When I was a kid, I had a little pencil box which had these four buttons which gave the pencil box an operative use. When you press the button, the box would open up. When you press the second button, a little part of it would slide out. Basically it was just a little electronical and a fun thing to have and I owned it when I was in 6th. One day after break, I was standing and talking there with one of my friends and another friend of mine was running through the hallway and accidentally she pushed my shoulder and my pencil box hit the ground and it broke into multiple pieces to the point that it was not functional anymore.

It Ends With Us is a book I read recently. It's by the author Colleen Hoare. It's mainly a story about two teenagers, Atlas and Lily, and how they just handle their life going through high school, adolescence, and just domestic violence at home. Both of them come from very, very different families. However, they have one common determining factor between them, which is domestic violence. The abuse that they've seen their moms go through is just insane, and they connect through that on a different level. They're actually in the same high school, but they never speak to each other until Atlas actually crashes into an empty house next to Lily's villa. When Atlas is homeless and he doesn't have anywhere to go, he just comes and breaks into the house next to Lily's, and Lily helps him with all the daily necessities like clothes and food, medicines and stuff. Furthermore, their friendship blossoms into love, but it doesn't really fructify as Atlas has to leave. This book really gave me a lot of knowledge about domestic abuse and how to deal with it.

After the badminton tournament last evening, I was sitting on a bench with my friend Belle B. Kramer across an Instagram post that said that abortion should not be bad, rather, sorry, abortion should be bad. However, I think that it is completely on a female's choice about whether she wants to abort a child or not. It is her body and I think she alone has the right, not the parents, not the spouse, not the court, not the activists on the roll who are here to decide. When my friend said that, of course, it should be bad, why have the kid in the first place if you really don't want it, well, we are not aware of some choices made by some people, right? We had an argument regarding this. We sorted this out by having a small debate, asking a set of other friends as to what their take was on the following topic and yes, we resolved it. After that, we went to a cafe to grab a cup of coffee.

Today I am going to talk about a topic, describe a disagreement you had with someone. I had issues with my parents when I was 27 and it is nothing but regarding marriage. They wanted me to marry in the age of 27 and I was not ready for it because I had some other desires in my life. I want to travel all over the world. So I did not agree for the marriage. This created a rift between myself and my family. They did not speak with me for almost 2-3 months. This issue lasted for almost 4 years. However, it finally became normal because I found a girl who had a similar interest and we travelled together to multiple countries. After 4 years of travelling, finally we thought of getting married at the age of 31. My parents were happy finally but the girl's parents were not ready and we tried to convince them. After 2 years of long fight, even their parents agreed for our marriage. 2 years back in 2023, March 2nd we got married. Now I would say both my parents and her parents are really happy to get us married. Now we together have travelled to almost 12 countries and I am really happy that I found my girl. If I would have accepted my parents decision for getting married at the age of 27, I never know if I would have been so happy at this time. But I am very much happy that I disagreed for the marriage.

So, I recently went on a meeting with my manager and my colleagues in my office. I actually am a cloud engineer, so yes, we have meetings frequently. We have a team of 15, and in that meeting, I feel like saying, like, disagree with my boss, with my manager, saying that, like, everything we can't manage, right? I am a cloud engineer, he was asking me to handle the support as well. I was like, I can't do both things at the same time, right? So, like, if you want to, if you want me to do it, give me some salary at least, give me double salary at least, because I am doing two kinds of things, right? So yes, I disagreed with them, but after then, I was like, I should have done it was only for one month, because the lead of support wasn't there for a month. He was on a paternity leave or something, I don't know. But I have an idea that he was, he is on a paternity leave. So yes, for one month, they can give me double salary, right, if they want me to work overtime. So yes, also, if I'll do my job and doing the other's job as well, I won't be able to focus on my own work. I am a cloud engineer, and there are multiple things I have to take care of. There is a, there is like a team of support, why don't he ask to them, he asked me, I'm already handling so many things, I can't do it. I just said him, he was like, no, you have to do it because it's a startup, you have to manage it, you have to manage all the things at once, you should know how to manage.

The recent disagreement I had with this person is my very close friend and the disagreement was about how when it comes to a woman and we speak for ourselves and whenever some certain issue happens to a woman, be it cheating, betrayal or a woman is going through some assault or have faced some molestation in the past and when we come up and say men will be men and the guy, my friend, the guys come up and they start defending, no, it's not all men because of the simple fact that not all men are same but the fact that even we know all men are same, it's just a line which simply says men will be men and they are not going to change but the people, the guy, especially the men who are defending this that no, not me, it simply triggers the other person and makes the wound even more worse. So which is why the topic when the femininity and masculinity arises, the topic of these two crucial subjects arises, my friend and I have very diabolical opinions on this and we disagree on that a lot and that's the recent disagreement I had with my close friend. No wonder he is not defending himself but he has a different perspective, so do I.

Decision making is the most vital role in an individual's life, but today I will tell you once my experience in which I had a disagreement with my parents. So the disagreement was on that they want me to further pursue my higher studies, medical studies from India, but I wanted to study and be a successful doctor in a foreign country. So this was a total disagreement which today I will tell you. So as my parents want me to study in India and stay with them in India and take care of them, they wanted me to study from the local colleges, but I don't want to study from the local colleges because they do not have so much facilities and do not have as high professional professors or teachers in the colleges, in that college. So I had to take admission in government college, it is very tough to take admission in government college because in India, because you have to clear the NEET exam, NEET entrance exam which is, whose difficulty level was increasing year to year and the cut off for general categories is also increasing every year. So it is very difficult to take admission after clearing NEET exam and after researching some of the, after researching about the, about the facilities and education provided by the foreign countries colleges and universities, it just astonished me, astonished me so much that I have aimed to become a doctor in India, become a doctor in India.

There was one incident that has struck with me for a while now. I had a disagreement with one of my professors in college regarding the marking criteria for an assignment. The disagreement came up because I felt like some of the students who have worked really hard to get the assignment done were marked in an unfair manner. I felt like the students who had more potential were looked down upon. The issue was eventually resolved with other authorities being involved. They have looked into the matter in a more systematic and deeper manner and they felt like students were in fact affected by it in a very unfair manner. It was not a fault from the student's side. Nothing much changed after the disagreement because once it got solved, everybody just went back to their everyday lives and their everyday happenings in college.

I had a disagreement with a neighbor of mine. At one occasion, both of us were in the same car and he was driving, when he made this remark that women dress for men. And that remark triggered me because I am a staunch feminist. Such remarks come from a place of patriarchy, assumed patriarchy, I guess, and also from a place of literal lack of knowledge on issues faced by women. The statement was problematic because it places the responsibility on the woman to cover themselves or to project themselves in a manner that do not provoke men to commit violence against them. Which is completely wrong, considering that it is the men who have to change their attitude towards women on how they view and also on how they view them.
