When I was a kid, I had a little pencil box which had these four buttons which gave the pencil box an operative use. When you press the button, the box would open up. When you press the second button, a little part of it would slide out. Basically it was just a little electronical and a fun thing to have and I owned it when I was in 6th. One day after break, I was standing and talking there with one of my friends and another friend of mine was running through the hallway and accidentally she pushed my shoulder and my pencil box hit the ground and it broke into multiple pieces to the point that it was not functional anymore.

It Ends With Us is a book I read recently. It's by the author Colleen Hoare. It's mainly a story about two teenagers, Atlas and Lily, and how they just handle their life going through high school, adolescence, and just domestic violence at home. Both of them come from very, very different families. However, they have one common determining factor between them, which is domestic violence. The abuse that they've seen their moms go through is just insane, and they connect through that on a different level. They're actually in the same high school, but they never speak to each other until Atlas actually crashes into an empty house next to Lily's villa. When Atlas is homeless and he doesn't have anywhere to go, he just comes and breaks into the house next to Lily's, and Lily helps him with all the daily necessities like clothes and food, medicines and stuff. Furthermore, their friendship blossoms into love, but it doesn't really fructify as Atlas has to leave. This book really gave me a lot of knowledge about domestic abuse and how to deal with it.

A sports competition that I watched was the Tata IPL finals, it was the 2025th edition of Tata IPL. The final was between Punjab and Bangalore. The team of Punjab was led by Shreyas Iyer while the RCBMs were led by Virat Kohli. The final took place at Salt Lake Stadium, Kolkata. It was once in a lifetime opportunity for me because RCB has been waiting to lift the IPL cup since the past 17 years, 17 years of struggle. Virat Kohli as a captain never won an IPL trophy, but this year things were about to change. Virat Kohli tried to hit a century but he was knocked out after his half century. The whole crowd went silent, but after that Jitesh who was the power striker for RCBMs he did a tremendous job. He hit back to back sixes bringing the team back on track. This was the first time RCB was about to lift the trophy at the end of the match when there were only one ball left. RCB was about to cry, Virat Kohli was in tears. As soon as the match was over Virat Kohli started crying.

Sports competitions play an essential role in everyone's lives, be it playing in sports competitions or watching them, everyone has definitely played a part in sports. One such sports competition that I have not participated in but have watched a lot is the Indian Premier League, which is the IPL. IPL is India's largest cricket league and has players from various countries participating in it, in a small tournament of about a month, where about 20 teams compete for a final great cup. I did not have the chance to visit the stadium to watch the matches in person, however I believe that watching them on the television was a greater experience since I was able to see the strategies and expressions of players quite closely as compared to the miniature size that I would have seen from the stadium's stands. And a surprising feeling is that I was watching it on the TV along with 1 crore people as displayed by the statistics on the television. It was an amazing experience seeing all the Indian players play so well along with all the other foreign players. They are the greatest and most aspirational players of this current time, with players ranging from Virat Kohli, MS Dhoni, David Williams and many more great cricketers like whom I aspire to become one day. It gave me immense joy and fun to watch the cricket matches that were in the tournament. I watched it along with a few relatives and friends and the experience of watching it together was much more fun than it would have been watching alone.

Describe a sports competition you watched. It was during my sports day at my school where we had a racing competition of two kinds which was one relay race and the other one was solo race. The races were of 3-4 different kinds like 100m, 400m, 800m race for both relay and solo race. While watching those races I remembered my time when I was a kid most probably at 5th or 6th when I also participated for the same thing. I watched myself in those young runners and I was like I wish I could have done that again but since I was participating in some different competitions I was not able to do so but yes I enjoyed it very much while cheering out loud for those who were in my team like a crazy person. We were just calling out their names very loudly like we were screaming so yes I remember the sports race which we had during our high school time which directly took me towards my childhood when I myself also participated in one. It was a very beautiful moment that I still remember and cherish and I hope that I can once again participate in such race with my friends.

