When I was a kid, I had a little pencil box which had these four buttons which gave the pencil box an operative use. When you press the button, the box would open up. When you press the second button, a little part of it would slide out. Basically it was just a little electronical and a fun thing to have and I owned it when I was in 6th. One day after break, I was standing and talking there with one of my friends and another friend of mine was running through the hallway and accidentally she pushed my shoulder and my pencil box hit the ground and it broke into multiple pieces to the point that it was not functional anymore.

Answer

It Ends With Us is a book I read recently. It's by the author Colleen Hoare. It's mainly a story about two teenagers, Atlas and Lily, and how they just handle their life going through high school, adolescence, and just domestic violence at home. Both of them come from very, very different families. However, they have one common determining factor between them, which is domestic violence. The abuse that they've seen their moms go through is just insane, and they connect through that on a different level. They're actually in the same high school, but they never speak to each other until Atlas actually crashes into an empty house next to Lily's villa. When Atlas is homeless and he doesn't have anywhere to go, he just comes and breaks into the house next to Lily's, and Lily helps him with all the daily necessities like clothes and food, medicines and stuff. Furthermore, their friendship blossoms into love, but it doesn't really fructify as Atlas has to leave. This book really gave me a lot of knowledge about domestic abuse and how to deal with it.

I would like to share about the dance performance that we did for our teacher's farewell. We didn't have much time. Although we didn't have much time, we kind of made it work. Our dance was one of the best and we got a lot of compliments after completing it. We didn't have enough time to even get ready but everyone told me that I looked great that day and our dance was amazing. Everybody liked it very much and we were told to dance again for the upcoming programs too. Our teachers really loved our dance performance and wanted to choreograph for a program which was conducted the next week and we also choreographed that program which went really well. We choreographed a program for primary students and they did a great job. I would say that performance has made a great impact in my life and a lot of teachers came to know that I was really talented in dancing. So overall I would say that that performance was one of my really memorable and liked performance of mine.

The one performance that I liked is of the Diljit D'Sanjh concert. This was the Diljit D'Sanjh concert at Hill in Chandigarh and it was the last Sunday when I went to Chandigarh especially for his concert and he was about to sing there as he is the artist as he is a renowned artist and a singer from Punjab, India. The best thing that I like about him is that he spreads positivity through his work and his positive nature and respecting all the religion is the vibe that resonates with me and moreover he is the one whom I follow on Instagram as well and he is the one individual that I follow on social media and his ability to spread positivity through his work is the vibe that resonates with me. So his concerts have been both in India as well as internationally, they are filled with energy and joy and his songs, they often top the charts. So his commitment to promote love and respect, that is the thing that I like the most and that is the thing that make him an inspirational figure in my life. So the basic reason for him is so basic reason that I liked his performances because I have been following him since long and he is a person who is with the grounded nature and he has that ability to spread positivity as well as he also shares the messages of unity and respect which emphasize that humanity transcends all the religion. So I would say that is the best thing that I liked him, that is the best reason I would say, describe about him.

Last year I watched Harijit Singh perform live in a concert in Chennai. He is a renowned singer in India who sings melodious songs. His voice is so soothing and beautiful that his show ticket sold out instantly. I was lucky enough to get two tickets for me and my sister. It was held in a huge ground in Roypetta area of Chennai. There were refreshments and food stalls set up for the spectators to enjoy while watching him perform. The ground was set up to accommodate more than 1 lakh people. Unfortunately, I got the ticket for Silver Stand which was very far from the stage. I couldn't see him very closely because there was a huge queue of gold and platinum stand right in front of us. He sang numerous songs and the concert went on for about 3 hours. It was a spectacular event with firecrackers and other musical bands showcasing their talent. Apart from this, I also got to shake hands with him at the end while I was waiting for my turn to take out my car. It was an unforgettable moment because it was always my dream to meet him and talk to him.

Two years ago, I participated in a dance competition and we were waiting for our turn to come. While that time, other participants were performing on the stage. The moment they went on a stage, the stage was on a fire. They performed like crazy. I really loved their performance. It was a dance performance and especially it was a classical dance which fascinated me a lot. It was truly incredible. I enjoyed the performance to its peak. And then our turn came when we performed, the same team who performed before us encouraged us like they were dancing.

