When I was a kid, I had a little pencil box which had these four buttons which gave the pencil box an operative use. When you press the button, the box would open up. When you press the second button, a little part of it would slide out. Basically it was just a little electronical and a fun thing to have and I owned it when I was in 6th. One day after break, I was standing and talking there with one of my friends and another friend of mine was running through the hallway and accidentally she pushed my shoulder and my pencil box hit the ground and it broke into multiple pieces to the point that it was not functional anymore.

It Ends With Us is a book I read recently. It's by the author Colleen Hoare. It's mainly a story about two teenagers, Atlas and Lily, and how they just handle their life going through high school, adolescence, and just domestic violence at home. Both of them come from very, very different families. However, they have one common determining factor between them, which is domestic violence. The abuse that they've seen their moms go through is just insane, and they connect through that on a different level. They're actually in the same high school, but they never speak to each other until Atlas actually crashes into an empty house next to Lily's villa. When Atlas is homeless and he doesn't have anywhere to go, he just comes and breaks into the house next to Lily's, and Lily helps him with all the daily necessities like clothes and food, medicines and stuff. Furthermore, their friendship blossoms into love, but it doesn't really fructify as Atlas has to leave. This book really gave me a lot of knowledge about domestic abuse and how to deal with it.

I went to a restaurant called Shanghai during my weekend break wherein I went to this place. This was located in Goriya. It is quite near to my place and not much away. However, I did not visit this outlet yet. I went to the outlet that was located in Chinatown. It is located in a special area in Kolkata which is dedicated only for Chinese people. So this is a very popular Chinese restaurant there. So my main attraction for going to this restaurant was trying out this dish called Mochi. So actually this is a Japanese dish but in Chinese they call it as a sweet rice cake. It is made out of rice, glutinous flour and cream cheese. So this experience was very nice. However, the texture was not something that I expected it to be like. I visited this place with my parents. So it was like a family gathering we had after a long time. Due to our busy work schedules, we don't get a lot of time to be together. But during this small weekend outing, we were together and it was really fun. So this experience that I had in this Chinese restaurant was a memorable thing for me. Thank you.

Here I would like to talk about Kitchen's Recipe, which is a very popular restaurant in our city. Basically, it takes me around 30 minutes from my home and when we get there, it's on basically second floor, nearby Chakli Circle. Furthermore, it provides very scrumptious dishes with very fascinating drinks and so more things. However, there is a variety of food and some other like Mexican. The dishes were very compelling and sometimes even we are appalled. The milieu at this restaurant was very calm and refreshing. I have been to so many restaurants in our city, but my most favorite and popular restaurant would be the Secret Kitchen because it has various dishes and drinks to serve their customers. Besides that, the aroma itself was very tempting. After that, they have variety of foods and some other foreign dishes as well. For example, some Italian and seafood as well. I am not very fond of non-vegetarian dishes, but I would love to have their Alio Olio as it's my most favorite dish at that with some mojito. However, I really like some other dishes as well, but my most favorite part would be this. In spite of that, their service is 10 on 10 and their waiters are also very kind and very gentle to their customers. Even though sometimes on our request, they made some custom dishes like if I want something in my Alio Olio, so if I request them to make it more spicy, so they would do it exactly, which is my most, I love that thing. The taste they serve is very special.

So recently, like a month ago, I went to a restaurant with my family. It was located in the city center of Jaipur, which is known as Rambhav Palace. And this is like a very, very expensive restaurant. Not only in Jaipur, but in the entire state of Rajasthan. Initially, I was quite skeptical and I didn't have any high hopes from this restaurant. But to my surprise, their service, their ambience and their food was delicious and immaculate. I had a great time there with my family and friends. We ate a lot of stuff, starting with paneer tikka masala and butter naan, followed by some mango lassi. I also ate a dessert called ras malai. These were the things that I enjoyed, but the most favorite dish for me was ras malai. It was sweet and tender and it had a nice aroma of rose, which was very appealing to me. So yeah, that was my experience.

So there is one restaurant in my city. I have been there in couple of months ago. The restaurant is called under the name tree. The reason why I love this restaurant is because one of the very renowned architect of my city has designed it, Mr. Hiran Patel. And to be honest, I'm really fond of restaurants around my city, but this specific place makes me want to go there again and again. There are three main reasons why I really like to visit it again, particularly because one is that I like the food, the way of presentation and the culinary art that the cook has in that space is really impressive. Other than that, I really like the ambience, the overall ambience, the overall feel that you get when you enter the space. It's very cozy. It's very comfortable. It's very inviting. That's another reason. And third thing, honestly, that you can't consider as a reason, but I consider it because whenever I have to give myself a good treat, you know, I go there because it's quite expensive. It's not any basic restaurant. The dishes are such that you have to think again before ordering something. You would start looking at the right-hand side of the dish. And overall, I think I've been to that restaurant plenty of times. One, the last time I went there was with my friend. I was throwing him a dinner party because he gifted me some articles and that's when I actually went there, I remember. And I always wait for an opportunity to go there again. And I think very soon I'm going to go there because as soon as I complete my test, I think I'll buy a good treat for myself.

