When I was a kid, I had a little pencil box which had these four buttons which gave the pencil box an operative use. When you press the button, the box would open up. When you press the second button, a little part of it would slide out. Basically it was just a little electronical and a fun thing to have and I owned it when I was in 6th. One day after break, I was standing and talking there with one of my friends and another friend of mine was running through the hallway and accidentally she pushed my shoulder and my pencil box hit the ground and it broke into multiple pieces to the point that it was not functional anymore.

Answer

It Ends With Us is a book I read recently. It's by the author Colleen Hoare. It's mainly a story about two teenagers, Atlas and Lily, and how they just handle their life going through high school, adolescence, and just domestic violence at home. Both of them come from very, very different families. However, they have one common determining factor between them, which is domestic violence. The abuse that they've seen their moms go through is just insane, and they connect through that on a different level. They're actually in the same high school, but they never speak to each other until Atlas actually crashes into an empty house next to Lily's villa. When Atlas is homeless and he doesn't have anywhere to go, he just comes and breaks into the house next to Lily's, and Lily helps him with all the daily necessities like clothes and food, medicines and stuff. Furthermore, their friendship blossoms into love, but it doesn't really fructify as Atlas has to leave. This book really gave me a lot of knowledge about domestic abuse and how to deal with it.

My mother recently gave me an iPad for my 21st birthday. It was a really thoughtful gesture as I never openly told her that I needed an iPad for my studies. However, she observed me and she noticed that I needed it and therefore gave me such a thoughtful gift and it was something that I really wanted as well. It proved to be extremely useful in my studies. My scores have increased a ton. I use it on a daily basis. I take it everywhere from college to even at home when I'm relaxing. It's like a mini TV and I love to watch all my shows on it.

I've received a lot of gifts in past four years because, you know, I stay in Delhi so my friends, my family, they send me a lot of stuff. But the most, I'd say, significant or important gift which I received is when I went to my home on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan. Moreover, it was like two years since I visited my hometown so it was more of a nostalgia for me to be there on Raksha Bandhan. On Raksha Bandhan, my youngest sister, she gifted me a silver bracelet. That meant a lot for me. It wasn't just because of the price tag but also because she's just six years old and she thought of gifting me a silver bracelet because in my community, it's a sign of goodness, it's a sign of healthfulness, I believe. And at such a young age, she thought of my success and my health. That really meant a lot for me. You know, actually it was the plan of my mother and her collectively to give me this silver bracelet because of the auspicious nature it shows. And also, they used to call me on a daily basis at night whether I'm wearing it or not. That's also really nice and I believe it's really cute. She talks to me every day and that's really, really significant for me. I love that.

So my school friend on my 16th birthday gave me earpods and a wristwatch and that was really surprising for me as I wasn't expecting that. I told him one day in school that I really need them as my earlier earpods were broken and the sound quality was really bad. They were old too and I told him about the same but I never knew that he would give such a gift but it was really a heartfelt experience. I really loved his gift. Then he also gave me a wristwatch. He observed me in the school that I never wore a wristwatch to school and so he thought of giving me one such. It was a really good looking black coloured watch with a bold silver dial and I really loved it. I now wear it to school everyday and of course I use the earpods as well as my tuitions are online so I really use them. I thanked him a lot and this gift was truly close to my heart and of course he is my best friend.

My sister gave me an iPad. I really wanted it and I also received it as a gift because I am passionate about car sketching and drawing. These kinds of tools help me a lot in my journey to enhance my skills and I received this gift from last month in January this year and I think it's very good for me because I do various kinds of things on that particular platform like I downloaded Procreate for these kinds of things and I usually do some conceptual classes on that. I also take some kind of sketching sessions from USA and after that they allocate me various kinds of things and also judge me how I can do these kind of things which enhance my things like and I think it's a very good thing for me to receive as a gift and which helped me a lot in my career and also enhanced my chance to become a designer in this field and whenever I'm doing this kind of thing on my iPad their refresh rate is also higher because I do these kinds of things in a second and it doesn't take that much time because they have a higher processor than any other equipment that's why I think it's a very good thing for me as a gift.

It was a small trip, he wanted to visit his family and parents and me. And I really hated that because the main reason is like we both love elephants and we really like the animal. So, it just reminded about the friendship we had and about both of us. And I really felt very good about it when I received it, like it was one of the favourite gifts I ever got. And I would say it made our friendship more stronger and more good. And it made our bond really efficient and more comfortable. And moreover, it was really special because both of us love having elephants. We used to always talk about petting an elephant when we grew up. So, it will always be my favourite memory forever in my life.

So, my father gave me this watch called the Titan Edge. This is a very long desire of mine wherein I wanted this particular watch especially and this was given to me by my father on my 18th birthday. So, 18 is usually a time of becoming an adult. So, my dad, we just had a dinner party, a small dinner party in our place and my dad gave me this particular watch and I just loved it because this is something I was like, okay, I need to buy it one day with my own money but my dad somehow he knew it and he gave me this particular watch. I have a collection of watches and I always love collecting watches irrespective of the number of watches I already own. So, wherever I see watches which are really admiring, then I have a tendency to buy such watches. Apart from that, when my dad gave me this particular watch, I was really happy and loved and I believe that this was the first time that my father actually knew something which I wanted and he gave me. Usually he does give me other things but this was the first time without me even conveying it to him, he understood and he bought it. So, this made me feel very loved.

Hi, I was gifted a guitar by my wife a couple of years ago. On an afternoon when we were walking down a street in MG Road in Bangalore, we were trying to figure out a place for eating. However, a guitar store on the side of the street caught our attention and we started surfing through the guitars in that store. However, there were not much of the great collection were there. At one point, we were thinking of leaving and one guitar at the corner caught our attention. It was carved out of mahogany wood and the look and feel was absolutely amazing. When I took the guitar in my hand, I felt that this could be it. I started playing the guitar. For almost two hours, we figured out about the guitar, its build quality, the sound and I kind of had my best time included with music in a while because I haven't been playing after coming to Bangalore for almost five years. So I was detached from my music culture. Guitar is my hobby and I write songs as well on my own and I like to play them while playing, I like to sing them while playing the guitar. This particular event when she gifted the guitar to me after a long time when I wasn't playing got me really emotional and the overall experience is very close to my heart.
