When I was a kid, I had a little pencil box which had these four buttons which gave the pencil box an operative use. When you press the button, the box would open up. When you press the second button, a little part of it would slide out. Basically it was just a little electronical and a fun thing to have and I owned it when I was in 6th. One day after break, I was standing and talking there with one of my friends and another friend of mine was running through the hallway and accidentally she pushed my shoulder and my pencil box hit the ground and it broke into multiple pieces to the point that it was not functional anymore.

    Answer

It Ends With Us is a book I read recently. It's by the author Colleen Hoare. It's mainly a story about two teenagers, Atlas and Lily, and how they just handle their life going through high school, adolescence, and just domestic violence at home. Both of them come from very, very different families. However, they have one common determining factor between them, which is domestic violence. The abuse that they've seen their moms go through is just insane, and they connect through that on a different level. They're actually in the same high school, but they never speak to each other until Atlas actually crashes into an empty house next to Lily's villa. When Atlas is homeless and he doesn't have anywhere to go, he just comes and breaks into the house next to Lily's, and Lily helps him with all the daily necessities like clothes and food, medicines and stuff. Furthermore, their friendship blossoms into love, but it doesn't really fructify as Atlas has to leave. This book really gave me a lot of knowledge about domestic abuse and how to deal with it.

So if I have to describe any one of my unforgettable experience, I would surely do one that has recently happened with me and that comes to my mind first. It was my college farewell. So as I have just completed my bachelors and I am transitioning myself into a new world where I will have to face new people. When my college ended and it was my farewell, there was a different feeling for me where I could see all those faces who have spent last four years with me and every single second we were together doing all the things you can expect from a college student and at that moment when it hit me hard and I felt that we won't be seeing each other again. So that was a very different feeling for me because few days back, few months back, few years back, we were just hanging out together laughing on silly jokes and there we were all standing facing each other knowing that tomorrow we won't be coming to college, there will be no more classes. So it taught me that life can be very uncertain. There is nothing for granted in your life. You have to value everything you have, you have to value your present, you have to value your past that can help you to build a future and friends are something that can really mold your life. They can have a very impactful signature on your life. So farewell was something which forced me to think a lot about life also, not just because of my friends but because what a future holds for me. So this is one thing I would like to describe as an unforgettable experience.

When I was studying in 6th grade, I saw a little boy injured in his knee. So I took him to the hospital. The doctor said that if you didn't come 10 minutes after, the boy would have lost his leg. This moment was so memorable because I saved a life. And it made me proud because I am a lifesaver. Then I got recognition from my class teacher and principal. Then the boy's parents congratulated me and thanked me for saving his life. Then few days later, the boy came back asking me, why did I help him? Then I replied, it is a very good deed to help ones.

I have always been interested in having new experiences in my life. I have already taken a lot of experience from my friends and cousins and my relatives also. However, I would like to talk about an unforgettable experience that I had. I remember one of my cousins whose name is Hrithik, he came to my house from New Delhi. He bought a new car for the first time and I told him to drive me. I asked him to drive me this car for the first time. Firstly, he was not ready. Then I convinced him and he got ready. We went on a drive and this car has a lot of new features including sunroof, it has power steering, power windows. In that time, in 2014, the features were new as compared to the past times. Apart from that, I drove when I was driving. I was not in that situation, I could drive fast. So, I had to take care of a lot of things. Moreover, it was an amazing experience for me when I dropped this car. It was running smoothly and it has less noise as compared to the old cars.

So, I had one of the unforgettable experiences in my life. I had a near death experience when I was riding a scooter in Goa. I was riding a scooter alone when we were visiting all the churches, beaches on our off day in a 3 day trip to Goa. So, it happened 10 years back from now when I went for a workshop in BITS Planning Goa and we went a day earlier to roam around in Goa. So, the thing made it very unforgettable was like I was about to crash with a road divider and it could have been my end but luckily I turned the scooter in the right direction at the right time which saved me. One of the learning which I took from that was whenever you are turning or in a turning phase we need to slow down the scooter, turn it and then you can accelerate because it's not only your life, it's your family which is dependent on how you are when you are the earning person in the house. So, the whole family depends on you. So, you have to be responsible for you and your family.

It was in my previous company where I was working in the capacity of Associate Director Statistical Programming. I was responsible for the deliveries for the VP of Clinical Operations. We identified that there were certain projects which we could not deliver and they wanted to move out from an old database system to a new database as such. They had hired some consultant and they were charging a bomb. So before even making an offer to them, they wanted to check with us if there is some solution which we can provide. So a meeting was called and we were there in that meeting and when they told us that the consultant was charging almost $20 per unit page as such and in the clinical trial since there are multiple pages, it will cost a huge expenditure for our organization. So based on my previous experience since I had worked in the similar capacity, I tried to get some information from there and I also discussed with some of my colleagues from the different department and we agreed on a plan that let's crack this and get this solved for our organization as such. So we went ahead, had a discussion with the CEO and he agreed to the proposal giving us a timeline of three months. So we took that as a challenge, we got our team formed, we went with an agile methodology and we set up that entire project in a record time of one month and in that we were able to save a lot for the company. Later, my CEO asked me to convert that into a paper.

Everyone came to my home in early morning and surprised me with this fantastic trip. In a hurry I packed my bag and dropped out from my home for this beautiful trip. We took a bus to reach Chandigarh and then a toy train to reach Manali. The place was so marvellous that late night roads with my friends, restaurant food, cracking of jokes, involvement in congregations was such a memorable moment. We visited religious temples, gurudwaras to get knowledge and acquire understanding regarding the histories of that specific spiritual places. This trip made me more closer to my friends and also from that place my photography passion was began. That day my friend taught me some basics of photography and even I clicked various pictures of the natural beauties, natural phenomena and also various group pictures and when I posted it on social media it went viral and this was one of the unforgettable experience for me. Even the pictures I clicked are still with me as a long term memory.

In my life, I got a lot of unforgettable experiences, but from all of them, one of the experiences that I never forgotten. Three months back, with my friends, we went to Uttar Pradesh. Actually, it was not a pre-planned trip. One of my close friends, he brought a new car. So, one day, when we spent at his home, he told me that we want to go for a trip. So, suddenly, we took his car and went to Vatavada. At that time, it was almost early night and the route to Vatavada is through forest area. So, it is so difficult. And when we go in the route, suddenly our car broke down. The main reason that happened is that the tire pressure is low. So, we got a puncture and there is no one to help us. We are stuck inside the forest. When we checked the time, it was almost 2 AM. Then, our family called me and they tried to scold us a lot. At first, they gave our advice that don't go for a trip because it is late night. But, we never take that words. After that, we realized that a pre-planned trip is not good for us.

Life is full of memories that makes it very remembering and the most one valuable memory in I had is when I was a kid who was studying in 6th standard, I travelled along with my uncle and my cousin brother to Madhya Pradesh to their home town. So I was all alone in my compartment along with some two unknown girls. They were also near me. That time I was a small kid and I don't know how to interact with others and I was really scared. I was an introvert type. When we reached the Maharashtra, the train was going to Maharashtra, suddenly a group of transgenders entered our compartment and started interacting with girls not in a good manner and also among the boys they were cuddling with each other and I got very scared of them and a group of young teenagers showed up. They were like they were protecting me actually and they saw my terrified face and they felt sorry for me and they were like ya when these people came, they started saying this is my sister, don't harass her or don't come near to her. They felt like ya being overwhelmed, having a brother is a good feeling when you don't know anyone but they were literally helping me and that was the best memory that I will never forget and after that I started learning so many languages so that I can interact with many people while travelling to other places.
