When I was a kid, I had a little pencil box which had these four buttons which gave the pencil box an operative use. When you press the button, the box would open up. When you press the second button, a little part of it would slide out. Basically it was just a little electronical and a fun thing to have and I owned it when I was in 6th. One day after break, I was standing and talking there with one of my friends and another friend of mine was running through the hallway and accidentally she pushed my shoulder and my pencil box hit the ground and it broke into multiple pieces to the point that it was not functional anymore.

It Ends With Us is a book I read recently. It's by the author Colleen Hoare. It's mainly a story about two teenagers, Atlas and Lily, and how they just handle their life going through high school, adolescence, and just domestic violence at home. Both of them come from very, very different families. However, they have one common determining factor between them, which is domestic violence. The abuse that they've seen their moms go through is just insane, and they connect through that on a different level. They're actually in the same high school, but they never speak to each other until Atlas actually crashes into an empty house next to Lily's villa. When Atlas is homeless and he doesn't have anywhere to go, he just comes and breaks into the house next to Lily's, and Lily helps him with all the daily necessities like clothes and food, medicines and stuff. Furthermore, their friendship blossoms into love, but it doesn't really fructify as Atlas has to leave. This book really gave me a lot of knowledge about domestic abuse and how to deal with it.

Once upon a time I went to a museum and I saw a very beautiful object there and it was a piece of art that I ever saw in my life. It was made with glasses with shimmering pieces of crystal in it and apart from this there is something like made with ribbon that is attached with that creation and that was too beautiful. I was really attracted toward that jar and in addition to this there was something which is added in it with some kind of something which is made with the glue and that thing inside of the jar and that was very good even maybe it was like a marble and those marbles was very colorful and clear and on the top of that the jar was of my favorite color pink and that was looking very nice and finally when I delve into the process of making it they told me about that this is a handmade product which is carefully made by the worker artist with the due care.

I really find this glass painting of a humming bird sucking nectar from a tree fascinating. This is mainly because I had made this glass painting when I was in class 6. I find it beautiful because of the vibrant colors that I had used to make it like red, yellow, green and blue. I have always been interested in birds and their habits. So when I made this painting, I made sure that I could bring the bird to life through the colors of the glass painting. Further, I had put a lot of effort to draw the body of the bird and hence when my teacher appreciated me after completing the painting, I felt that I had done justice to the beauty of the bird. Further, I also liked this painting because of another reason that hummingbirds are very small in size and you cannot actually understand the details of the hummingbird if you do not draw them well. I wanted to draw this particular bird and whenever I see this painting, it reminds me of the time when I was really good at painting. However, nowadays I am not really into painting anymore. I am more into sketching. I like sketching portraits nowadays.

I am interested in many art forms like drawing, painting, canvas painting is my main genre of painting which I like the most. I have made myself the painting which I love the most and adore it because it's made by me. It is a beautiful scenery, looks like a view of mountains or rivers, there's water, there's sea and I find it very calm and soothing to look at the painting. I had taken so much efforts while making it, it was like a two feet canvas which I had to draw and paint which was quite an experience for me and I enjoyed doing it so much. I have placed it currently in my living room so that I can watch it whenever I walk into the room or walk into the house, the first thing. Although I also like many other types of paintings like I like colouring things.

Recently I particularly picked an object called a singing bowl. It looks very unique and in Buddhism they used it for meditating. It produces some sounds like high frequency that makes our mind feel very pleasant and de-stressful. The object is engraved with more historical images like Buddha's and Shiva's shaman chakra. Moreover it is made up of copper, sorry bronze. So the sound of a singing bowl is quite a wonderful thing. When you meditate you can use it. Along with the bowl they have given a wooden stick. At the end it is wrapped with a rubber strip. So if we hit the bowl with one corner and we have to give a pressure under the tip of the bowl on top. When we circulate it the frequency is travelled on what the wave we are rotating the bowl means. The frequency also travels through the operations. So if the frequency is annoying means we don't get a perfect result. They don't justify using this for meditation purpose. It's a wonderful thing.

