It Ends With Us is a book I read recently. It's by the author Colleen Hoare. It's mainly a story about two teenagers, Atlas and Lily, and how they just handle their life going through high school, adolescence, and just domestic violence at home. Both of them come from very, very different families. However, they have one common determining factor between them, which is domestic violence. The abuse that they've seen their moms go through is just insane, and they connect through that on a different level. They're actually in the same high school, but they never speak to each other until Atlas actually crashes into an empty house next to Lily's villa. When Atlas is homeless and he doesn't have anywhere to go, he just comes and breaks into the house next to Lily's, and Lily helps him with all the daily necessities like clothes and food, medicines and stuff. Furthermore, their friendship blossoms into love, but it doesn't really fructify as Atlas has to leave. This book really gave me a lot of knowledge about domestic abuse and how to deal with it.

Something very important in life I learned was back in 2016 when I was walking with Amazon and I was stressed one day and my manager happened to notice that and he came up to me and he did not ask me if something was bothering me and what was it. Instead he told me whatever that is bothering is not his business and he just then asked me one question if I had any control over that thing or not. Then he followed by letting me know one thing, if I do not have any control over that thing whatever that was bothering me, then I am wasting my time and wasting my energy chasing that thing down and I am losing out on things that I can actually control and do something about. That day it opened my eyes to a whole new perspective towards life and it changed my attitude towards things forever. In every situation I put myself in that very same place where I ask myself if the thing that is bothering me or stressing me over or whatever, if I have any control over it or not. If I have any control over it, it's well and good, I can totally pay attention to it, do my best, spend my time on it, my energy on it and get it done. If that thing is something that I do not have any control over, I just accept and let go. That makes it very easy for me to manage my energy, my peace of mind, my mental state. It's been a great advice and I happen to advise it to anyone that comes to me with the same

In 2020, I decided to learn how to make some fresh juice by myself instead of picking from the grocery stores. In 2020, I tried to look at, check through my feeding habits and how I'm going to improve them. You know, what I'm taking and what is there in the market to balance my meal. So I decided I was going to be making my juice myself. So I started off with, I looked at a five pack of juice. So I selected the five citrus, that's the orange, the tangerine, I took up the lime, the lemon and mixed with mango. So I blended them, I tested them, they were fresh and they were nutritious and healthy. Now from then on, I started checking up on other fruits and I've been improving from one smoothie, one juice to another, making it so delicious and healthy. Everyone likes that. So not much, I hardly go to the store to buy juice. I prepare the other juice I want, my home. If I want to make pineapple juice with beetroot, I get them, I mix it and what else can I get? What do I want to achieve? I want to achieve a healthy drink. I have felt so good that I could make a lot of juice for myself and for the family, everyone enjoys it.
