When I was a kid, I had a little pencil box which had these four buttons which gave the pencil box an operative use. When you press the button, the box would open up. When you press the second button, a little part of it would slide out. Basically it was just a little electronical and a fun thing to have and I owned it when I was in 6th. One day after break, I was standing and talking there with one of my friends and another friend of mine was running through the hallway and accidentally she pushed my shoulder and my pencil box hit the ground and it broke into multiple pieces to the point that it was not functional anymore.

    Answer

It Ends With Us is a book I read recently. It's by the author Colleen Hoare. It's mainly a story about two teenagers, Atlas and Lily, and how they just handle their life going through high school, adolescence, and just domestic violence at home. Both of them come from very, very different families. However, they have one common determining factor between them, which is domestic violence. The abuse that they've seen their moms go through is just insane, and they connect through that on a different level. They're actually in the same high school, but they never speak to each other until Atlas actually crashes into an empty house next to Lily's villa. When Atlas is homeless and he doesn't have anywhere to go, he just comes and breaks into the house next to Lily's, and Lily helps him with all the daily necessities like clothes and food, medicines and stuff. Furthermore, their friendship blossoms into love, but it doesn't really fructify as Atlas has to leave. This book really gave me a lot of knowledge about domestic abuse and how to deal with it.

In my life, I have known many people, be it my family, my friends, my colleagues, but it is very less time that I have seen people doing charity work or doing something that contributes to the society. I have a friend of my father, he is my friend too, his name is Gulshan Kantrod. I have seen him doing charity work so many times and helping people, helping poor people and he does it with so kindness and he has a big heart that 60% of his income always goes to the charity. His presence is so uplifting that whenever people get to meet him, people feel happy no matter what the situation is and when I asked him about why he does charity, he was like charity is the only thing I can do to help contribute to society. I am not in any situation or I am not in any trust where I could help people so I do it on my individual basis and he said that he only had a single child and that was his daughter so he could not pass on his family wealth to someone. So all he wanted to do was do charity and help people with the money he has collected over the years and he has, his presence has motivated me so much that I am overwhelmed and I learn so much from him and I would like to thank him to teach me about how one should contribute to the society and how one should live in the society and how one should be a part of the society.

I would like to talk about a person who has influenced me deep down and that is my husband. He is a doctor by profession, specifically speaking dentist, specialized in orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics. So this person, he goes early in the morning for work and there are a lot of patients who wait at his office, dental office, waiting to get their teeth aligned to give them an aesthetic appearance. I always feel that it boosts the confidence in people when they see that their teeth are aligned properly. It gives them a makeover, a total makeover. Moreover, there are many clients whom I have heard called him and said on how satisfied they are because these days the braces have vanished and it's the era of aligners. Aligners is like a transparent braces. It's a transparent braces which aligns the teeth based on the schedule given to them. Patients can use it in their comfort. There is no problem with pain and I always feel that he has always made sure to give his clients the best results. Also, there was this, I still remember an incident where there was this one lady who had a crooked teeth and she had very low self-esteem and she was crying tremendously seeing that there are a lot of people who shamed her for how her teeth looks like and so my husband talked to her or had a one-on-one conversation with her.

Well, to answer this question, I would say, there's a person nearby to our home, he's our neighbour. He served in military and he's much more interested as he got retired recently. From there onwards, he was contributing to society in many ways. For example, I could say, he always looks up for the stray dogs and kittens, providing them food and shelter during winters and summer times. He also participates in voluntary NGO services, where he will be like, I could say that he contributes more, but participating in many NGO volunteering services where services like looking after the homeless persons, stray dogs and kittens or cats and cleaning up the roads.

