When I was a kid, I had a little pencil box which had these four buttons which gave the pencil box an operative use. When you press the button, the box would open up. When you press the second button, a little part of it would slide out. Basically it was just a little electronical and a fun thing to have and I owned it when I was in 6th. One day after break, I was standing and talking there with one of my friends and another friend of mine was running through the hallway and accidentally she pushed my shoulder and my pencil box hit the ground and it broke into multiple pieces to the point that it was not functional anymore.

It Ends With Us is a book I read recently. It's by the author Colleen Hoare. It's mainly a story about two teenagers, Atlas and Lily, and how they just handle their life going through high school, adolescence, and just domestic violence at home. Both of them come from very, very different families. However, they have one common determining factor between them, which is domestic violence. The abuse that they've seen their moms go through is just insane, and they connect through that on a different level. They're actually in the same high school, but they never speak to each other until Atlas actually crashes into an empty house next to Lily's villa. When Atlas is homeless and he doesn't have anywhere to go, he just comes and breaks into the house next to Lily's, and Lily helps him with all the daily necessities like clothes and food, medicines and stuff. Furthermore, their friendship blossoms into love, but it doesn't really fructify as Atlas has to leave. This book really gave me a lot of knowledge about domestic abuse and how to deal with it.

A live performance that I really enjoyed watching was Bhangra in my college. There was an annual day celebration in our college. There are so many performances being done on that day. The most favorite performance of mine was the Bhangra which was performed by approximately ten boys. They did a bravo job that day. All the audience was so cheerful watching them doing Bhangra and everyone started dancing and shouting. I really love doing Bhangra. I am really fond of doing Bhangra. In our family weddings, whenever I get the chance to do dance, I never let back. I just go and do dancing. In all the dancing forms, Bhangra is my most favorite form of dance. I really enjoyed watching the Bhangra dance in my college time.

A live performance that I really enjoyed watching was the singing of a local musician called TaeTae. So she is one of the most renowned singers in my community. I enjoy her live performances mostly because she herself plays the guitar and while she sings her various numbers, she also tells stories behind every song. I find the storytelling part of the live performance most fascinating. It's very encouraging as well to watch somebody take the responsibility of archiving the traditional stories, folk tales and folk songs of the past and modernizing it, giving it a very innovative twist of collaborating traditional with the modern forms of music. She plays a lot of lead guitar and a few solo pieces here and there on the guitar. And then of course her melodious singing. She is also very playful with the melodies and the tune. A little bit of R&B, a lot of blues and a dash of jazz. So all in all, her live performances are always very engaging and they keep your curiosity light, lighted, sparked.

One live performance that I truly enjoyed watching was a stage play called Rajat Raj. It was performed by a well-known theatre group that specializes in historical and cultural dramas. The performers were professional stage artists and their acting skills were extremely impressive. The performance was a traditional theatrical play based on historical themes. It combined powerful dialogue delivery, expressive acting, and dramatic background music and vibrant costumes. The story revolved around a strong and righteous king, highlighting themes such as leadership, sacrifice, justice, and moral values. I watched this play a few years ago during a cultural festival held in a large auditorium. It was a live performance and most people in the hall were very energetic. The audience was completely engaged and there were moments when everyone applauded loudly after the intense scene. I enjoyed this performance mainly because of the emotional depth and realism of the acting. The actors made the characters feel alive.

I went to Seoul, Korea a few years before. I just went there for a good look around the local streets when I heard that my favorite band BTS was performing. The BTS is a seven member group band which is one of the best in whole of the world and I was pretty excited to be able to see them in Seoul and it was the perfect timing for it. I reached the Seoul International Stadium by 9 p.m. in the night and it was very very exciting. The whole stadium was flooded with trillions of fans holding light bulbs and a lot of billboards and placards each depicting the names of the members. The seven members were Kim Namjoon, Kim Seokjin, Min Yoongi, Jang Hoseok, Park Jimin, Kim Taehyung, Jeon Jungkook and they were all amazing. The thing that captivated me the most was the way they moved their hips, the way they sang their songs, how each of their voices were unique and how they captured the attention of the audience. They had a total aura and a beautiful rhythm in their hearts, souls, voices and minds.

This was a concert, live concert by Palak Machal. She is a Bollywood singer and has completed more than a decade in Bollywood. The main reason I admire her a lot is because all the money that she gets from her concert goes for charity. She helps people with heart diseases and not a single money is with her. She only collects the money that she does for recordings and not for the concerts. Back then in 2018, I was a huge fan of reality shows. So there was this one show called Voice India Kids and that is when I came to know about her. She was a judge in that particular reality show. She gave a different kind of aura that really connected with me and I felt the need to research a lot about her. And that's when I found out that she does charity and any amount that she gets in the concert completely is donated for the young kids between the age of 2 to 14. This concert was in 2019 in Bangalore. I am from Chennai, so going to Bangalore alone was not something that's possible since I was only in 10th or 11th grade back then. My dad took me for that concert and constantly he had a work trip in Mumbai the previous day and just because I loved her so much, he took the effort to come and pick me up. And hence, this was a very memorable concert for me. And the main reason that I enjoyed this concert was that I got to go on stage and moreover, I've had the opportunity to meet the singer twice, once both the times at her house itself. She displays a different kind of aura when I'm around her, which makes it feel very calming, relaxing and lastly, the concert would always end with a bhajan, which makes it very...

