When I was a kid, I had a little pencil box which had these four buttons which gave the pencil box an operative use. When you press the button, the box would open up. When you press the second button, a little part of it would slide out. Basically it was just a little electronical and a fun thing to have and I owned it when I was in 6th. One day after break, I was standing and talking there with one of my friends and another friend of mine was running through the hallway and accidentally she pushed my shoulder and my pencil box hit the ground and it broke into multiple pieces to the point that it was not functional anymore.

    Answer

It Ends With Us is a book I read recently. It's by the author Colleen Hoare. It's mainly a story about two teenagers, Atlas and Lily, and how they just handle their life going through high school, adolescence, and just domestic violence at home. Both of them come from very, very different families. However, they have one common determining factor between them, which is domestic violence. The abuse that they've seen their moms go through is just insane, and they connect through that on a different level. They're actually in the same high school, but they never speak to each other until Atlas actually crashes into an empty house next to Lily's villa. When Atlas is homeless and he doesn't have anywhere to go, he just comes and breaks into the house next to Lily's, and Lily helps him with all the daily necessities like clothes and food, medicines and stuff. Furthermore, their friendship blossoms into love, but it doesn't really fructify as Atlas has to leave. This book really gave me a lot of knowledge about domestic abuse and how to deal with it.

Just beside my flat, I have a neighbor. She lives with her husband alone. I remember during my childhood, I used to always see her carrying her red color umbrella with her. She used to carry it everywhere, no matter how many items she carried with herself. She always used to have that umbrella with her. I am unsure whether she is using that for a sunny day or for rainy season. Most of the people in our locality carry umbrella only during the time of rainy season. She is the only one person who has been carrying this umbrella throughout her life without any particular reason. It was intriguing at the same time because I never knew the reason why she was carrying that particular umbrella. Speaking of her personal character, outwardly speaking, she was a stout little lady with a nonchalant attitude and very grim in appearance. Most of the neighbors used to rarely speak to her. I have never seen her speaking with someone else. But I have seen few visitors coming to her house once or twice in a month. But that's the only time that I have seen someone coming to her house. Other times, I think she preferred a solitude like this.

    Band 6-7

Well, I'm going to talk about my neighbor and for the fact, as long as I remember, I have known my neighbor since my childhood days, since the time I probably think that he is my neighbor. I'm going to talk about my neighbor. As far as I remember, we have been friends since childhood, uh, I'm going to talk about my neighbor. I'm going to talk about my neighbor, who also is my best friend. We've been friends since childhood days. We were, we started walking together, we are, our birthdays are even one month apart. So we've been friends even before we started walking. We are very close, we've been, we've been together since a very long time, 25 years now, to be very precise. Not just that, we have even gone to school together, we would, uh, we would, I'll stop Well, I'm going to talk about my neighbor, who's also my best friend. We have known each other since childhood, to be very precise, our birthdays are just one month apart and we were friends, not were, but we actually still friends. We were friends even before we started walking. The bond that we share, it is not just like friends, but we are like soul sisters. We do not get to meet very often nowadays, since we both are in different cities, but at least once in a year, we do get to meet when we travel back home from different states to our hometown for Diwali's or maybe some occasions. But earlier as a child, we would spend each and every day together. We would never get tired of each other. We would chat, hang out. We even have very common circles of friends and that is the best thing, I believe. She is kind, humble, empathetic, above all, she is helpful. She has just been like a rock for me. She's always been there when I'm down at my dumps. She has been a resistance, she has been a resistance line in my life. When I hit highs and a rock bottom, when I hit my lows. So I believe that she is the best thing that has ever happened to me so far and like there are so many things that I can tell about her.

My interesting neighbor would be a four-year-old child that lives right above us. She is very active and she is a very interesting person. I have known her since her birth because I've been living in this place for the past decade and I've seen her growing since her birth and she is really active and she is very enthusiastic person. Yeah, I hang out with her very often, usually she visits our house when she comes back from school. We both enjoy watching cartoons and she tells me about her day, how she spent her day in school, what she learned. Recently she had a gathering performance, so she showed me her dance steps and we practiced together, so yeah, I enjoy hanging out with her.

    Band 6-7

When thinking about an interesting neighbor, there is only one name that came to my mind and his name is Abhinav. Actually he is younger than me by 5 years or something and he has been my neighbor for almost 10 years now. He came to our neighborhood in 2014 or something and at that time we were not that much close.

