When I was a kid, I had a little pencil box which had these four buttons which gave the pencil box an operative use. When you press the button, the box would open up. When you press the second button, a little part of it would slide out. Basically it was just a little electronical and a fun thing to have and I owned it when I was in 6th. One day after break, I was standing and talking there with one of my friends and another friend of mine was running through the hallway and accidentally she pushed my shoulder and my pencil box hit the ground and it broke into multiple pieces to the point that it was not functional anymore.

It Ends With Us is a book I read recently. It's by the author Colleen Hoare. It's mainly a story about two teenagers, Atlas and Lily, and how they just handle their life going through high school, adolescence, and just domestic violence at home. Both of them come from very, very different families. However, they have one common determining factor between them, which is domestic violence. The abuse that they've seen their moms go through is just insane, and they connect through that on a different level. They're actually in the same high school, but they never speak to each other until Atlas actually crashes into an empty house next to Lily's villa. When Atlas is homeless and he doesn't have anywhere to go, he just comes and breaks into the house next to Lily's, and Lily helps him with all the daily necessities like clothes and food, medicines and stuff. Furthermore, their friendship blossoms into love, but it doesn't really fructify as Atlas has to leave. This book really gave me a lot of knowledge about domestic abuse and how to deal with it.

Recently my son took part in cricket competition. The competition was held in Northern Park at around 11 am in the morning and I was quite anxious since morning because it was the first competition that he was taking part in. Moreover my son was also very nervous because since three months they had been practicing for this competition, for this game and they had been waiting for this day to come. So he was quite nervous in the beginning, later on he gathered some strength, I encouraged him, so he gathered some strength and we all, both me and my son, we went to Northern Park for this competition. When the competition started, it was somebody else's batting, so my son was just sitting and he was quite anxious at that time. When his batting came, the most exciting moment was when he scored a six and that was when the entire audience was clapping. The playground was, it seemed like the whole playground was full of cheers for him. People were shouting out at his name and that was the most memorable moment for me at that time. My son was also very happy at that time. He just could not control his feelings and he lay flat on the ground.

The sports competition I remember being the most memorable in my life is the 2019 World Cup final that was related to cricket. The ICC final incidentally happened on my birthday, 14th July, however, I did not go to attend the show in person. I instead had to watch it to the comfort of my own home through television. Even that was an enlightening experience because the most exciting moment of the entire match was the super over at the end which happened to be completed at midnight Indian Standard Time. That was a very exciting moment since it made me feel a lot of tension in the air. There were palpitations in the hearts of the fans and there was such an unpredictable outcome that no one knew what could even happen. However, that aside, the entire match between New Zealand and England was a splendid display of sportsmanship as well as dedication and leadership. The way the players managed to handle high stress situations in limited amounts of time and carry themselves in that setting is impressive. I think the 2019 ICC World Cup final might just be my favourite sports match of all time since that reflects my core values as a person and has had major influence on me.

The sports competition that I watched recently was the World Cup of Cricket. I watched it on TV with my family and it was a really great game. It was between India and Australia and the match was really fluctuating a lot. There were moments when I felt like our country would lose and it made me feel really sad but at the end the game went up for our country and that was the most exciting moment for me. It suddenly just excited me and there was a rush of happiness in our hearts that our country might be winning and in the end when the country won just by 6 runs it was amazing. The feeling was like no more. I just loved it. There was this sense of patriotism in me which actually made me more happier because our country had not won a world cup in about 7-10 years and it was a really proud moment for us to see our country win a world cup in cricket. The team of our country was really happy and it was a proud moment not only for the players but also the whole country, the whole people of the country. It was just an exquisite moment and it made us ecstatic. There was just no expressing of how we felt because it was way too good.

I'd like to talk about a sport competition that takes place in my country India that is called as IPL, full form of IPL is Indian Premier League. So two months back I went to the city called Lucknow where this IPL league took place along with my family and I got to experience the view of a pavilion for the very first time because in my entire life I haven't been to a pavilion. So it was a very refreshing moment for me because for the very first time I was going along with my in-laws and I was very keen to know how would I feel after going to that environment because I have always wanted to take the experience of a crowded people where people, where everyone will be just cheering their heart aloud and for me it was very surprising and exciting moment at the same time because I was supporting the team called Mumbai Indians and it was competing with CSK that is called the Chennai Super Kings. At the end hour where we had left only with one wicket, it was very interesting to see if we will be able to win or not but by God's grace and the player was very magnificent that he played very well and he made us win at the last moment. For me this entire experience was different and very exciting because I got to experience something which I had never and I enjoyed my day along with my family members. So I think it is going to be...

