When I was a kid, I had a little pencil box which had these four buttons which gave the pencil box an operative use. When you press the button, the box would open up. When you press the second button, a little part of it would slide out. Basically it was just a little electronical and a fun thing to have and I owned it when I was in 6th. One day after break, I was standing and talking there with one of my friends and another friend of mine was running through the hallway and accidentally she pushed my shoulder and my pencil box hit the ground and it broke into multiple pieces to the point that it was not functional anymore.

    Answer

It Ends With Us is a book I read recently. It's by the author Colleen Hoare. It's mainly a story about two teenagers, Atlas and Lily, and how they just handle their life going through high school, adolescence, and just domestic violence at home. Both of them come from very, very different families. However, they have one common determining factor between them, which is domestic violence. The abuse that they've seen their moms go through is just insane, and they connect through that on a different level. They're actually in the same high school, but they never speak to each other until Atlas actually crashes into an empty house next to Lily's villa. When Atlas is homeless and he doesn't have anywhere to go, he just comes and breaks into the house next to Lily's, and Lily helps him with all the daily necessities like clothes and food, medicines and stuff. Furthermore, their friendship blossoms into love, but it doesn't really fructify as Atlas has to leave. This book really gave me a lot of knowledge about domestic abuse and how to deal with it.

A time I spent with my friend. I don't have a single type of friend. I have two of them. Both of their names are Priya and Jyothi. So I met them in Bangalore during my internship. And we went to this arcade called Bounce which was in Mantri Square Mall located in Indiranagar, Bangalore. And we just randomly decided to go to the Bounce. It is kind of a theme park where they have go-karting and all the adventures. Skipping, climbing the rocks, dashing cars etc. And it was just a randomly popped out plan and I really felt very happy. Because it turned out to be a very fun and exciting part. I was very excited for this adventure and it was very unexpected. It was not planned. It was just a random Saturday or Sunday. Just a random weekend. And then we decided to just explore some new places and just an Instagram reel popped up in our feed and then we decided to go and give a shot to this place. And it was very memorable because we ate snacks while entering the mall, enjoyed, had fun and I think it was the best time of our lives. And it was really very memorable and I loved the time which I spent with them because they gave us hand bands, friendship socks and many more accessories with it. And we literally did zip lining, we played, we jumped on the bouncing ball and the slide and the track and the bubble thing. So it was a very happening kind of place.

A time that I spent with a friend that I found funny was when I spent an entire day with my friend Shreya. I met her after nine whole years. Last time I met her was when she exited the company where we both worked as colleagues. We were in touch over phone but never really met face to face and when I met her finally after nine long years, it was really fun. We realised that nothing had changed physically or mentally. We just picked up where we started off. We just picked up where we left off from. We sat in a cafe and we ordered some snacks, a pizza and all our favourite coffees. We started out by rekindling our memories. All our days were that we spent in the company. We just jogged our memories and also caught up on our current lives. We spoke about the travels that we had taken recently, the places we went, some of the common shows that we are watching on Netflix. We spoke a little bit about our future plans and ultimately we made a pact to meet again. After this fun meeting with my friend, I learned the value of friendship and how much effort that we have to put in order to keep this beautiful friendship going.

Being an introvert person, I had 2-3 friends while I was in college. One day we had a class after lunch but we were not having the interest to attend that class. So we planned to bunk and we made some plans to go to restaurants but we went to class to take our bags so that we can go to restaurants. Unfortunately at that time already the lecturer was present in the class room. So because of this we couldn't able to go inside the class. So we spent almost 2-3 hours in the emergency exit so that no lecturers or any students will spot us. Furthermore, during that time we had enjoyed a lot. We were like thieves there. We were like accused. So we were seeing all the sides. We were checking whether someone will come and spot us. So we were feared.

    Band 6-7

Over the years, I have made very less friends in my life, but the ones where actual friends have been my lifelong support and people whom I look upon to. Although a friend named Rakesh from my college is a person who I miss a lot because we don't get to spend much time, but it was different in his Durga Puja as he visited my place and we actually had a lot of fun during this visit. We rekindled our old memories and how we used to have fun. We had a pandal hopping throughout the day. He cracked hilarious jokes on me and also on our college days. The memories were coming in our souls, in our hearts very fresh and we had a lunch in a very mediocre restaurant because we had previously planned to have a lunch there. We shared a very favorite supper which is biryani and we ate together there and this day was very special to me because apart from the happy moments we had, we also got to visit or go back to the memory lane where we used to have fun. That's the reason it's so close to my heart.