    Band 6-7

We had neighbors of age group from 50 to 60 years old approximately and I found them interesting because every morning they used to take a newspaper and go for a morning walk and coincidentally that was my time for a morning walk as well. I remember they used to discuss interesting news with me and discuss new developments in India and used to story tell me about how this all was changed during that time and how that is different in current times. They left our neighbor around 5 years ago and they were neighbors in my current housing property where I stay right now. I used to find them really friendly and I used to love how they used to treat me like their own child and that's why that is one of my favorite childhood memories I would say. That was a neighbor couple and I remember the lady being an awesome cook because she used to cook various kinds of non-vegetarian and vegetarian recipes for me and it was a true delight to get fed by her. It is an amazing and very nostalgic experience when I recall those things and I would love to relive in that moment again. I really felt bad when they left our neighborhood which was because they could not afford to pay rent because staying next to my house used to be expensive for them because this is a developed area and that's why I cherish those memories of staying next to my house.

    Band 6-7

An interesting neighbor which I want to talk about is my flat neighbor. She is Ms. Celine Saldana and I know her from the past 20 years of my life. She's been a teacher in my school and I have known her having ethical values, discipline, compassionate and a motherly behavior towards me. I have definitely known her since my childhood and while growing up I have seen her prosper and develop in her field of work. I rarely hang out with her but then I love doing so. Sometimes when I want to go to the market, I go with her to the market as well as we have zonal picnics and community picnics which we go together.

    Band 6-7

So, Mr. Goho is my neighbor and what amuses me that he has got an intense interest of reading books and watching movies and TV shows. Whatever I have asked by far, more or less, he has watched everything and it is surprising that he gets so little time to do that but he actually makes use of every fragment of time he has got. He is basically an associate professor in a university and apart from that, he is also associated with multiple organizations that are working with law and AI and small business entrepreneurs, etc. He is doing so many works yet he actually gets time to serve to his passion and when I asked him why he does it, he said that he is doing all this work so that he gets to provide him more books and since I am a foodie, I asked him about food as well but he said that food doesn't interest him. If anybody offers him food and side by side books, he would choose books because that is what he loves and honestly, I have never seen a person who is so much fond of books. It actually is very much surprising as well as admiring. It makes me respect him too much. He is a nice guy, happy to go guy and he is very helpful as well but more or less, he performs like a robot to be honest which I obviously don't get why he does that. I guess high IQ people are like that.

    Band 6-7

An interesting neighbor I called, for me it is one of my friend called Amit. Though he is my neighbor, he was also in my school as well from 7th standard. We were in the same school called 7th Day Adventist. Later from the school we got to know that we do stay nearby that is like there and my home was just almost 2 meters away. He also had his sister called Divya. She was my sister's friend. So we all developed a very good bond. It was so fun that we always engaged in playing games. We used to go to school all together by the bicycle in the morning around 8.30 and come back all together by 4.30 to the home. And then we used to take some rest and then have some fun at home. And then we all used to gather outside in the streets to play some games. We usually played hide and seek and coco games all together. Them with my other school and my neighbor friends. It was such a good bond to explain like though we are friends and neighbors we all had developed a feeling of oneness and a family. So it was really very interesting for us. We used to go to their homes. We used to cook all together and then we used to have so much fun. One very good incident I remember is it was his birthday time. During his birthday time we celebrated first in the school. We both were in the same school. And then after coming back we all arranged a surprise birthday party for him at his home. And then we called all our school friends. It was so fun like we had also even some games like we did the painting and we had so much fun.

    Band 6-7

So the neighbor which I would like to talk about today is my neighbor named Mr. Pradeep Jha. We have known him since a really long time. Since we moved in their house, we have known him for around 12 years, my family, and personally me also. He is just not an ordinary neighbor. He is a really kind guy, and we share a really good bond with him, and he has been an integral part of our family. Since we invite him and his family, and he also invites us to every single relative function and some family functions. We share a lot of talks with each other on a daily basis, but unfortunately we haven't had any chance to hang out together. But if given a chance, we would love to. But yeah, last time I still remember we went to Gwalior Trade Fair. It was a really good experience with his family and my family, such as moving into some rides, eating together, and also he is helping us in several ways, such as telling us that our car is not still in garage when we forgot to park it there, to stop it from getting stolen. He is always trying to help us in some kind of way and always being kind to us. He always shares the new made dishes which his wife tries to cook and then he takes to us and we do the same too with him. It's been a really good fortune that we have such a kind neighbor, and I'm really glad to have him because he has helped us in several ways.
