When I was a kid, I had a little pencil box which had these four buttons which gave the pencil box an operative use. When you press the button, the box would open up. When you press the second button, a little part of it would slide out. Basically it was just a little electronical and a fun thing to have and I owned it when I was in 6th. One day after break, I was standing and talking there with one of my friends and another friend of mine was running through the hallway and accidentally she pushed my shoulder and my pencil box hit the ground and it broke into multiple pieces to the point that it was not functional anymore.

It Ends With Us is a book I read recently. It's by the author Colleen Hoare. It's mainly a story about two teenagers, Atlas and Lily, and how they just handle their life going through high school, adolescence, and just domestic violence at home. Both of them come from very, very different families. However, they have one common determining factor between them, which is domestic violence. The abuse that they've seen their moms go through is just insane, and they connect through that on a different level. They're actually in the same high school, but they never speak to each other until Atlas actually crashes into an empty house next to Lily's villa. When Atlas is homeless and he doesn't have anywhere to go, he just comes and breaks into the house next to Lily's, and Lily helps him with all the daily necessities like clothes and food, medicines and stuff. Furthermore, their friendship blossoms into love, but it doesn't really fructify as Atlas has to leave. This book really gave me a lot of knowledge about domestic abuse and how to deal with it.

It's been 7 years since my brother has first asked me to watch Formula 1. I'm always a sports guy. I love cricket, tennis, football, anything that tests your stamina. This sport, I was reluctant. Formula 1 is all about drivers sitting in the car and going around in circle. That's what I thought. Once I got in this sport, it was just marvellous. The mesmerizing circuits that these drivers race, the marvellous aerodynamics that is involved in building the car, it's just breathtaking. I remember the first weekend I saw the race, I was in front of TV all the time. I was just looking at the way the cars move, the way they swerve into the corners. It is something which normal cars can't do. The reason why I feel Formula 1 is too close to my heart is how it mimics your real-time life. One day you might be in position 10, the next you might as well be in position 1. It is a really great sport which involves a lot of brains to build the car. My favourite driver, Mustapha, he is master of all trades, an excellent wet-weather driver, an excellent aggressive driver.

The most exciting time of the year for me is July. July is when Wimbledon is hosted. Wimbledon is the most competitive tennis tournament which is held only once a year. It is part of the four grand slams of tennis, including Australian Open, French Open and US Open as the three other grand slams. The Wimbledon, usually known for its strawberries and cream, showcases the most competitive tennis. Players like Alexander Zverev, Roger Federer, Novak Djokovic, Rafael Nadal have been known as the legends of grass. It is held in a grass court surface which is very hard to find in any destination all over the world. Moreover, the tournament features a lot of grit through the longest matches which have been played on the circuit. I had watched this tournament last year from the comfort of my home in July on a TV. My favourite player being Roger Federer is known for his swag and effortless brilliance. The most enjoyable moment for me was when Roger Federer reached the final without dropping a set in the most effortless and perfect fashion possible. He won the final as well but his opponent was injured making it a very less exciting final. To me, Wimbledon is a very special tournament. Being a tennis enthusiast, it is my dream to win Wimbledon one day. I don't know if I can achieve that. Hopefully, I will work towards that. I loved the strawberries and cream which I tried in Wimbledon during my visit to London when I was 6 years old. The Wimbledon is a tournament.

I have seen numerous sporting events in my life, but most of them were cricket matches. I have seen a couple of hockey matches as well, but the event that has a long-lasting impression on my mind is the 2011 Cricket World Cup Semi-Final played between India and Pakistan. In 2011, the World Cup was co-hosted by India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. No one expected India to lift the cup as the semi-final and final were scheduled to be held in India.

A sports competition that I watched in person was the football match between Juventus and Lazio, which was conducted as a part of Supercoppa d'Italiana. The host was Riyadh, a city in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The most exciting moment which made me wonderstruck was to see Ronaldo, who used to play for Real Madrid and is known for his talent. Moreover, he is a hardworking person and with his skills alone, he became one of the greatest players in the world. Seeing him right in front of my eyes, I could not believe that it took time for me to process that I was actually seeing him in person. I felt immense pleasure in meeting one of the greatest players of all time. With his career statistics, seeing him play the match was extremely satisfying. A player like him coming into my hometown thrilled me with joy and I ran to make sure I do not miss a single minute of the match.