A one object I find particularly beautiful is a handcrafted wooden jewellery box that I had received as a gift from my family friend. It's not something very large or expensive, but the design and craftsmanship are truly impressive. The box was made of dark polished wood and it topped this card with delicate floral patterns. It also has tiny brass hinges and a velvet lined interior. What I loved the most is the attention to the details. You can tell that it was made with a lot of care and skill. It has a slightly vintage feel, almost like something you'd find in a very old antique shop. I kept it on my shelf and every time I see it, it attaches a feel of elegance to the room. I find it beautiful, not just because of how it looks, but because it's a sense of history and uniqueness. In a world full of mass-produced items, sometimes handmade feels extra special.

Well, there are many objects which I am, I have an affinity to, but there is one object which is ceramic vase, which adds the beauty to my, which enhance the beauty of my drawing room. I have placed it just in the corner, it's a big vase, square in the shape and handcrafted with the Arabic language. I bought this from the place called Khulja, it is famous for blue pottery and one can buy, one can buy every range of pottery from there, from like 10 bucks to let's say 50,000 bucks for one particular product and this is special for me because my sister is having one factory in this place and she particularly made this pot according to the size, according to the size and shape of my room and she designed this pot with her own hand, that is the reason this is, this vase is too close to my heart, moreover in Arabic language she wrote my name and one, another side she wrote my daughter's name and the opposite side of her, my daughter's name, my husband name is also mentioned and the one side of that pot contains my whole family name in Arabic. This is the beauty of this particular, this pot and this was the gift given by my sister and not only, not only this was a gift, but I think a heart, a piece of her heart she took out from her inside and she put all her energy and efforts to make it more beautiful and

So, I live near a park. It's a 1 km long park and one can walk 500 m on each side and everyday I see trees on it. The way the leaves ruffle with the wind and it makes the whistling kind of sound, it amazes me. So, I like the flowers on it. It's currently spring season so I can see lot of flowers in Bangalore city. And the time when it's most beautiful is definitely sunrise or sunset. Not exactly sunset but couple of hours before sunset and couple of hours after sunrise. It makes me wonder about the pace of the world which we currently live in. It makes me stop and ponder for a second on what humans are really created for. It makes me reflect on myself. At the same time, the beautiful colors mimic the chaos of the world which we live in. It also stimulates different senses in a very particular way. That is, I listen to the sound of the leaves rustling and bustling. At the same time, I see the colorful flowers on it. So, it's a very wonderful experience.

I find the Mona Lisa particularly beautiful. This is because it's a magnificent painting. I admire the artwork, the brush strokes used, the style, the expression of the woman who is in the painting. It was made by Leonardo da Vinci during the Italian renaissance and it shows the new expressionism, the intricacy of painting and it's something which I can look at for days because I still marvel at the excellence of it, how it was made and so called the beauty, how it was painted, the background, the subtle background, the dark background, the fact that it looks so lifelike. You do it as a painting, it looks like a real woman. It's also something worth thinking about whether the woman in the painting, who was she in real, was she a real person, how does she smile and where did she smile, her expression, etc.

This year on my birthday, one of my office colleagues gifted me a brooch. It's really beautiful, handcrafted and it's amazing. So, when I first saw it, I was completely shocked that how is this possible with a human hand that someone can make this beautiful brooch with metal, wires, brass and aluminium and different kind of metals are used in this project I think. Why I find this beautiful is that because it is really delicate. You can see how much time would have been used to make this thing. It actually is amazing to see this. From what I remember, it was made by artisans in this small village of Odisha known as Ramganjpur. It is famous for all the art that they do. In this small village, there are 15 to 20 homes that only make art and they are supported by the government of India. Some do hand modelling, some make sculptures, some of them make paintings, miniature paintings etc. Some do the metal work from which my friend got me this beautiful brooch. It's of an insect that looks like a grasshopper but it has beautiful wings that are carved. It has beautiful antennas that are rolled from a single wire.
