When I was a kid, I had a little pencil box which had these four buttons which gave the pencil box an operative use. When you press the button, the box would open up. When you press the second button, a little part of it would slide out. Basically it was just a little electronical and a fun thing to have and I owned it when I was in 6th. One day after break, I was standing and talking there with one of my friends and another friend of mine was running through the hallway and accidentally she pushed my shoulder and my pencil box hit the ground and it broke into multiple pieces to the point that it was not functional anymore.

Answer

It Ends With Us is a book I read recently. It's by the author Colleen Hoare. It's mainly a story about two teenagers, Atlas and Lily, and how they just handle their life going through high school, adolescence, and just domestic violence at home. Both of them come from very, very different families. However, they have one common determining factor between them, which is domestic violence. The abuse that they've seen their moms go through is just insane, and they connect through that on a different level. They're actually in the same high school, but they never speak to each other until Atlas actually crashes into an empty house next to Lily's villa. When Atlas is homeless and he doesn't have anywhere to go, he just comes and breaks into the house next to Lily's, and Lily helps him with all the daily necessities like clothes and food, medicines and stuff. Furthermore, their friendship blossoms into love, but it doesn't really fructify as Atlas has to leave. This book really gave me a lot of knowledge about domestic abuse and how to deal with it.

A gift that I really wanted was the video game Minecraft. I was 10 years old when I first heard about it. I saw online videos of YouTubers playing that game. My friends also used to play. They all had paid versions, but I only managed to get a bootleg copy of the game, so I couldn't play with them. For continuously 2 years, I asked my father to buy me that game, but I was denied continuously. But finally, on my 13th birthday, my father surprised me with the game. I was overjoyed when I saw it in my account, and the first thing I did was call all my friends and tell them to log in on the game. We played for approximately 3-4 hours that night, and that was one of the best gifts that I had received on my birthday.

Something that I was gifted a long time ago was a dog and it was gifted by my parents on my 10th birthday. I remember I was a 5th grader. I wanted a dog for so long. I remember me crying to my parents to get me a dog and they were so, so, so angry to me for that because they thought it was such an unnecessary thing but they bought me anyways. The dog was of a Shih Tzu breed. It had really white fur. First, it wasn't really comfortable with me then it came to me and it got comfortable and it started to cuddle with me. It was such a sweet dog and I named him Steve. Then, the day was so special, I cried when I saw him for the first time and my parents bought him from a pet shop nearby, however, he was very small when I got him first, so we were a bit worried if something might happen to him because since he is so small, he needs his mother's nurturing, but we were all over the moon when we got him for the first time.

I can still remember the moment. It was a fine day. There was an important case in our office. The case was handled by my senior. But that day he was not able to reach at the moment. I think it was the end of the hearing date. So the situation was very bad and I voluntarily said to my senior that I would attend the case and help him. So I got only half an hour time for the case. I prepared some notes and argued on the case. My client has been successful in this case. So once completing that, my senior was very happy. She got me a new laptop which I was thinking to buy which was very neat for me in that current situation. As a college student, I need to do more presentations and assignments, so till that time I used it by borrowing from my colleagues and friends. The situation was somewhat bad and I felt very low about that. But I think within 2 or 3 months earning salary, I will get a laptop. But surprisingly, my senior bought a laptop. He appreciated for my work and she said that it's a very important case and the case has given me very much experience also. And she said that of course if we didn't win the case, we have to pay some fine too. So by winning, I made everything properly. So my senior was happy and she presented me that.

A gift that I'll always remember is actually a pair of sunglasses that I received from my mother. I have always fancied collecting sunglasses since I've always seen my mother collect them. She has always loved sunglasses and wherever she could, she bought a pair of goggles and kept it with herself and obviously used them as well. So for some reason I've always fancied doing that myself. But the favourite pair that I'll always and always remember is the one that my mother gifted to me after my US trip. So what happened was that we had travelled to the USA in 2094 and while we were shopping there at a brand I fell in love with a pair of goggles because it was a very unusual colour. It was a camel colour pair of goggles with a cat eye but not a regular cat eye but a diamond shaped cat eye and a golden small logo on the sides of the goggles. I had fell in love with it and we ended up buying that for me. But then during the trip somewhere we lost it while we travelled from the east coast to the west coast. We lost that pair of goggles and I was really sad about it. Once we came back, I was still sad about them but I thought I'll forget it and I'll move on from there. But my mom ordered it from somebody who was travelling from the US to England.