There are many people who are actually contributing to the society in the terms of charity and some work and they are more expertised in. Today I want to talk about one person whose name is Savjibhai Todakya which is originated from Gujarat and he is involved in diamond business. He is very known for his charity programs and he has developed many ponds in their village around areas for the farmers. Once I met them during the wedding of my cousin because my cousin is working in his company as senior manager apart from that I read several news and articles in the newspaper as well. So almost everyone in the Gujarat state will be able to know him, mostly they are involved in the programs of charity related for education for the child and some of them are from the daughter who don't have parents and they are organising their wedding and give them full furnished home and cars as well so they can survive their life easily. Moreover, they are more interested in farming and natural resources improvement so they are always keeping their work towards the natural process to build the natural surface level and apart from that plantation is their favourite part of their life so they are always gifts plant and give cows towards their care.

A person who contributes to society is one of my ideal Ratan Tata and I get to know about him through books, my study books, through newspapers, TVs and social media. He is the CEO of the Tata group of company Private Limited and he is a very famous and well known person in India. Ratan Tata always like to donate, doing charity, support orphanages, support education system for poor children's families and he has donated about 80% of his wealth to the charity. That's what I love about him. Recently he has been dead due to the old age.

The person who contributes to society is the IAS officer of my district, Coimbatore, in Tamil Nadu, in southernmost part of India. His name is Karanthi Kumar Patel. He's from Bihar and he's a middle-aged man, around 32-35 years old. And I've known him because I've seen him a lot in the newspapers and news and interviews and blogs and YouTube videos. And he's been the civil servant in our district for almost 4-5 years. And he's giving a lot of motivational speeches, a lot of inspirational talks about his past, how hard his family situation was when he started preparing UPSC exams. And he'd been doing undergraduate programme in mechanical engineering, which he was not at all liking it and he dropped out of his second year of college and from then on he started preparing for UPSC exams. He didn't have a proper home, he didn't have proper meals a day and there were a lot of struggles in his past while preparing for the civil servant exams. And I've known him because I've seen him once in the collector mass conduct programme in our city with the department of agriculture and horticulture. And I belong to the department of horticulture from my college, so I've been representing my college. And we got photos with him and he'd been telling a lot of real societal problems and solutions and we discussed with him a lot about the horticulture and agriculture department from our state. And I think he's my current inspiration and he's so sweet and he's so humble. I have never seen him go wrong in any problems that we have encountered in our city.

Yeah, the one person who always inspires me is Mahendra Singh Dhoni, that is M.S. Dhoni. He is not only a legendary cricketer, but also a remarkable captain in the world. And also, Dhoni's calm demeanor under crunch situations is always a thing which I admire a lot. And also, playing cricket from a small town in India to representing the country and leading the country in the topmost level is something unachievable. And also, this cleanly demonstrates that with a keen mindset and with good hard work, we can achieve anything in life. And as a wicketkeeper myself, I always look up to M.S. Dhoni because he has the quickest reflexes in the world. And also, the focus and composure of M.S. Dhoni influence me a lot. And also, M.S. Dhoni has contributed a lot to India, like he is the only captain in the world to achieve the all ICC trophies. And also, he is the most successful captain in Indian Premier League, that is one of the most proficient leagues in the world. And also, M.S. Dhoni's calm, composed behavior and the way he handles the team is something excellent. And he is a captain who always thinks out of the box, so that he has been so successful in life. He has won the Bharat Ratna Award and he has won the Bharat Khel Ratna Award, which demonstrates that he contributes so much to society.

There are many professions which do contribute to the society. For example, there are doctors, there are social workers, there are policemen, there are postmen. They contribute their work to the society. But the most inspiring one is my friend, who is a doctor and working in a public health department. I know him since three years, and I've seen what kind of work he does for the society. As it deals with the public health, he has to do the various kinds of awareness in public about the disease, the outbreak of the disease, what are the precautions they have to make. And he also contributes them with his efforts, like going on the fieldwork. They have to visit every house in slum areas where the disease outbreak is more, and he helps them to overcome it. So they have done various kinds of activities and have helped many people. And also they are doing the social work where there is a need of any help, whether it's economical help, whether it's emotional help, mental help, or any technical help. He's always there to help the public as working in a public department. So I got inspired by his work and also developing an interest to do my master's in public health, and I could also work like him and contribute my work towards the society. So that would be the best option.
