When I was a kid, I had a little pencil box which had these four buttons which gave the pencil box an operative use. When you press the button, the box would open up. When you press the second button, a little part of it would slide out. Basically it was just a little electronical and a fun thing to have and I owned it when I was in 6th. One day after break, I was standing and talking there with one of my friends and another friend of mine was running through the hallway and accidentally she pushed my shoulder and my pencil box hit the ground and it broke into multiple pieces to the point that it was not functional anymore.

It Ends With Us is a book I read recently. It's by the author Colleen Hoare. It's mainly a story about two teenagers, Atlas and Lily, and how they just handle their life going through high school, adolescence, and just domestic violence at home. Both of them come from very, very different families. However, they have one common determining factor between them, which is domestic violence. The abuse that they've seen their moms go through is just insane, and they connect through that on a different level. They're actually in the same high school, but they never speak to each other until Atlas actually crashes into an empty house next to Lily's villa. When Atlas is homeless and he doesn't have anywhere to go, he just comes and breaks into the house next to Lily's, and Lily helps him with all the daily necessities like clothes and food, medicines and stuff. Furthermore, their friendship blossoms into love, but it doesn't really fructify as Atlas has to leave. This book really gave me a lot of knowledge about domestic abuse and how to deal with it.

Well, there are a lot of people who contribute to society. Some by clothes, some by food, some by giving shelters, out of whatever they feel like. But on the other side, there are some people who contribute to society just by being empathetic. Like one of my friend, whose name is Tanvi. I feel so loved when I'm with her. She is so empathetic, so unconditional. I have never seen a person who is so unjudging. And I think we need more such kind of people in our lives, just to feel ourselves. Because out of abusive parenting, there are people who have their children who have lost their identity, lost their self-esteem, lost their confidence. And they're in the cage of fear. But we need people like her to feel what love is to be. Some people, just being there is the most beautiful thing they could ever have. So we need more empathetic people in this world. Unconditional, loving, accepting, non-judging, free-minded. And most important, giving hopes, maybe not like food.

So one such person and a prominent figure, name that I would like to take is, you know, the Hon'ble Dalai Lama Shri Narendra Modi ji. He is one of the leading figures in the whole world. He has brought a whole lot of change in the nation and was in the previous legal office. And furthermore, he continues to inspire a lot of youth in order to change the nation and change for the better. He has brought in a lot of development. The dynamics of the country have changed. First, India used to be a very quiet nation and it used to get suppressed. But now we are actually in an office. In India, for the first time, India actually has responded to any kind of panic and any kind of discomfort.

I feel like there are multiple people in our society who are contributing and giving back to the community. But the person I find the most fascinating is Master Shantanu. I heard of him recently as he worked with Ratan Tata and his main motto is to support the geriatric population as in the recent years, not just the recent years but since quite a few years it has been seen that the geriatric population is getting neglected by our society. Families chose to just drop them off in some nursing facilities and abandon them. He is a person who is taking care of such elderly people and I feel that it is quite important because to do so as they have taken care of us in their youth and it is our moral duty to take care of them when they are in their age group and it is quite essential. I feel like initially at least people will perform their duties towards their parents in their old age but nowadays people maybe because of the lifestyle but they are not really taking care of them.

    Band 6-7

According to me, the person who is more important to the society, who contributes to the society is definitely, I would say doctors, because I myself, one of the doctors, I am Sharan Raj, I'm a dentist and also I'm good at giving tips for nutrition and you know what, it's very impressive and it's very surprising, if you or if your country have low number of doctors, as doctors actually help in keeping the society in a right track in terms of health, in terms of having good communications, in terms of having good mindfulness. So doctors who actually treat patients, they not only give them the treatment but also they give them the best advice to avoid, to avoid the upcoming disorders where they look at the black picture of the person and then they say these things. So if a person is actually following the tips of a doctor, if he is keeping himself very healthy then definitely he will have a good and bright mind so that he will have beautiful thoughts and he will do better in his life. So definitely doctors contribute to the healthy and beautiful society, in turn this society will have great things in their community.

People who cater to the society are many, like political figures, co-operative administrations, or figures of them. However, I personally believe that writers contribute to a larger part of a society, that is, the whole world. With literature as a medium that can reach anybody without boundaries, and with effective tools of writing and imagination, they create a story which is interesting to read and gives a message in a comprehensive manner. The person I believe catered to this particular society is author Amitav Ghosh, who is a common name in the Indian diaspora. He averages the history of Britain and India and portrays it in a different light. Not only does he make the work interesting, but makes a person keen on reading it. I got to know, and I was introduced to the author because he was included in a curriculum. And the first book which I read of him is called The Shattered Lines, which was quite engaging in its own manner, and a historical book, which I was really skeptical because histories can be boring. However, reading all of his other preceding books, I was proved quite wrong. And this is how writers contribute to the society by showing it its history, values, and the true culture of a society.

I feel the person who contributed towards this society a lot is Mahatma Gandhi. He is one of the independent fighters who has helped us get back independence and remove Britishers from our country. I believe that with his involvement we were able to get independence without any fights and reducing the minimal risk of someone being killed during those days. Even though there were many rebellions who tried to gain independence through battles or through other harmful means, Gandhi ji always believed in peace and trying to fight fairly for our rights. I have known this person first time when my father described me about him when it was during our independence day when I asked why were we respecting him and why were we treating that he is an important person. Then my father described that he was the reason that we received independence. Till today we can observe that he has contributed a lot to the society because we are displaying him in our daily notes and other things. We even celebrate his birthdays and deathdays because he has made a significant action towards bringing freedom. Moreover, Mahatma Gandhi has always been a person who is believing in Ahimsa which means non-violence. He has never eaten a single animal till the date he died. He was always thinking about others' benefits and always prioritizing others before him. We see that the proper statement that think about others before you think about ourselves. So this was the phrase which was used.

Her name is Suneha, and she is beautiful and intelligent. Actually, she lives in my neighborhood, and we were in the same class, so we became a good friend. Nowadays, she is a teacher by profession along with a yoga instructor. So, she is not used to teach students at school, but also she organizes free extra classes for people who cannot afford the classes. And apart from this, she used to teach yoga to elderly people who do not pay the fees for it, because she knows that it is beneficial for our health, and also she provides a lot of techniques or tips how we become a fitness in our life. Not only this, but also she is a member of community center, and she always donate the stationary items, clothes as well as food products to the people. And in the community center, there are lot of children who are belong to poor families. So, she gives free lectures to them, and in which they found most of difficulties or subjects. So, she provides a lot of knowledge to them. Apart from this, she is a very kind nature, and she always helps to all people who found many problems in their life. Moreover, whenever I found any problem in my life, then I always
