When I was a kid, I had a little pencil box which had these four buttons which gave the pencil box an operative use. When you press the button, the box would open up. When you press the second button, a little part of it would slide out. Basically it was just a little electronical and a fun thing to have and I owned it when I was in 6th. One day after break, I was standing and talking there with one of my friends and another friend of mine was running through the hallway and accidentally she pushed my shoulder and my pencil box hit the ground and it broke into multiple pieces to the point that it was not functional anymore.

It Ends With Us is a book I read recently. It's by the author Colleen Hoare. It's mainly a story about two teenagers, Atlas and Lily, and how they just handle their life going through high school, adolescence, and just domestic violence at home. Both of them come from very, very different families. However, they have one common determining factor between them, which is domestic violence. The abuse that they've seen their moms go through is just insane, and they connect through that on a different level. They're actually in the same high school, but they never speak to each other until Atlas actually crashes into an empty house next to Lily's villa. When Atlas is homeless and he doesn't have anywhere to go, he just comes and breaks into the house next to Lily's, and Lily helps him with all the daily necessities like clothes and food, medicines and stuff. Furthermore, their friendship blossoms into love, but it doesn't really fructify as Atlas has to leave. This book really gave me a lot of knowledge about domestic abuse and how to deal with it.

There is a lot of things he does and the one main thing I want to share now is he finds the people with sacrificing to live for their daily needs or finding their daily needs. He always tries to find out the persons like that and try to help them with the basic amenities for their home and try to contact with them for months. It's a big thing for me because everyone can say that I will help you but it's not sure and always it's a word actually. Everyone can say word but in our

Well there are a lot of persons in my life whom I have seen contributing to society however today I would like to talk about a person who contributes to society, he is none other than my grandfather, he was a professor at Chitkara University in agricultural course, so he know a lot about plants and pesticides, so he know a lot about plants and pesticides, also I have seen him converting a back yard into a huge garden, he is very fond of gardening also he has a lot of knowledge about plants and flowers, initially he grew flowers like jasmine, rose, marigold and later then he started growing vegetables and fruits there such as tomato and many more, he use to prefer eat only organic things because he know that in today's world there is a lot of use of chemicals and pesticides.

A person I think who contributes to the society is the founder and CEO of the company that I'm currently working with. I have known him since January 2024 by through an internship offer. So I have greatly inspired by his story, how he wants to educate school students on space science because he once lacked the opportunity and he started his own company in 2020 to educate school students and he trained many students on space science like aerodynamics, rocketry and satellites. So more than 25,000 students have been trained through his initiative and still there are workshops and industrial visits and internship offers being given to many students all across the nation. He even takes up many interstate workshops where the staff have to travel to Delhi, Orissa or even Noida sometimes. So we find those rural areas and it is really difficult for the students to get access about these kind of advanced technology topics like space. So we offer them training on this space science tech and I really admire him because he's giving the chances to students that he once couldn't get because of his financial situation. Yeah, so he's one of the person whom I think who contributes to the society very much.

I believe teachers are the people who contribute the most towards the building of the society. And I believe this as the teachers, they build citizens of tomorrow. They have always taught selflessly. They have given the value education to the little people, to the little citizens of tomorrow, the future. They build the ones who are actually in charge of the country in the future. And they will take charge, they will make and break the society into new and better tomorrow. So I believe that is the reason I think teachers contribute the most. They teach us not only just subjects but also the way we lead our life. If a student is influenced by a good teacher at the early stages of his or her life, it may change the way the student perceives the world around him or her. For example, I had a teacher who used to teach my mother tongue Bengali back then in our school. And she was very kind back in my primary days. She was very kind and she always taught us to help others. She always spoke so friendly and that is the way we grew up. The children who got exposure to her, we grew up thinking being friendly, being helpful, being kind is normal. It is the standards. So she set the bar so high and we as children didn't realize how much effort it took. We just, without thinking much of it, we just followed her. And it was easy. If a child grows up cruelly and then tries to be kind, it might be difficult. But for someone who grew up with the same kindness,

I'm talking about APJ Abdul Kalam. He was the president of India and he contributed in many fields like science and technology and even in many other fields. He was a boy from a small town in Tamil Nadu. He faced a lot of challenges and finally he achieved what he wanted to do. And he contributed many things to this society and it has a great impact on the society too.

Firstly the person I know who contributes to society is my mom. She grow a plant in the backyard of our house and we get fresh fruits and vegetables from there and fresh oxygen too. They help in taking carbon dioxide. Moreover it is very helpful for the neighbors too to get fresh air. Or the person who is passing by our house is having a different type of aroma. As I don't live near any industrial area where the smoke and pollution are usually found. So instead of that my mother try to grow some plants which give basic natural fruits or vegetables. And she has a vast knowledge about plants and pesticides.

The person here I would like to talk about is Diljit Dosanjh. He is a popular Punjabi singer and considered among the most popular people in India. Not only in India, he is famous all over the world. I came to know about him from listening his song Chhala, which was recommended to me by my friend Sara. This song is based on about how people used to live in the history or past and how they are living right now. He is a very kind person and always stood first in helping their country. He always gave 10% of his payments in charity and also organized welfare camps for people. From his interview, I came to know about that during recent floods, he has adopted many villages in Punjab and contribute in rebuilding them. I think he is the one who encourage me the most and motivates me to do better, to achieve my goals and serve my country in more better way. He is a very kind hearted person and always look forward to help people. If I would get a chance, I would love to meet this kind of personality as it's rare to find such people in this world right now.

The world is brimmed with different kinds of people. Some are optimistic, some are pessimistic and some are jack-of-all-trades. But here I would like to talk about a person who contributes to the society. She is none other than an apple of my eye, my mother. She is in her late 40s and she is a philanthropist. She is a down-to-earth personality. She always encourages me to do best in my life and tries to lend a helping hand to needy people. I think there are many various ways from which they contribute to the society. Firstly, she is a teacher and she always assists poor people in studying. She always lends a helping hand towards poor people and destitute sections. She always reflects the saying that Rome was not built in a day. She was not born with a silver spoon but she found the midnight oil to hit the jackpot in her life. Overall, I think my mother is a great person. She always contributes to the society. I think she is a role model of mine and I can learn so many things from her.

Well, one person who immediately comes to my mind is Sonu Sood, an Indian actor who became widely admired by his incredible social work, especially during COVID-19 pandemic. I first came to know about him through news channels and social media posts that highlighted how he was helping thousands of people who were stranded during lockdown. He arranged transportations for migrant workers to return home safely, provided medical support and even helped students who are struggling to pay their fees. What makes him truly remarkable is that he didn't do all this for publicity. He used his own resources and built a team that will continue to support people in need. I think he sets an example of empathy and his willingness to take action when most people simply sympathise. He has shown that fame and influence can actually be used for something meaningful. Personally, I admire him not just as an actor but as a compassionate human being. His work inspires me to believe that even small acts of kindness can make a big difference in society.
