large sweet tooth so making desserts for them and making them happy is another reason why being in the kitchen and baking is so rewarding for me. So whenever I'm in the kitchen I truly feel relaxed, it acts as my safe place and I also love being organized so being able to organize all of the pots and pans in specific cabinets and all of my tools and drawers it also adds to the relaxing atmosphere that is the kitchen and there's always a pleasant aroma throughout the room which adds to the experience in my opinion.

I live in a quaint independent house with my family. There are multiple parks in the surroundings which is very convenient if you'd like to go jog or run in the morning. And my favourite part of this house would be my personal room which I'm very grateful for. My personal space allows me to reflect on my career, on my personal aims and goals in life. It gives me the opportunity to just enjoy my own personal space without having to depend on anybody for entertainment or convenience. I spend most of my time in my room. I do all my shows, all my routines in my room, starting from my morning routine to my night routine. My room is spacious and well-decorated. I've put in a lot of thought in decorating my room so hence it looks beautiful and aesthetic. And not just me, additionally my mum and my brother also like to spend time in my room. We sit down and we spend time in meaningful and joyful conversations. That would be about it.

    Band 6-7

My favorite place in my house is my own bedroom. It's a place where I spend most of my time. Whenever I am home I am always always on my bedroom. However it's not like I'm always in my bedroom. It's just like when I when I want to feel relaxed or peaceful I just go in my bedroom and sit and relax and I can do whatever I want to do in my bedroom. Like I can just listen to music, I can dance, I can draw a picture or I can just lay on my bed and just relax for the moment. The favorite part of my bedroom is its furniture I would say. The furniture is of my favorite type. It's of wooden and it's handcrafted and I just love seeing the details of the furniture, the wooden furniture of my bedroom. And the reason why I feel the most calm and relaxed in my bedroom is because it's vibes. I just love the vibe of my own bedroom. I feel like I'm in my own place and I don't want to pretend to be somebody else when I'm there. I'm just focusing on me and I'm just carrying out my work or I'm just relaxing there.

    Band 6-7

My house is my sanctuary. I enjoy every part of my house equally and have the most fun when I'm at home by myself. So if I have to pick a particular spot which I find interesting for me to specifically just relax would be my bedroom because I spent most of my time on my bed using my iPad or my phone and just do most of my leisure activities on my bed. I enjoy spending time here because it gives me a sort of calm that I cannot get if I am outside or surrounded by people so most of my time is spent on my bed relaxing and hence it's you can say that it's a favorite place in my entire house for me to relax. This place has become very important to me because since I had moved to a new house I had no other place to really collect my thoughts and be by myself because we belonged to a joint family and I had a room specific to myself where I got to spend most of my time doing my homework, getting ready, sleeping, sometimes eating so most of my time during my teens was spent here and now that I've grown up and I do not have all those activities to carry forward to now it's just somewhere that I relax. I come back from work and I just lay on my bed and I'm so happy that I get to do that. Sometimes I dream about doing this at work. I can't wait to get home.

    Band 6-7

Moreover I feel that this is the great place for me in my entire house for several purposes. Other than meditation I feel that I can also study there and sometimes my friend and I also play there several games like chess, Ludo and several indoor games which I can enjoy with my friends and whole family.