One of the most memorable sports competition I watched was the volleyball final during our college annual sports day. The match feathered the commerce department facing off against the science department and it was held on our college playground about six months ago. I attended the event with my classmate and the atmosphere was electric. Both teams showcased expectational skills and determination, making the match intensely competitive. The crowd's energy amplified the excitement, with cheers and chants echoing through the venue. What made this competition particularly special was the sense of camaraderie and school spirit it fostered. Seeing familiar faces on the court and supporting our peers added a personal touch to the experience. The match not only highlighted athletic prowess but also emphasized the importance of teamwork and perseverance. Overall, the volleyball final was more than just a game, it was a celebration of unity, talent and the vibrant spirit of our college community.

It was 2022, it was Christmas, the air was heavy and it was the World Cup final between Argentina and France. I saw this wonderful match 3 years ago with my parents and my sister sitting in our living room. I cannot express the emotions that I have had throughout this match with the scores leading to 3-3 with extra time leading to penalties. The match itself was completely ecstatic. It had wonderful PR ratings because of Kylian Mbappe, the young prodigy versus Lionel Messi. The supposed GOAT of football. Every score I jumped up and down screaming with joy thinking whether Messi would win or would Mbappe. The match ended with Argentina winning and Messi finally having his hand on the World Cup. Despite my initial apprehension about France winning, the joys of the match of what Argentina went through eventually won over me. The creativity of every play. It was an unforgettable walk that I went through. The pleasure of this match could not be expressed with my words. It has to be seen by one person and felt through his heart.

So, I myself am not a very sports enthusiastic person, but recently in the month of March, I've been to a badminton competition in which one of my very close friends took part in. It started around 11 o'clock in the morning and there were a total of four matches among eight participants and I arrived there quite early to cheer on my friend. She actually got second place in the tournament. It was such a surprising moment because I've never seen her play professionally like that. We used to play badminton together when we were kids in our locality, but to watch her actually play with such grace and the anticipation of what is going to happen later in the match, looking at the shuttlecock going back and forth, back and forth among the opponents, it was truly exhilarating. And finally, when I saw my friend winning the matches, it was an amazing experience looking at her face, getting the excited look that, okay, I won the match. It was amazing. And finally, when she got the second place, the smile on her face was just heartwarming. Overall, I really enjoyed the match. The techniques that the players were using, the footwork, the reflexes, it all quite interested me towards actually trying this new sport out. I might get into a badminton class.

So, I watched a competition, an Indian Premier League cricket competition in Hyderabad at Hyderabad Stadium, in which the Hyderabad team was competing against the Mumbai Indians. And Hyderabad was down by three wickets, but then was able to manage to win the match. The experience here was overwhelming, as I was overjoyed by the match they played, the way they played, and I really enjoyed the match. We were seated in VIP seats, and we enjoyed the view from there, and this was a match that I would love to cherish for the rest of my life, and it was so good. And I had an amazing experience watching some incredible cricketers play at a great level, showing this potential and skills, leading the team towards victory.

The sports competition that I watched and that I remembered in my mind forever will be 2022 World Cup final between Argentina and Paris. France, sorry. Because I like Messi, that's why I supported Argentina. But the game was, first 80 minutes of the game was very plain, Argentina was dominating. They scored 2 goals, so they were leading by 2. But suddenly the French striker Mbappé scored 2 goals in 3 minutes, so the match got very excited for the moment. Because of these last-minute goals, the match went to overtime. In that time as well, Argentina scored and they got lead again, but Mbappé again scored a goal, so the match was getting interesting. For the end moment, for the last minute, France almost scored a goal for their lead, but the Argentinian goalkeeper saved that goal very incredibly. After that, in-penalty shootout, Argentina won of course, but the game was so thrilling that I cried after the match. And yeah, that's the one game that I will remember forever, and definitely I'm going to tell that to my children in future.