I was recently on a college trip to Jammu and Kashmir. The resort we were staying at had this beautiful, beautiful outlook towards the city and the mountains and one of the best things about that place is the culture. There is this particular dance form called Kalbeliya that the women there perform and it is so stunning. I really enjoyed the performance. The whole dance is about movements and flexibility. Not only is there a bit of a rest that they take, they have fires in their hands when they're dancing around with it. It's a beautiful art form and... The performance that I really enjoyed was this particular dance form called Kalbeliya which is performed native to Jammu and Kashmir in India. I was on a college expediture when I saw that. The whole concept of the dance is that ladies dress in beautiful, heavy, dotted gowns and they have fire in their arms and they dance with it. The dance symbolises power, strength, the very importance of balance, love and power. Not only that, there is a very, very interesting twist when they stand on this plate called the thali and they have to balance themselves on top of that and I really loved it because it actually shows how women of ancient India have been so bugged into being a working woman as well as someone who is taking care of the house. It shows the incredible strength that these ladies have been showing since the beginning of the world and I really love it. I love how it's demonstrated through a dance.

Recently I went for a live concert of Enrique. He is a well-known singer. I have been listening to his songs since my childhood and I really enjoyed his music. It was melodious. I went with my friends and my family. He performed in Delhi NCR region and JLM stadium where we went. There were beautiful songs he played like Lowing Back, Loving You. These are the songs. His album has always been very close to my heart. The performance has impacted me in a very positive way. It changed my mindset. The kind of things he said on stage, the struggle he had to reach at this place, what changed him. He has explained all his problems in a beautiful way and how he was able to overcome that. He also explained that standing over there wasn't an easy task. He also expressed about what is the reason and why he has chosen this particular hobby. The concert was really, really fantabulous, excellent. All the songs which he sang had a memory. It brings back all the memory which I had of my childhood also growing up until now. If given chance, I would definitely going to attend his concert again.

Last year, I got two free tickets for an Ed Sheeran concert. I was over the moon because it was the first time Ed Sheeran was coming to India and he's one of my most favourite artists. I have been listening to his songs ever since I was 12 years old and I continued to do so throughout my teenage years. He has inspired me in lots of ways and his songs just have a magical touch that lighten any room. So when I received these tickets, I immediately contacted one of my closest friends and asked her if she would like to go with me to the concert. Obviously, it was Ed Sheeran, so no one in their right minds would say no. So she accompanied me and we went to the concert. It was a very amazing day as both of us got ready and we managed our transport on our own. This was the first time I was going so far so late at night only with a friend and it will always be my favourite college memory. In this concert, there were thousands of people and there were also food joints that people could buy from. So my friend and I knew each and every song and we sang along with Ed Sheeran. Overall, it was a great experience. It was my first time being in a concert and I had lots of fun. However, Ed Sheeran won't be coming back to India anytime soon. But if he does, I will 100% go to his concert again as it was a lifetime's worth memory.

A live performance that I thoroughly enjoyed watching was a musical singing concert by Sonu Negam, which I attended two months back with my parents. My parents have always been interested in attending concerts because they see people talking about it, mainly people of my generation. But I always thought that they aren't made for these concerts because you need to be standing throughout the concert and it would be very hectic for parents to do that. Therefore, I was waiting for a particular concert to come in which might have fitting arrangements for elderly and who might be someone that my parents will be able to relate to or will know him very well. I was very happy when I saw Sonu Negam coming with his concert in Hyderabad and I booked the tickets which were in the platinum setting and it was a very good feeling to take my parents to that particular concert and have them enjoy the beautiful vibe that concert has. Sonu Negam was very, very cordial and he made sure that all the age groups from the crowd enjoyed it by singing his songs that were from old time to new time and everything he covered in that. It was really, really a wonderful experience in the concert and I'm really glad I had this opportunity to take my parents to the concert.

When I was 12 years old, I first watched a play, an adaptation of the short fiction by Oscar Wilde, The Gift of the Majai, in our school. This play was named The Gift of the Majai and it was performed by high school students on our school's annual day. And I still remember the feelings that rushed through my veins as I watched the play. The sheer beauty and simplicity of the play and the emotions that the actors tried to express through their performance, it simply moved me. It had a huge impact on me and to this day, I still remember the play vividly and it makes me very happy as I reminisce it. Quite early on, it made me realize the importance of human relations, the beauty that there is in sacrificing your own needs for someone else and how love can become all-encompassing in one's life, such that it makes you a better person. And personally, it had a huge impact on me and I feel that it had changed me as a person then, it continues to change me as a person now. And it is one of the reasons why that play also had an influence in my artistic skills and me wanting to become an actor, me wanting to go into the field of acting. The sheer beauty of performance and acting had that impact on me.
