When I was a kid, I had a little pencil box which had these four buttons which gave the pencil box an operative use. When you press the button, the box would open up. When you press the second button, a little part of it would slide out. Basically it was just a little electronical and a fun thing to have and I owned it when I was in 6th. One day after break, I was standing and talking there with one of my friends and another friend of mine was running through the hallway and accidentally she pushed my shoulder and my pencil box hit the ground and it broke into multiple pieces to the point that it was not functional anymore.

It Ends With Us is a book I read recently. It's by the author Colleen Hoare. It's mainly a story about two teenagers, Atlas and Lily, and how they just handle their life going through high school, adolescence, and just domestic violence at home. Both of them come from very, very different families. However, they have one common determining factor between them, which is domestic violence. The abuse that they've seen their moms go through is just insane, and they connect through that on a different level. They're actually in the same high school, but they never speak to each other until Atlas actually crashes into an empty house next to Lily's villa. When Atlas is homeless and he doesn't have anywhere to go, he just comes and breaks into the house next to Lily's, and Lily helps him with all the daily necessities like clothes and food, medicines and stuff. Furthermore, their friendship blossoms into love, but it doesn't really fructify as Atlas has to leave. This book really gave me a lot of knowledge about domestic abuse and how to deal with it.

So, back in February, I had the opportunity to watch the live musical of Phantom of the Opera. It's a Broadway musical which was presented at the Neeta Mukesh Ambani Cultural Center. The actors had traveled all the way from England and it was the first time I was seeing a live performance like that, so it was a brilliant experience. The music, the production, that feeling of the whole crowd experiencing something together, feeling the same emotions at the same time, it was pretty unforgettable. I actually came back home and looked up the soundtrack, which is available on Spotify and I listen to that very often, partly because I really enjoy the music and partly because it's, like, reminiscing about the show. I really wish I get the opportunity to see it again, maybe in the UK sometime.

So, two years ago, I watched live performance of a stand-up comedian who is called Kenny Sebastian. He is a widely popular stand-up comedian and he's done many shows and has many fans, especially concentrated in Bangalore because his jokes are rooted in Bangalore because that's where he grew up and collected his experiences from. I watched this along with my siblings and my friends as we'd gone to a youth festival called Under 25. We watched him go live for the first time and it was a surreal experience because I personally am a fan of his stand-up comedy and I've laughed on multiple occasions while watching his stand-up comedy and watching him live was a great experience. His timing, his humor, everything was on point and although there were a lot of people blocking my vision, I could still hear him speak and that was enough. I didn't need to look at his body language for the jokes to work and all in all, it was an amazing experience and it was a fan-meeting ridal.

Last month, I went to a nearby stadium to watch Ronaldo performing archery in it. I was literally mesmerized with his accuracy and his shots. They were, the shots performed by him were very accurate and very precise. Unfortunately, it's not even possible for a normal human to do that. That range of accuracy requires a lot of practice and training and a good coach to train those particular things up. I went there along with my friends and family as well. We all were surprised by their stunts. I dream to become like Ronaldo one day and hopefully I will also get a good coach for me who can help me practice these stunts and who will help me to become as good as Ronaldo. The price of the ticket was a lot. It was around 10,000 per person which decreased the total number of audience but increased the quality of audience and only the persons who were interested and keen on the archery attended the event which reduced the number of viewers.

The performance which I enjoy watching is Zakir Khan's show. I recently watched his Delilu Express on August where he mentioned about his past experiences on how low he was what kind of jobs he used to play, what kind of job he used to do and how his family supported him during all that. The way he performs, the way he portrays comedy with real life events, it's a genre where I get more connected with and his shairis, it also helps me connect more deeply.

The performance that which recently I have enjoyed is a music concert by Sonia Sershan. Sonia Sershan is the face of Goan music and jazz from the 90s in Goa. Recently she performed in Museum of Goa which was based on their 10th anniversary and it was just a full blown introduction of myself to Goan music and this music also helped me to understand more about the culture, the language of Portuguese in Goan music and how the people of Goa have taken it to the heart even though Portuguese is not their native language. The music has its own culture, the way of rhythms which is mostly involved through the roots of people in Goa and through Sonia Sershan's voice we could also understand how depth the music rooted in the people. So jazz and Goan music considered with

So, hello. So, today I am going to talk about my experience witnessing one of Preetham Das concert. So, yeah, last year I was living in Mysore and Mysore has this tradition of celebrating their Dusshera festival with a lot of grandeur performances. The government organizes a concert that includes both northern and southern regional artists and it's completely free for the public to attend. So, this year a lot of northern artists such as Preetham, Sunidhi Chauhan and Zubin Nautiyal were there to perform for the audience and I went to the Preetham Das concert. Preetham is a very famous, very reputed Indian composer. He has worked in like plenty of Indian movies and his music is very nostalgic for most of my generation as well as people who were huge music geeks in like early 2000s till late 2000s. So, yeah, that day when I went to see the concert, I went alone. I wasn't, I was supposed to go with my friends but they couldn't be able to attend it. So, I was bit sad that I was there all alone and I wouldn't be able to share this experience with my friends but the connection I felt with his music, the memories that have grown to nurture for so long had resurfaced and that made me very emotionally moved. That had a huge impact on me emotionally. Thank you.

I remember a live performance by a singer called Zubin Garg from Assam. I'm basically from Assam and he's a very famous singer in my state. So basically he's a folk singer and he sings and he has many songs in his coveted playlist. So the performance that I'm excited to describe about him was in a festival called Zero Festival in Arunachal Pradesh. I was there in the last month of June. We were a group of 5 friends who visited there. It was a 3-4 days festival and the singer Zubin Garg was performing there. He was performing there with 4-5 of his very famous songs. The song I particularly liked of him was Mayabini. It is an Assamese song which is a tribute to a lover who has been away from you for very long. So we enjoyed the performance totally. He was very good with the mic and he is very unique in comparison to the singers now who use auto-tune and everything to enhance their musical performance. He was a real singer to the core of his heart.