    Band 6-7

So, a fun time that I had with my friend was during my college year, specifically second semester. This friend of mine is a very close one. His name is Sasi. He's a beautiful soul and has a vibrant personality. And the fun moment that I had with him was during our class break, where I was very much depressed because of the assessment that we had in the previous lecture and it didn't go well for me. I was very much sad about the fact that I couldn't perform really well. But he has this amazing quality of switching on and off anyone's mood. He cracked jokes and he made sure that I felt good and he made me realize that it's okay. It's okay to have a bad day. And that switched my mood and I was able to forget everything that happened and he was just there cracking lame jokes that made me laugh. And it's really nice and I feel I'm very fortunate to have such friends. And that moment in my life was very funny moment. I had a lot of fun, but also it is a very special moment.

This story is about my experience of one trip out of that chat group experience. As we all know that once we grow up we dream of having that one trip out of that whatsapp chat group with that core friends of ours. And this stood to be one of my core memory when during my birthday week I went along to Mandarmani in the West Bengal district which is a beach side with 4 core friends of mine. The 4 girls took a bus from Kolkata and we landed to Mandarmani in next 4 hours. Then we took a toto from there to travel to our hotel. It was already evening by the time we reached our hotel. We changed into our night suits and we got into a party mode. We started playing songs and dancing till our dinner arrived. And after dinner we thought to take a walk till the beach side. This walk was very calm composed when 4 friends started talking on our old memories. We revived and relived our childhood memories. After which we came back to our hotel and slept so that we could be fresh and more energetic in the next morning. As said and done we woke up the next morning with much more energy. As I was the first one to wake up I woke up, took a shower, got ready and went to the nearby mandir to offer my prayers. Later when I came back all my other 3 friends were ready and we headed for our breakfast. After breakfast we got ready and we jumped into the sea. The salty sea water grasped us and made our pictures come very lively. The wind which was salty in its sense got our hair dirty but our memories stayed to be constant with fun.

So, a time that I found fun, which I spent with my friend was when I was spending my time with my close friend of school. We were initially awkward, but gradually progressed towards comfortability with time. This was particularly due to both of our natures that are humorous and we crack jokes to entertain each other, which made us comfortable with each other and with time we really got more fun. The one thing that we enjoyed about our time was that we went to watch a movie. The movie was a sci-fi thriller. This was a genre that both of us liked inherently and wanted to explore more of this genre. We had endless discussions about the money given in the movie, when we were having food, also had debates, which made it more fun and more of an engaging time that we spent with each other. Hence.

This friend is Rhea Sharma, a very close friend of mine. She stood by my side every time with every situation, either close or high. The moment I met him was in the college. It was not like she was my friend from the first year of the college, but when we made each other friends, it was the best time. And I remember that day when we both were so frustrated, we were both so angry. We didn't know what to do and we just bugged our college and we went to Mehelu Planetarium. Best day. Because we went there, we had really fun. I remember that when we both were in that hall where all the space was and everything was displaying in the sky, theatre, we bought all our phones and we started recording it. And at that time, the instructor there, he said, instantly, put down your phones. You both are not allowed to use your phones and you both are sitting with each other. And it was such a fun moment. Because, you know, when we are coming from a healing space, when we both are not okay, we both are not good with whatever's happening, still supporting each other, being with each other, made our day. We made meals, we had fun, we had lunch that we kept with ourselves, we ate homemade food and everything was so simple and so beautiful and so fun. Because there was no extra effort that we were putting for the situation. We were just living the moment and that's how it made fun.

There was a time when me and my friends went to Pondicherry randomly without any proper plan. We were six of them. We just rented a car and just packed our bags and started off immediately. We were little tensed in the beginning because only one of us know how to drive. But we were pretty confident because he is a good driver. He really loves to drive. So we just took a shot and started off the early morning on Thursday. We were so happy because I feel sudden plans are always the best. So we started off our journey and we enjoyed a lot in between, listened to music, stopped in few places, had an amazing food in between and finally reached Pondicherry. And as we have travelled a lot, we just kinda took a rest on that day instead of visiting beach. We had some amazing dinner at the night and we woke up early in the morning and went to French Colony. We imitated and mocked other people. We had lot of fun. We did so much shopping and visited few cute cafes and spent some quiet time in the rock beach. And we thought of visiting mangrove forest but we received calls from our friends that there are many project, team divisions going on in our college but here we are in Pondicherry having fun. We were so tensed because we were the group leaders. So we were in dilemma whether to return back to the college or stay in the Pondicherry. So we were quite thinking but we just stayed off that day and started the next morning to Hyderabad. So this was a sudden planning which happened and we had quite a lot of fun even though there are some ups and downs but it was really fun.
