When I was a kid, I had a little pencil box which had these four buttons which gave the pencil box an operative use. When you press the button, the box would open up. When you press the second button, a little part of it would slide out. Basically it was just a little electronical and a fun thing to have and I owned it when I was in 6th. One day after break, I was standing and talking there with one of my friends and another friend of mine was running through the hallway and accidentally she pushed my shoulder and my pencil box hit the ground and it broke into multiple pieces to the point that it was not functional anymore.

It Ends With Us is a book I read recently. It's by the author Colleen Hoare. It's mainly a story about two teenagers, Atlas and Lily, and how they just handle their life going through high school, adolescence, and just domestic violence at home. Both of them come from very, very different families. However, they have one common determining factor between them, which is domestic violence. The abuse that they've seen their moms go through is just insane, and they connect through that on a different level. They're actually in the same high school, but they never speak to each other until Atlas actually crashes into an empty house next to Lily's villa. When Atlas is homeless and he doesn't have anywhere to go, he just comes and breaks into the house next to Lily's, and Lily helps him with all the daily necessities like clothes and food, medicines and stuff. Furthermore, their friendship blossoms into love, but it doesn't really fructify as Atlas has to leave. This book really gave me a lot of knowledge about domestic abuse and how to deal with it.

Since my childhood, I have had a lot of friends, but one friend in particular that I really like to talk with is a girl named Sumedha. She has been my friend since class 7, since when I was a 12-year-old girl. I like talking to her since we have a lot of common ground on which we can talk to each other, be it movies, to celebrations, to hating the same kind of teachers back in school or even sharing the same interests regarding various kinds of hobbies.

I met her during my college days. Her name is Sonika. Initially, when I saw her for the first time, I find her very ordinary. She's just a simple person who likes to smile a lot. But with time, I grew fond of her. I find her very charming and I get attracted towards her kind and simple nature. She is a giver. She helps people without even expecting anything in return. She's an amazing person. I find myself very lucky that I got a chance to meet a person like her. I like to discuss a lot with her. I can talk to her about any topic. But recently, I love to discuss various aspects of life like career, marriage, and people. She's an amazing person. She's a good listener. She listens to people very well. She tries to understand them. Even if she's not understanding the opinion of the other person, she still respects that person and she doesn't judge anyone for being the way they are. She is a very intelligent person.

A friend who truly inspired me is John, an international business entrepreneur whom I met at a business seminar. I didn't expect to have such an engaging conversation with him at first but ended up talking for a long time and I got to learn a lot from him. What inspired me most was his ability to make smart decisions in both business and life. He shared how he started his business from scratch and faced many challenges but always stayed positive. His decision-making skills and strategic thinking really encouraged me to approach problems differently. Another thing that stood out about him was the ability to talk a lot but in an interesting way. He had so many stories to share from his travel around the globe to his experience working in different cultures. I usually get bored with long conversations but with him, I was completely engaged. Even though he was from another country, he spoke Hindi fluently which surprised me. He told me he had lived in India for a few years and fell in love with the culture and language. This made me respect him even more because he had put in effort to connect with people on a deeper level. If I ever get a chance to meet him again, I would love to learn more about his experience. His personality, knowledge and outlook on life have truly left a lasting impression on me.

I like to talk to my friend Vignesh. We usually talk about daily stuff, how we went about the day. Going further into the talk, we like to talk about philosophical stuff. We get into very deep emotional things such as society, marriage or any specific topic that evokes deep thoughts and reopens a perspective. I like to talk to him because I like to see his perspective on things which I wouldn't really go about or think about. Moreover, he really understands and does not really judge when I talk about what I am going through, even probably the most embarrassing things. He will never judge. We like to talk about certain things like our future which involves lot of humour. Sometimes we are really emotional and I can openly cry about things to him.

A friend that I enjoy talking a lot with is my friend Melna. I've known her for over 8 years now and she's one of my closest friends. We talk about a range of topics. Could be the most abundant topic or a topic that is related to our everyday life. I like speaking with her because she's funny, smart and is always happy to help me find my problems. She's kind, loyal, reliable and I knew I wouldn't hesitate to pick up the phone and call her if I ever find myself in trouble. In addition to this, she also embodies a lot of qualities I hope to emulate in my own personality. Most important of them being her sense of empathy and responsibility. She's always quick to think of someone else's needs before hers when it comes to any situation. And to always see the upside of things even when they don't seem very optimistic. It's one of the reasons I love being able to spend so much time with her.

He had a great influence on me because in my childhood I had a few number of friends, including him, and he is my best friend among all those friends. What I like about him is he is able to think outside the box, and it inspired me to not box myself up, so that is one thing that I truly admire about him. And he has a great sense of creativity as well. I cannot compare him with the other friends because he is very smart, and his abilities do not match with any other thing. Spending time with him, it makes me feel like time flies very fast. After our secondary, he left the masjid, and then I was down in the dumps because

She is the sun to my solar system. I always go for advices or some guidance when I need a little hope in my life. I always go to her. She is the most cheerful person I have seen. I think I only trust her because she has seen me in my worst and she has seen me at my best and she has stood up to me in every difficulty and I have always been a part of me. Moreover, I don't think anyone can replace her even in the near future because I genuinely think that she is the best person for advices, for clarity and for guidance that makes up the most of it.
