When I was a kid, I had a little pencil box which had these four buttons which gave the pencil box an operative use. When you press the button, the box would open up. When you press the second button, a little part of it would slide out. Basically it was just a little electronical and a fun thing to have and I owned it when I was in 6th. One day after break, I was standing and talking there with one of my friends and another friend of mine was running through the hallway and accidentally she pushed my shoulder and my pencil box hit the ground and it broke into multiple pieces to the point that it was not functional anymore.

It Ends With Us is a book I read recently. It's by the author Colleen Hoare. It's mainly a story about two teenagers, Atlas and Lily, and how they just handle their life going through high school, adolescence, and just domestic violence at home. Both of them come from very, very different families. However, they have one common determining factor between them, which is domestic violence. The abuse that they've seen their moms go through is just insane, and they connect through that on a different level. They're actually in the same high school, but they never speak to each other until Atlas actually crashes into an empty house next to Lily's villa. When Atlas is homeless and he doesn't have anywhere to go, he just comes and breaks into the house next to Lily's, and Lily helps him with all the daily necessities like clothes and food, medicines and stuff. Furthermore, their friendship blossoms into love, but it doesn't really fructify as Atlas has to leave. This book really gave me a lot of knowledge about domestic abuse and how to deal with it.

One of the most memorable sports competition I watched was the volleyball final during our college annual sports day. The match feathered the commerce department facing off against the science department and it was held on our college playground about six months ago. I attended the event with my classmate and the atmosphere was electric. Both teams showcased expectational skills and determination, making the match intensely competitive. The crowd's energy amplified the excitement, with cheers and chants echoing through the venue. What made this competition particularly special was the sense of camaraderie and school spirit it fostered. Seeing familiar faces on the court and supporting our peers added a personal touch to the experience. The match not only highlighted athletic prowess but also emphasized the importance of teamwork and perseverance. Overall, the volleyball final was more than just a game, it was a celebration of unity, talent and the vibrant spirit of our college community.

It was 2022, it was Christmas, the air was heavy and it was the World Cup final between Argentina and France. I saw this wonderful match 3 years ago with my parents and my sister sitting in our living room. I cannot express the emotions that I have had throughout this match with the scores leading to 3-3 with extra time leading to penalties. The match itself was completely ecstatic. It had wonderful PR ratings because of Kylian Mbappe, the young prodigy versus Lionel Messi. The supposed GOAT of football. Every score I jumped up and down screaming with joy thinking whether Messi would win or would Mbappe. The match ended with Argentina winning and Messi finally having his hand on the World Cup. Despite my initial apprehension about France winning, the joys of the match of what Argentina went through eventually won over me. The creativity of every play. It was an unforgettable walk that I went through. The pleasure of this match could not be expressed with my words. It has to be seen by one person and felt through his heart.

So, I myself am not a very sports enthusiastic person, but recently in the month of March, I've been to a badminton competition in which one of my very close friends took part in. It started around 11 o'clock in the morning and there were a total of four matches among eight participants and I arrived there quite early to cheer on my friend. She actually got second place in the tournament. It was such a surprising moment because I've never seen her play professionally like that. We used to play badminton together when we were kids in our locality, but to watch her actually play with such grace and the anticipation of what is going to happen later in the match, looking at the shuttlecock going back and forth, back and forth among the opponents, it was truly exhilarating. And finally, when I saw my friend winning the matches, it was an amazing experience looking at her face, getting the excited look that, okay, I won the match. It was amazing. And finally, when she got the second place, the smile on her face was just heartwarming. Overall, I really enjoyed the match. The techniques that the players were using, the footwork, the reflexes, it all quite interested me towards actually trying this new sport out. I might get into a badminton class.

