When I was a kid, I had a little pencil box which had these four buttons which gave the pencil box an operative use. When you press the button, the box would open up. When you press the second button, a little part of it would slide out. Basically it was just a little electronical and a fun thing to have and I owned it when I was in 6th. One day after break, I was standing and talking there with one of my friends and another friend of mine was running through the hallway and accidentally she pushed my shoulder and my pencil box hit the ground and it broke into multiple pieces to the point that it was not functional anymore.

Answer

It Ends With Us is a book I read recently. It's by the author Colleen Hoare. It's mainly a story about two teenagers, Atlas and Lily, and how they just handle their life going through high school, adolescence, and just domestic violence at home. Both of them come from very, very different families. However, they have one common determining factor between them, which is domestic violence. The abuse that they've seen their moms go through is just insane, and they connect through that on a different level. They're actually in the same high school, but they never speak to each other until Atlas actually crashes into an empty house next to Lily's villa. When Atlas is homeless and he doesn't have anywhere to go, he just comes and breaks into the house next to Lily's, and Lily helps him with all the daily necessities like clothes and food, medicines and stuff. Furthermore, their friendship blossoms into love, but it doesn't really fructify as Atlas has to leave. This book really gave me a lot of knowledge about domestic abuse and how to deal with it.

So this is from a movie that was released in the early 2000s. The movie's name was Isht. It has a very soft melody song called Neem Neem. So it goes like Kabhi Neem Neem, Kabhi Shehz, Shehz. So it describes how a relationship can be bitter at the same time it can be sweet as honey. I love this song because the detailings are very kind of yin and yang type of a song which describes a relationship's positives and negatives at the same time. The singer is A. R. Rahman and music composition is also done by him as he is a great singer and a composer so he has received awards internationally. All of his songs are just amazing but I love this one as the music and melody just soothes my ears and I have learnt the whole lyrics just because it's that amazing. That movie has multiple other songs that are quite extraordinary.

The song which I really like is Hamari Aduri Kahani. It is a Hindi song. It translates in incomplete love story. It's like our incomplete story. The song is purely based on the fact that in the movie there will be a male lead and a female lead but they will have a love which ends up to be incomplete. I really like this song because it was sung by my favorite singer Arjit Singh and I also like the reprised version of Shreya Ghoshal. She is also one of my other favorite female singers. The song is so mellifluous and it flows so well. I am quite a singer myself and this song is quite easy to sing. Whenever I hear this song, it kind of takes me back to a time where I had one of such experience but I am over it. Even though it's my favorite song, I would avoid listening to it often because it brings back all the memories of my past. So this song has such a connection with me and sometimes songs speak more than words and considering myself as a person who loves art, particularly music, songs such as Hamari Adori Kaani is such a delicacy I would say.

A very interesting song that I recently listened to is called Varaharopam from the movie Kantara. It talks about Panjurli which is a form of Lord Shiva and it tells about the roots of Karnataka district and their invoking of God Shiva. What is interesting about this song is that it has lyrics in Sanskrit. As someone who has learnt Sanskrit for quite a long time, I found this song to be very interesting and besides it is also set in a beautiful Raga called Todi which I have deep connections with as it is my favourite Karnataka music Raga. What amazed me is the fact that I am an atheist myself and yet I find myself bowing before the God every time I listen to this music because it has such moving lyrics and also I get goosebumps every time I listen to this song and also see the video visuals that are associated with it.

One of the songs that I find very interesting is Sab Te Ram, the beautiful track from the famous Bollywood movie Baaghi and Baaghi which has been one of my favourites, the song is mainly about love and togetherness, the lyrics express the dedication of a couple, dedication of a couple towards each other, moreover how one can completely devote themselves to the person they love. I first heard this song a few years ago when I went to watch the Bollywood movie Baaghi in the cinema with my partner Vishal, during the movie the song was played and we were just looking at each other in the silence while enjoying the melody, that moment has created a very romantic atmosphere which I can't forget. Even now whenever I listen to it, it makes me feel nostalgic and more connected to that song. The song was sung by famous singer Armaan Malik and Shraddha Kapoor, primarily an actress, I was quite impressed by the way she sang that song, overall their voices blended perfectly which made the song sound perfect.