There are many performances like street acts, dramas, musical performances, dances, artistic exhibitions. But the performance I liked the most was a dance performance. It was performed by a group of young individuals who were from prestigious institutions like Delhi IIT and other who come together into a group called V-Define. This group V-Define performed a dance in the Tech Fest by IIT Bombay. I went there for attending the event and exploring IIT. Then I came across this group of dancers performing a stage. I really loved their expressions and their fast dance when they were wearing yellow jackets. Also I would love to meet them personally and greet them and make them know how big of a fan I am of theirs. Also I love dancing so I would love to practice along with them and if I get a chance I would really take the opportunity to join their group.

A performance which I liked was of Matt Stonie, who performed in America's Got Talent in 2016. And that performance not only changed his life, but also influences the life of many other people as well. He performed a song, an original song, which was written by him. And that song was very much delicate and the words of the song was very nice. I still remember that I was watching that TV and I was crying. I was in tears and so much in pain that I can't even imagine that. One of the most important thing when people should remember is that you don't have to perform like the best. But if the performance is original, then it is still enough for you to get good marks. Many a times people see that they can perform outstanding, they should perform something which no one has performed ever. But that is not good. You can do something which you like. If you are good at something and you are performing that, then it is the best thing which you can do to yourself. Because if you want to become something, you should be original. If you are not original, then it is difficult for you to achieve success in that field. For example, many a times people think that engineering is difficult and we can't pursue it. But if someone is interested in engineering, then it becomes very important for that person to perform and to achieve good milestones. That performance was in 2016 and still he belongs to us and he is a very good singer. He wrote around 1000 songs and I still believe that many things I remember from him.

As you all know, I am a Vcom Marketing student and I am studying in a university. Yesterday there was a union day held and there was a beautiful dance performance by the first year Vcom Marketing which was about peacocks and they dressed like peacocks very beautifully. It was very authentic and the song selection was beautiful and it was held in our school college auditorium itself and it made most of them mesmerized on the dance and the song selection was too good. Even all the people those who didn't like dance or enjoy dance were seeing that. And I am also not that person who enjoy these stage plays but seeing that I was also stood shocked like how beautiful they dance and I also congratulated them for doing that. And that my conclusion is like yeah I saw the dance which was held in my college auditorium which is done by the junior students of our college.

The performance that I like, when you ask me this question, it takes me back to my childhood when I was in my 8th or 9th standard. So, it was a random weekend, there was an orchestra held in a central park which is in Kharghar. It's very far away from my place, so I had to take a cab and the cab actually came very late. So, we were in a very rush to go to the orchestra. The orchestra was conducted by the Indian Navy. They had officers who were performing this orchestra, they had various musicians, one who plays piano, guitarist, violinist, there were 5-6 singers. Then also, to my surprise, there were male and female singers as well. Because I thought only male singers will be there in Indian Navy, but wow, to my surprise, there were female singers as well. When I went, they started with some trending songs like, of Bollywood, which are like, from the films, Tu Juti Hai Makar and all. But, when they started man, they went back to 90s, they started singing Kishore Kumar songs, Kumar Sanu songs, Shreya Koshal song and Sunidhi. I was like, wow man, those songs took me back to the 90s. I enjoyed it a lot. It was very memorable for me.

So a performance I really liked was a fashion show. It was organized by my college as an event which we do annually. It is called the Tattva event, which is the annual event of our college and it was held in our college auditorium itself. So yes, I enjoyed the performance because of the, because of its amazing costumes, how it was set up and the music that was playing behind, the charming, the melodious music coming behind and all the participants coming in an orderly manner and how they were dressed and how effective and how imaginative the idea behind dressing would have gone to plan the entire fashion show event. So yes, I liked that about it and also there was a little dance concept they kept in between the fashion show. That idea really clicked my mind, like it was really amazing. I liked it and the dance was showing about some social events. So social cues were described through this fashion show about how males and women are discriminated based on their clothing styles and also how the clothing styles differ in males and females. So yes, that was described and also the patterns of clothing were described and how they are dressed in urban populations and rural populations. And yes, the fashion show was well coordinated. It was, it was very fun to see and I almost recorded many clips of the fashion show as well because I really liked it and showed it to my family the next day when I came after the show got over because I live in a hostel. So yes, I came back to my family and showed it to them through the videos and they also really liked it. It was a way of me to reminisce the things that I saw on the stage that day.