The sports competition that I watched and that I remembered in my mind forever will be 2022 World Cup final between Argentina and Paris. France, sorry. Because I like Messi, that's why I supported Argentina. But the game was, first 80 minutes of the game was very plain, Argentina was dominating. They scored 2 goals, so they were leading by 2. But suddenly the French striker Mbappé scored 2 goals in 3 minutes, so the match got very excited for the moment. Because of these last-minute goals, the match went to overtime. In that time as well, Argentina scored and they got lead again, but Mbappé again scored a goal, so the match was getting interesting. For the end moment, for the last minute, France almost scored a goal for their lead, but the Argentinian goalkeeper saved that goal very incredibly. After that, in-penalty shootout, Argentina won of course, but the game was so thrilling that I cried after the match. And yeah, that's the one game that I will remember forever, and definitely I'm going to tell that to my children in future.

The most recent sports competition that I remember seeing was that of cricket. The IPL season just ended. I especially watched the last match which was between Punjab Super Kings and RCB. It was a very exhilarating match as it was the first time RCB ever lifted a trophy after a drought of 18 years. I'm an avid RCB supporter and that was really a significant match. It was not under the captaincy of Virat Kohli but still Virat Kohli finally after sticking with the club for 18 years was able to finally lift the trophy of the IPL. It was such an exciting and it was a very awesome comeback story actually. For all these years they were initially winning all the matches and finally they started dropping off in points. But this time they were consistent. They were on top of the table from start to finish. They did a very fantastic job in regards to the overall play, the decision making of who's to bat. Especially Virat Kohli, he did so much for the team as well as the wicket keeper Dinesh Karthik. Dinesh Karthik was a vital player in the game. His leadership behind the bales was very phenomenal. To watch them work their way through the tournament was amazing. In the finals we did see AB de Villiers. He was also a long time member of the RCB. I was really hopeful actually that Virat Kohli, AB de Villiers and Chahal would win the trophy together. But sadly AB de Villiers had retired two years prior and sadly he was not able to lift the trophy with Kohli. But that was a very significant achievement.

I watched a competition named as Indian Premier League in 2016, it was basically a cricket match played between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Chennai Super Kings. The competition was between two great players, Mahendra Singh Dhoni and the King Virat Kohli. The best moment of the match was when Virat Kohli hit a 6 to complete his 100 and the celebration was extremely superb. I like watching cricket very much, usually I am a great fan of Virat Kohli so I watch his matches live in the stadium. I watched it in Wankhede Stadium Mumbai, it is my favourite place to go to watch a match.

It was a cricket match. I actually went to the cricket stadium directly. This event happened a year ago. It was a league match which is called IPL. It is a short form of Indian Premier League. Cricket is a game which I love most and IPL is a format which I love in cricket. So I am literally on cloud nine when I got an opportunity to watch the live match. The best moment of the match was when my favourite team won the match. I went on to support Chennai Super Kings because that team had my favourite player Mahendra Singh Dhoni. He was a legend. Sorry he is a legend. Witnessing him directly is one of the best experiences in my life till date. Seeing the whole environment and my friends and colleagues were celebrating with me. The total arena was so energetic and that experience was surreal. Though it cost very much, the ticket was impeccably high amount but yet that was worth the price. Because if I look back into those days, I can't remember how much I spent but definitely I can remember how much I have enjoyed. So that would remain as my top favourite moment.

It was a cricket match happening between two teams. It was at the time where our family had a very big get-together. We were all talking about family stuff and work-person related things. But after a moment, my elder cousin turned the TV on and all of our concentration switched to the TV. We were all surprised that the match was going on between two pivotal countries, India versus Pakistan. The match was so interesting that all of the people in the house gathered together. Personally, I don't watch sports news or sports events. But when I looked into the expressions of the people sitting around me, some of the persons were excited and some faced red anxiety. I was very surprised that people devote themselves to cricket matches this long. After the match went by, India was at the verge of losing. Yet their hard work and companionship made them win the match. The victory of India overpowered all the people in my house's emotions. They all started to dance and yell Jai Hind, which is a slogan for victory India. We were all happy and we shared a special hug with each one. Moreover, the victory of India spread throughout the whole country. All the people at their homes launched a special party. My mother even made special samosas that evening for the victory of India.
