When I was a kid, I had a little pencil box which had these four buttons which gave the pencil box an operative use. When you press the button, the box would open up. When you press the second button, a little part of it would slide out. Basically it was just a little electronical and a fun thing to have and I owned it when I was in 6th. One day after break, I was standing and talking there with one of my friends and another friend of mine was running through the hallway and accidentally she pushed my shoulder and my pencil box hit the ground and it broke into multiple pieces to the point that it was not functional anymore.

It Ends With Us is a book I read recently. It's by the author Colleen Hoare. It's mainly a story about two teenagers, Atlas and Lily, and how they just handle their life going through high school, adolescence, and just domestic violence at home. Both of them come from very, very different families. However, they have one common determining factor between them, which is domestic violence. The abuse that they've seen their moms go through is just insane, and they connect through that on a different level. They're actually in the same high school, but they never speak to each other until Atlas actually crashes into an empty house next to Lily's villa. When Atlas is homeless and he doesn't have anywhere to go, he just comes and breaks into the house next to Lily's, and Lily helps him with all the daily necessities like clothes and food, medicines and stuff. Furthermore, their friendship blossoms into love, but it doesn't really fructify as Atlas has to leave. This book really gave me a lot of knowledge about domestic abuse and how to deal with it.

Disagreement I had with someone. I did have disagreement with someone when I was in 7th grade. Her name was Sanchi Agarwal. She was the class leader. I was also class representative at that time. We had a thing that we would say a diary entry where all the teachers would write about their subject homework in the diary and then we need to go and give it to the respective in-charge teacher and take the sign. It would be basically one day I would take the diary and go for the sign, the other day she would take the diary and go for the sign of the in-charge teacher. I was really happy doing that work. At one point she told me that I always go to take sign from the in-charge teacher and we don't go at all. Why don't you do all the work? You don't mind the class nicely. You are always careless. I didn't agree to that. I told her I did all my work properly. I told her that she should look into the matter and remember the things what I did in the past. But she had no idea about it. She lied and told me that no, that's not true. Then I came to the conclusion that I would never speak to her because she was very rude to me always. She used to fight to me and we would never agree on a single thing. If she used to say something I would not agree on that. If I used to say something she would not agree on that. We always had chaos between us. After that when we came into the 8th standard, I was not class representative, even she was not class representative. Our place was together on the second bench. We used to sit together all day and at that moment I got to know her, she got to know me and we became best friends.

On Friday we were having a meeting in my office and we were discussing some ideas that were given to us. So four people had to make options for one project. So when we were discussing, when my turn came, I had to present my idea, I did. And there was some disagreement about whether, I had two options. So it was the debate that which option we were agreeing on. I agreed on a first option but my colleagues happened to like the second option. Then I was justifying my option because I put my heart and soul into that option and I really liked it. And I thought that it could be a really nice project, unique option to have. So I explained my points, my perspective, my point of view to them and they ended up liking it.

Okay, so a recent disagreement that I had was with my college roommate and my best friend with whom I had shared a room for three years. So the disagreement was about the effects of pollution in Delhi, which is affecting our health. So his part of the argument was that due to the high level of pollution, all the people in Delhi have become immune to pollution and other lung diseases, such as which may arise from smoking and inhaling other forms of gases. So which I completely disagree because I feel like pollution has deteriorated our health and like no matter what we do, we cannot recover from the damage which has been caused due to the pollution and it has already affected many teenagers and many households in India and it doesn't make us immune to any, immune to smoking cigarettes or lung cancer. On the contrary, it accelerates the effects of all these things because we already have so much of harmful substances in our lungs. Yeah the issue was later resolved when other of my friends who were in the same room agreed with me and we made him understand that the effects does not make a person immune. It is only making the condition of the people in Delhi worse. So, yeah.