The interesting song which I have heard till date is Lal Ishq from the movie Ramleela and it is sung by one of the finest singers Arijit Singh. He is a Punjabi singer. The features which makes this task, this song very fascinating is its blend of classical music with modernization. The technique with which the singer has sung the song is truly commendable. It includes both high and low notes. The background music is equally fascinating and the chorus part is very much appreciable. All together, summing up the lyrics and the music together results in a very mesmerizing and eloquent song that any person would fall in love with it once they hear it. Whenever I am in a sad or a gloomy mood, I end up listening to this song and my mood truly lightens up and I feel refreshed.

A song that I think is an interesting one will be Circles by Seventeen. It is a K-pop boy band and I really like this song because it has a meaning, emotional meaning behind it. This song was written by Woozi, a member of Seventeen when Wonwoo, his fellow member when his mother passed away and he was having a really hard time coping with it, Woozi came up with this song as a way of comforting him and there is this one specific line in the song which when translated to English goes like, as a hand of a clock it goes round and round and eventually come back to its original place and it has such a deep meaning to it because we all feel like we are just running out of time and we are always at the wrong place or at the wrong time and we never see, it never seems like anything is going the way we want it to but we forget to see that the life is just going round and round and we will eventually come to the place we originally started and the whole song holds such a deep meaning to it and it has a special place in my heart, every time I listen to it I get very emotional, it mostly feels like the song is speaking to me and that is how a song should make you feel, this is why I really love this song.

The song which I really like is Love by Ed Sheeran. The first time when I listened to this song, it gave me goosebumps as the song talks about an unconditional love for someone and I quite feel relatable because I have the same feeling for my husband. The song is something which changed my life. I started perceiving my life in a different way. Although I didn't expect a song would make such a big impact on me, but it did change my mental health, my physical health. I feel quite energetic, over the moon and ready to take on the world. The song talks about the love which is unconditional, a love, the real value of it, how important it is to give love to somebody and in return you don't have to ask anything. This song does make an impact on my life.

So the song I'm going to talk about is Ordinary. It's by Alex Warren and he wrote this song dedicated to his wife. It's such a beautiful and mesmerizing song to hear because the first time I heard it I still remember I was in complete shock the way the words were portrayed by him and the whole music video dedicated to his wife. It was just a mind blowing experience actually. So in this song Alex Warren talks about how special his wife is and how she has been through all the struggles in life with him and she's always there for him even if he was homeless or there were times where people did not believe in him but she always believed in him. And there's this one particular line in that song that I really love is when he mentions all the angels in the world are jealous of this love which is so metamorphically beautiful. I just love the way love is being portrayed in this song. I've never heard a song such beautifully portrayed and I think it's one of those songs which I would like to play at my weddings because I actually had tears when I saw the wife reaction him playing this song to his wife. It was just a beautiful beautiful song. I think I can actually show it to my kids.

The song To Begin Again by Ingrid Mikkelsen and Zen Malik. It was a song that was released in COVID and I absolutely love that song. It is so interesting. It starts off by describing a situation that a person is where they feel like it feels like the end of the world and nothing makes sense anymore and they are in a difficult situation and to them this is it nothing else happens. But when they get up they see everybody all around them is moving and they are moving again and again and again. They see the sunrise again. There is a dialogue in the song that says to begin again, to begin again, the sun rises, the kids play as if nothing has happened and that to me is motivating and that's why I love that song so much and it's very interesting and highly highly motivating.

Band 7

A song that I personally find very interesting is Tum Prem Ho Tum Preet Ho by Mohit Chauhan which is just a phenomenal song and it is about pure love. The song is actually from a TV show called Krishna and Radha and this song just explains what true love actually is. It is not about war. It is not about violence. It is just what one can do for his love. It is just about how one expresses his love to his lover and it is just phenomenal. I mean it is mind-blowing. I think the way the singer sang the song, this was just amazing. I mean the melody of this song is just awesome and what truly makes it a special song is that its lyrics and the way the song has been sang just pierces through your heart and that I personally find very interesting.