A sports competition that I watched a few years back is the 2022 FIFA World Cup Final. Now as a person, I'm not really into sports that much, let alone any outdoor games except for badminton. So I'm not really into football or cricket as such. But the FIFA World Cup was something that had a lot of talks and gossip around it. So I thought to myself, why not watch it then? So I sat down with my brother, my dad, a few friends and other family members. We all sat down on the floor in the living room and we had our snacks like popcorn and Coca-Cola, nachos, everything was ready in front of us. And I just remember I still have the distinct feeling of watching that final game, the anticipation around each goal and the disappointment when the other team manages to get a score against my team, which is Argentina. And the emotions were just completely overwhelming, but in a good way, if I have to say. And the final moment where we know Argentina won and everyone in the room just stands up and screams, goes into an uproar. It is such a cherishable memory for me. I will never forget about it. So the FIFA World Cup final was the best sports competition that I've watched on my television. And it really taught me a lot about sportsmanship and why it's important to, you know, watch these sports with your family, to form a bond, to talk about these. It is definitely a way to make you more closer with your family who are crazy fans of football.

A recent sports competition that I watched was the National Basketball Association season. The one that comes to mind is the 2022 season. Although I do like to watch NBA any chance that I get, but I am heavily invested in it anytime the Golden State Warriors make it to the playoffs. I am a really huge fan of Steph Curry. I absolutely adore the man. He's an inspiration to me and countless others. And I believe that he is one of those players that just transcends the game. I watched it back in 2022 as I mentioned. It was a fabulous, spectacular time. Steph really balled out as they say in NBA terms and the level of proficiency that he had and the level of skill that was displayed was on just a totally different level. I absolutely wished that the Golden State Warriors, which is the team that Steph plays for, would win the NBA Finals. And they did. They beat the Boston Celtics in six games thanks to a huge team.

A recent sports competition that I've watched should be the match between India and Pakistan. It is a cricket match and it has been a historical experience watching that match. Because in India, cricket is just not a sport or a competition, it is a religion in itself. When it comes to playing cricket, it is not on the ground that it is being played, but it is on the minds, hearts and souls of people living in both the countries. We have enormous trust on our players and expect them to win every time. There have been times when we have lost, but believe me, when we have won, the victories have tasted sweeter than ever. It is basically the competition at its best. It is to honour sportsmanship. It is to honour the competitive spirit between the team players of both sides. It is the love for the game that is more than the country's honour at times. We are enormously engrossed and taken aback when we lose a game. We have seen many wins, but we have also taken the bitter taste of a few losses. For instance, when I watched this match in the T20 finals, we lost to Pakistan and it was heartbreaking. Though it is a beautiful sport and is enjoyed by many across the world, cricket for Indians is more than just a sport. It is faith, religion and a country's honour.

The sports competition that I would like to talk about is the Cricket World Cup recently happened in India. There were around 10 teams that participated in this competition. My favorite team from them was of course India as this is my home country and I would always like to support India. India went on to the finals and competed against South Africa. It was a tight game. I went on to watch it in Ahmedabad since it's my home city and the match was held there. It was possible for me to go there and watch the match live. I felt really exciting and happy to be able to watch that game.

One sports competition I clearly remember watching was the IPL final match in 2023 where Chennai Super Kings played against Gujarat Titans. I watched it on live on TV at home with my family and the atmosphere was full of energy and excitement. The match was held at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad and it was a night match. What made it even more special was the game was very close till the last over. Chennai needed 13 runs in 6 balls. Everyone was on the edge of their seats. The most exciting moment was when Ravindra Jadeja hit a 6 and 4 in the last 2 balls leading Chennai to the historic win. That moment gave me goosebumps and my entire family jumped with joy. It made me feel extremely thrilled and emotional because I have been a CSK fan for years. Watching such a close match especially with a dramatic ending was a truly unforgettable experience.

I recently watched an India vs England test match of cricket because I love playing cricket and I love watching cricket a lot and test format is my favorite format of all time. I was watching it online on my TV and it actually finished 2 days ago. I was watching it, actually test match is something which we get connected to. I was watching it at home with my parents. It was a 5 day match and the last day thrill was the most exciting thing to watch for me as India was completely losing the game and England only needed 20 runs and India had to take 4 wickets to win the match and still India won the match and took 4 wickets. I would like to praise the bowler Mohammad Siraj.