I think the most memorable disagreement that I've ever had with someone was with my mom and the disagreement was about my way of how I study and learn things because in India you're really supposed to memorize everything and not really understand but my mom of course wants me to understand stuff but I think like in Indian schools many people many teachers many schools do not really care about what you learn they just want you to earn good marks and as long as you pass they don't care about it so I learned so I figured out a way to crack school exams alongside learning which helped me get really good marks almost as much as the person who came first in our class my mom's side of the argument was that she she she wanted me to she wanted me to study things properly instead of just memorizing them and try to learn and try and focus on the concepts but I wasn't really up for that because all of the subjects in Indian schools are really boring including all of the topics and this disagreement was not never really resolved because every time an exam or a test series comes up I'm always using my method and she wants me to use her method once but I'm never really up for it because I find my method easier every time we have this disagreement during a test series it just we just don't talk about it after some time and everything is back to normal

So, I would like to talk about my office colleague, Ms. Bhavna, where I had a disagreement regarding the TT tournament. As we were part of the organizing committee and we were supposed to make the rules of the game and decide how many matches would be played. So, she conducted the draw with some discrepancy and there was a lot of misconduct of the matches. So, everything went to the management and the management decided to do the draws again as firstly it was done in a haphazard manner. So, we conducted the draws again and decided who will play against whom through a fair means. So, apart from that everything got sorted after that and we were on a common conclusion on how to conduct the matches. This argument between us continued for 2-3 weeks and we were not in a good phase to play the matches as well, but after some time everything got sorted and we joined hands again and played our matches regularly in a friendly manner. So, all in all it was a heated argument, but finally we patched up and conducted the TT tournament in a fair manner.

I had a disagreement with the person, the person is my TL because I disagreed with, disagreed with that person with several issues like he is not managing the team, entire team, that responsibilities and kindness is not good, so I want to disagree with my TL and that issue is not still resolved.

Yesterday I had a disagreement with my brother regarding a social issue. There was some issues created by the government which is being ruled by the Communist Party. My brother was a part of the Communist Party and I was a part of the Congress Party. The Communist Party had left ideas or leftist ideas while the Congress had right side ideas or right movements. So, my disagreement with my brother was regarding the policies of current communist left government. When this issue occurred, my mother came and resolved our issue by communicating to us effectively.

    Band 6-7

I had a disagreement with my teacher, where she wanted me to do her homework as well as other teacher's homework in just one week. Every day, every particular subject teacher gives us a homework which every teacher wants completed by the next week on the same day. So we had this disagreement on the homework cannot be completed in one week of every single teacher. However, this issue wasn't fully resolved, but it was at least reduced where every teacher now gives less homework compared to what she was giving before the disagreement. And now, after the disagreement, even the teachers agreed that giving too much homework from every single teacher can be a pressure and the kids won't be able to complete the homework of every single teacher in the same of the whole week in the next week.

    Band 6-7

So the person who I had a disagreement with was a close friend of mine. So basically we were talking about politics or some other things going on within the country. And she suddenly said that we should not care about the political state or any kind of politics. And that really hit a nerve. I was like, how could you say that? Politics affects everybody and we should be well aware of what's happening in our country. And we had this argument for a long time. And at the end I realized it was a useless argument as the issue was left unresolved. And after the argument we just seemed awkward. But she seemed normal, but I just couldn't feel the same way as before because I just felt like a person needs to have political awareness. And I don't think I've talked to her properly after that. But I still feel like we could talk about it and maybe we'll resolve it someday and be on the same page.

The social issues I would like to talk about are the betting apps and the gaming apps. Recently my cousin invested a lot of money in these apps and lost all the money to the scams. Even though I warned him several times, he refused my idea and invested all his savings and his parents' savings in these apps and eventually lost all his money. He also took loans from different banks and invested that amount in these apps. Now he is in a huge debt of nearly 6 lakhs. Moreover, now he is out of this addiction and trying to find some work to repay these loans. We also filed a case in the police station and even though we know that we will not get the money back, atleast we have to try something rather than sitting idle. Eventually he is getting out of the trauma and finding ways to recover the loans.