When I was in my 3rd year of college, I had a very leisure time. I spent it in Swaad Dadar hotel, which had very good reputation in veg thali or I would say a veg meal. Me and my 2 friends of college, we went to Dadar at evening for dinner. It has very good, I would say one of the best teas in the world. I ate veg thali there and also I liked the taste of their vegetables, their spices they use. Apart from that, it was kind of little inclined towards affordable than that of the other hotels in nearby areas because the area this hotel is located is kind of high budget or which comes with the higher cost of living. Furthermore, I liked the ambience of this hotel restaurant. It has very much Indian culture, arts written all over the walls. Overall, it was very pleasant experience. The chef came out to greet us and told the secret ingredients. I mean he just was in cheerful mood, so he just said secret ingredient. But I believe it won't be the secret ingredient, it won't be just...

One restaurant which I have enjoyed going to every time I visit is Marco Polo. Marco Polo is located in central Calcutta and its prime location attracts a variety of people. The prices, though a little on the higher end, are doable. The food, however, is one of the tastiest I have eaten in a multi cuisine restaurant. They serve food varying from Chinese cuisine to Indian cuisine and they excel in every single dish they make. I have been visiting Marco Polo for the last 20 years and I share a very special bond with it. The steward of the restaurant also knows us by names now. He has seen us grown up. As a child, I would always eat cherries from the bar counter and sit there while everyone watched me. I have very fond memories of this place and this is also one of my favourite places because whenever we had a relative or friend visiting us from outside Calcutta, we used to always take them to Marco Polo because we were very sure that this restaurant will never disappoint. Marco Polo also holds a special place in my heart because it is one of the first places which inspired me to cook. When I felt like replicating one of Marco Polo's dishes, little did I know that it was the start of one of my favourite experiences. The experience of being in the kitchen and feeding people. Marco Polo will always hold a special place in my heart and I wish to visit it 20 years from now as well.

When I was working in Mohali, we used to go to this restaurant called as Dana Pani. It was approximately 20 kilometers away from my residing place and once every month, me and my friends used to visit there. So its name was Dana Pani, which is a Punjabi word meaning food and shelter. So after a period of time that even the restaurant's owner got familiar with us and he used to give a special discount on food services. And what I feel was special about this restaurant was that it provided Indian food but even if you wanted it to be customized according to your level, they will do the customization on the spot. So that was something which was different about this restaurant compared to other food codes. Along with that, I used to find it more affordable compared to others and also in addition to Indian food, they also gave this Indo-European kind of food choices as a token. So short services. So after leaving my job there, I do miss that place a lot. Basically because of the food and specifically I didn't get the chance to visit there because all my friends left for abroad either for studies or job opportunities. So if I would say that if I ever get a chance to visit again, Mohali, then I'll definitely go there and it brings back memories.

One of the most memorable experiences I had was celebrating my birthday at Mayo restaurant. It was special because it wasn't just about the food or the place but the people who made it unforgettable. My fiance and my family. This was the first time we all visited Mayo together which added to the excitement and made the day feel unique. The atmosphere was amazing and we created some beautiful memories sharing laughter stories and great food. It felt like the perfect blend of love and happiness and spending time with both my fiance and family was truly heartwarming. This experience is something I'll always cherish because it wasn't just about celebrating another year, it was about being surrounded by the people who mattered the most to me. It made my birthday extra special and left me with fond memories to look back on. Having my fiance and family together in one place made it an unforgettable day for me. It was a celebration filled with laughter, delicious food and heartfelt connections reminding me how important it is to share these moments with loved ones. A restaurant that I enjoyed going to was in Hyderabad. It is a very small restaurant, it is nearby my hostel. Its name is Trio and everyday me and my best friend used to go to this hotel or restaurant Post Gym and there is only one particular dish we crave. We ordered that dish everyday for a week nearly and that is Shahi Paneer. We ordered Shahi Paneer with Roti everyday in the evening. The most mouth-watering thing about the dish is it is made with Malai and there is a lot of nutritious paneer in it and we added it with Roti. Another thing which we enjoyed was Chicken Manchow Soup which is extremely tasty, there are a lot of ingredients added to it, there is pepper, there is chicken, this soup has a lot of carrots, everything and once the first gulp of the soup that's going down the throat, it makes the taste more, more, more authentic. So we kept visiting again and again and the dishes there have a different aroma and also are very authentic in its taste that we do not find anywhere else in the city. Though it is a small restaurant, the taste I think is top-notch because I have never seen many of the big places actually having that kind of taste. So this one is my personal favorite and Shahi Paneer stands out in the entire menu.
