When I was a kid, I had a little pencil box which had these four buttons which gave the pencil box an operative use. When you press the button, the box would open up. When you press the second button, a little part of it would slide out. Basically it was just a little electronical and a fun thing to have and I owned it when I was in 6th. One day after break, I was standing and talking there with one of my friends and another friend of mine was running through the hallway and accidentally she pushed my shoulder and my pencil box hit the ground and it broke into multiple pieces to the point that it was not functional anymore.

    Answer

It Ends With Us is a book I read recently. It's by the author Colleen Hoare. It's mainly a story about two teenagers, Atlas and Lily, and how they just handle their life going through high school, adolescence, and just domestic violence at home. Both of them come from very, very different families. However, they have one common determining factor between them, which is domestic violence. The abuse that they've seen their moms go through is just insane, and they connect through that on a different level. They're actually in the same high school, but they never speak to each other until Atlas actually crashes into an empty house next to Lily's villa. When Atlas is homeless and he doesn't have anywhere to go, he just comes and breaks into the house next to Lily's, and Lily helps him with all the daily necessities like clothes and food, medicines and stuff. Furthermore, their friendship blossoms into love, but it doesn't really fructify as Atlas has to leave. This book really gave me a lot of knowledge about domestic abuse and how to deal with it.

I would like to learn about the culture of Egypt. Egypt is an African country in the African continent. I knew about this place when I was very little and when we were studying about the maps. However, as I have got older, I watched a lot of series where Egyptian cultures were mentioned and how the Egyptian civilization was helping the mankind over the years to flourish and they always had something special in their culture. Egyptians are really brave people and they are very intelligent in creating structures like pyramids and when we are focusing more on how these pyramids are created or what is the function of the pyramids, we can see that how well architectured or structured the pyramids are. You get amused by the mathematics and the calculations involved there. A lot of underground paths are also found in the pyramids as I have seen in many of the documentaries. There is no technology, there is no inventions there. People are building these monuments or whatever these buildings are there, using their own hands and feet. They have to carry all these rocks, everything on their own, in their bag.

This place is theater. Theater is the place where I learn so much about the culture. Not only my culture but also the various cultures from Asia to America. Theater is the place which I was introduced by my parents in very early years of my life. Theaters promote the culture. From the theater I learn the cultures from the various act like watching movies to dramas and plays. Once I watched the play called Hamilton which introduced me to the culture of France, how they used to dress in the 19th century, how they speak and how their system works. Same goes to the movies. Movies from various parts of the world show their culture, their lifestyle and their history to me.

It holds a special place in my heart as it is a usual and a proper gathering of a lot of people from various places. They bop, they skate, they enjoy their time, they have fun coming up with verses on the fly. It is a wonderful time and a very joyous time spent there. It is one of those places where I have first come to understand a deeper meaning around hip-hop culture and the fun that happens with various skateboarding and other such activities.

I would be very inclined to go visit the Broadway's in Manhattan, New York. I have always looked up to theater and performance art as a way of expressing our emotions and our inner thoughts and going and attending Broadway in New York would be one that cherries the list. I was first gravitated towards Broadway when I saw The Phantom of the Opera since then. I followed many of their productions where they mix art, music, culture, the contemporary discussions and shaping how the human discourses and cultural and social sensibilities around it more auditionally. The sets, designs, the costumes, the immaculate dialogues and the dialogue deliveries, the scripts are everything that attracts me toward witnessing a great show at Broadway. I think it's hugely relevant in today's day to go and see such theaters and performances and get the lessons out of the classic or contemporary topics or literatures that they choose to enact on stage. Having been a theater kid in my college and having played roles in many shows across India during my college days and won winning awards during college competitions for acting, I personally believe Broadway would be my Mecca to go see fine actors enacting current social issues on stage with artistic sensibilities that in turn sway the emotions of people around it and bring it in the public and popular discourse. I believe art, culture are just as important as science and technology to take us forward.

So, the most unique place in my hometown is Ayyappa temple, which is around 10 kilometers away from my house in Pandalam. Now this palace is believed to have been associated with the Lord Ayyappa, who is of great importance in our region. Other than that, the ambience that this palace gives is incredible and it's a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life because it gives you the refreshing experience every time you visit. It's not just the same experience. Whenever you go there, you might be having some negative thoughts in your mind like something negative that's happening in your life or anything from the past or you're overthinking about your future, but the moment you enter the place, you feel relaxed. That's the best part about this and it makes it the best destination that anybody who is visiting that place should go and visit that place to experience the beauty and that makes it so special for me. Other than that, what I have noticed in that palace is that the architecture from the past, from the ancient artisan is breathtaking, it's mesmerizing that today in the modern world, mostly the furniture relies on the screws and the bolts, but from the past, the architecture has proven it that without screws and bolts as well, the furniture can be strong and it is made on one piece of wood which makes it really strong.