I watched the race in December when I had my exams the next day and the race on the weekend. I was really very excited for the race as it was the last race of the season and I had to watch it definitely by any chance. I could not miss it because my only idol Lewis Hamilton was going to leave the team Mercedes after working in it for 12 years. I watched the race on an online platform F1 TV and with my parents sitting beside me. I was really really excited and was making noises at the home, cheering for my favourite team. However, the Mercedes team was out in the half session because of some engine failures but then the most exciting part I witnessed was the Ferrari vs McLaren for the Constructors World Championship. I felt really really motivated and heart touching after I saw the race and the positive competition they kept for each other. I was stuck to my seat for 3 hours and I dare not look away from the screen after such an amazing race. At the last when the race was over and McLaren won the Constructor title, I was really emotional as I wanted Ferrari to win that year but due to many hardships and some improper race decisions, I felt like it was a race.

I would like to talk about the recent final match of IPL that I watched. It was in the month of June and it was quite exhilarating to watch it. I think it was the first time RCB made it to the finals and a lot of anticipation was in the air around the match regarding it. Yes, it was a cricket competition. First time RCB made it to the finals. It was exciting. I had this big plan of going and watching it with my friends at a restaurant but we couldn't coordinate the time and place. So I ended up watching it at home itself but I made sure to be in touch with my friends. So we were on call for a while at the end of the match to have the experience all together. It was a surreal moment basically. I couldn't believe what happened in the match. It was such an exciting match particularly because RCB won after 18 years. It was such a dream come true moment especially for a team that you've been supporting for so long. I think that's what made it so much special. It was worth the wait is what I could say. It was very exciting to see all the emotions that were overflowing on that day around me especially. Like in my family how all of us were happy and outside on the streets everyone was just celebrating the joy, the chaos that it brought and the life it filled my city with that day. It was beautiful to witness and I'm glad that it happened.

So, the most recent sports competition that I watched was that of cricket at a local stadium called Wankhede in my hometown city Mumbai. It was a very wonderful match and the most exciting moment that I can remember is where the batsman of this team I was supporting scored a century and helped the team win the match in the last moment. So, yes, that was the most exciting moment and overall the experience was very pleasant. The weather was pretty hot but the arrangements were so good that it did not really affect us a lot. There were water bottles, enough ventilation in the stadium. It was a treat to watch all the sportsmen come together and play with the best sportsmanship. Cricket is a very good sport.

I recently watched India vs South Africa T20 World Cup Finals. I watched it on a OTT platform while I was traveling to a movie with all my family members. My family members including my mom, dad, my brother, my cousins, my grandparents, everyone etc. One of the most thrilling moment which I felt while I was watching the match was Surya Kumar Yadav's catch. We could have never won this match without our Indian team's incredible teamwork, persistence and energy. They are the best I would say. I felt really emotional while watching this match because India has finally won a World Cup after 17 years. The way Rohit and Kohli hugged each other after winning the World Cup really touched my heart. It is one of the moment which I could never forget in my life ever again.

I watched Men's ODI Cricket World Cup recently. It was a great moment for me because I watched first time a cricket match in a stadium. The match was in 2023. It was between Australia and Afghanistan in Mumbai's Wankhede Stadium. It was a great atmosphere and a great team like Australia was against a not so great team like Afghanistan. But the way Afghanistan played was really amazing. They blew everyone with their batting and then their bowling performance. Australia was down to their knees. It was then a historic play by one of the iconic cricketer Glenn Maxwell came into being. It was amazing how he played because he was injured. He was playing with just one leg and the way he managed to rotate strikes, hit those sixes all over the place. Afghanistan had no answer and the whole stadium was just roaring with every six and four. He managed to score 200 runs. That was a brilliant double century by any cricketer in the history of ODI World Cup. It was great for me not just because I love cricket but because it was an inspiring moment. I learnt that even if you are down in any situation you can always get up. You have to give a fight and there is always a possibility that you can win. You can achieve things in your life.
