Describe a place that wasn't kept clean.: IELTS Speaking Cue Card

One place I couldn't forget because of how untidy it was is my friend's room. Me and my friend, we hung out after our exams were completed during our holidays. I went to her room. I visited her room. I was in a disbelief looking at how untidy her room was. The room was so unorganized, piled up with too many books, leftover food, and unwashed dishes and bottles. The only thing I felt at that point was I immediately wanted to run away from that place. But in the corner of my heart, I also wanted my friend to have a tidy place. So both of us ended up cleaning her room.

A place that wasn't kept clean is my friend's apartment. Last week when I have to attend my friend's birthday party, they planned this party at their particular friend's apartment who was common for all the groups. So I went to their home. It was unexplainable. It's super untidy. Firstly, I have a habit of organizing things and maintaining things very clean. So my OCD was triggering a lot. On one hand, I really have to enjoy the birthday party because it's one of my close friends who is organizing the party and the birthday girl is also my favorite one. But on the other hand, I really can't enjoy the party seeing all the mess around me without organizing it. Everywhere, on the couch, on the table, everywhere there is a mess. The clothes were thrown in the air and the food was also not clean. And in addition to that, not only the food, not only the clothes, but there is the dust everywhere in the apartment. I think they cleaned the apartment a donkey's ears ago. So I don't think the apartment has been cleaned once in a while also. The rush of feelings in my heart to go there, to pick up things, to make them organized, to clean the apartment. But everyone around are really good. I really didn't understand what's going on. Is the mess bothering only me or everyone else is really good? Furthermore to that, the birthday party has begun. Everyone has started to enjoy, eat food, have fun. Contrast, I am not that good in staying in those places. So I found my place there.

okay so the place I feel was untidy the most was Mumbai I recently visited to Mumbai in the month of August this was my second visit and though it was the second time I was visiting it for my surprise it was still untidy and so unclean that it left a bad impression it happened like the roads were so unclean and the drainage was not working there was overflowing of dirty water from the day drainage and there was a lot of garbage like papers and cigarette butts and waste materials and even there were street vendors I noticed that the street vendors were throwing their food waste also on the roads and the worst experience was when I saw a dead fish on the subway stairs and it was horrible and the smell the streets and the pedestrian walk walking places were smelling of urine that was really unpleasant and left a really bad impression on me when even the second time I visited especially when the dirty waters were coming out from the drainage leaving the road muddy and it was a horrible smell as well so I feel like it isn't a good experience when you visit a new place and find something so unclean and untidy present over there I feel the government should take more initiative to clean the sanitary pathways and also clean the pedestrian walking areas because

Recently, I had visited one of the most beautiful cities I consider in the entire world. It is also the capital city of a beautiful country which is surrounded by mountains.

There are many places in India which are not well cleaned as we compare it with any country in the world. And the area which I am watching since my childhood which is very dirty is the main market which is just about 2-3 km away from my home. And it is full of garbage and covered with the things like polythene or any sort of other garbage. And I am watching it from last many years and it is very dusty and very bad view. And there had been many attempts to clean it and make it a very good place. But all the attempts went vain because it could not be made clean without the effort of the society. One of my brother came from Australia and when he saw the image of that place he said that it is very bad and compared it with the places in Australia. And said that it is the slum area if we compare it with Australia. So I felt very bad that my brother is saying that about my country but I thought that it is his point of view. And let me tell you something more that when one of the minister came to our locality there were many attempts to clean that because one of the biggest ministers was coming in our area so that market should look good. So these things tell us that the government can make some policies or make the attempts to clean the area.
