When I was a kid, I had a little pencil box which had these four buttons which gave the pencil box an operative use. When you press the button, the box would open up. When you press the second button, a little part of it would slide out. Basically it was just a little electronical and a fun thing to have and I owned it when I was in 6th. One day after break, I was standing and talking there with one of my friends and another friend of mine was running through the hallway and accidentally she pushed my shoulder and my pencil box hit the ground and it broke into multiple pieces to the point that it was not functional anymore.

    Answer

It Ends With Us is a book I read recently. It's by the author Colleen Hoare. It's mainly a story about two teenagers, Atlas and Lily, and how they just handle their life going through high school, adolescence, and just domestic violence at home. Both of them come from very, very different families. However, they have one common determining factor between them, which is domestic violence. The abuse that they've seen their moms go through is just insane, and they connect through that on a different level. They're actually in the same high school, but they never speak to each other until Atlas actually crashes into an empty house next to Lily's villa. When Atlas is homeless and he doesn't have anywhere to go, he just comes and breaks into the house next to Lily's, and Lily helps him with all the daily necessities like clothes and food, medicines and stuff. Furthermore, their friendship blossoms into love, but it doesn't really fructify as Atlas has to leave. This book really gave me a lot of knowledge about domestic abuse and how to deal with it.

The friend I am talking about is Arav, my school roommate and one of the funniest people I know. A few months ago we met after a long time at a hill station during a weekend break. It had been raining heavily and most of our plans got cancelled. But instead of getting bored, he suggested we build a small bonfire near our cottage and play silly games like charades and tooth or day. He kept making everyone laugh with his dramatic acting and spot on impressions of our professors. The energy we brought completely changed the mood. It became one of the most memorable nights. It was fun because it reminded me of how right people can turn any situation, good or bad, into something special. His humor and spontaneity made the entire trip worth it.

Talking about my best friend, his name is Yugal. He is a best friend since 10 years. I loved being around with him because he is very supportive towards me. Even though he is not a normal person. Normal means he comes in the category where people do not normalize. Because in the society's eyes, it might be crime. They judge him for his entire appearance. Because he accepts himself as a woman. But society is not that kind of acceptable that my friend is not getting acceptance by the society from his own family. He gets criticized, harshly criticized. And when I meet him, I get the sign of acceptance. Whatever the flaws in me, I forget. Because when I meet him, he accepts me for who I am. Where I don't have to be deceptive towards my nature. Where I can be wild, aggressive. But still he will not say anything. He will just smile and love me for who I am. And he makes all the situation better.

The happiest moment that I have taken part in was a drama competition which was conducted in Shimla, in the backdrop of the picture of skills, precious valley surrounded by verdant landscape and idyllic countryside. It was in the year 2015 while I was in the 10th standard and that I took part in this competition. My friends Neenu, Sona and Swapna were part of my drama team. Even though it has been nearly 10 years since I took part in this competition I still remember it like it was just yesterday. It was a national level competition and after most rounds were over, the teams were standing neck to neck as far as the points were concerned. The only round left was the classical drama and the winner of this round was most likely to lift the trophy of that year. I was in charge of my drama team and we decided to do Romeo and Juliet, a 16th century Shakespeare drama. We were quite serious about winning and so we focused on three areas in particular. The first area we looked into was the speech patterns. We took the help of a city linguist who trained us in diction, intonation, rhythm and other scenarios of English language. The second area we looked into was the costumes. People in 16th century did not wear the shirts and trousers like we do today. So we did a lot of research in the internet and came up with the right outcome that reflected the spirit of that time. The third area we focused was the background settings which could make or mar any drama. I am a computer expert. I designed one of the authentic looking background settings for my team. We practiced for nearly three weeks, day in and day out.

Shreya, my friend, is a really fun personality to be honest. She wears jean jackets and carries frisbees in her backpack. We both went to a beach. Shreya removed her bow tie and then removed frisbee from her backpack. And then we both played for like half an hour on the beach. We both did not know how to swim yet we were running around in the sand. We both collected seashells and had a lot of fun. This made me realize the importance of friends. I miss her so much. We used to write letters when we were afar and call each other when we missed the exams or lectures. She was the one who provided me with class notes when I was absent. I was the one who gave her German, English test papers from a random local computer and print them out. Friendships make everything so beautiful. I really miss her to be honest. There is a proverb known as fortune favors the brave and Shreya was exactly the proverb. She was the embodiment of the proverb. She was fascinating and calm and kind.

A time I spent with my friend. I don't have a single type of friend. I have two of them. Both of their names are Priya and Jyothi. So I met them in Bangalore during my internship. And we went to this arcade called Bounce which was in Mantri Square Mall located in Indiranagar, Bangalore. And we just randomly decided to go to the Bounce. It is kind of a theme park where they have go-karting and all the adventures. Skipping, climbing the rocks, dashing cars etc. And it was just a randomly popped out plan and I really felt very happy. Because it turned out to be a very fun and exciting part. I was very excited for this adventure and it was very unexpected. It was not planned. It was just a random Saturday or Sunday. Just a random weekend. And then we decided to just explore some new places and just an Instagram reel popped up in our feed and then we decided to go and give a shot to this place. And it was very memorable because we ate snacks while entering the mall, enjoyed, had fun and I think it was the best time of our lives. And it was really very memorable and I loved the time which I spent with them because they gave us hand bands, friendship socks and many more accessories with it. And we literally did zip lining, we played, we jumped on the bouncing ball and the slide and the track and the bubble thing. So it was a very happening kind of place.

I have a lot of fun moments with my friends but the one that stick to my mind the most is the one which has happened during my birthday dinner in a restaurant. It was on May 18th when I decided yeah I should give a party to all of my friends. So I invited four of my friends and we went to a nearest five-star hotel Kochi. The name of the hotel is like a Hyatt Regency. So when I go there why it was a fun moment because when I go there when I went there one of my friend has actually his eyes caught some his eyes caught some attention to one of the waitress there and they looked each other and they smiled each other and finally he asked her for a date and the best part of that is this girl this waitress was the ex-girlfriend of my one of the other friend. So we were we were looking at that moment that he was silent as long as the time my other friend was talking to her. So then finally we found out that this girl was his ex-girlfriend and the other guy is trying to make her his girlfriend. That was one of the funniest moment and in terms of whether we have enjoyed that moment yeah we all enjoyed that moment especially all four of us except the other guy who was deeply distressed by the the total situation.

A time that I spent with a friend that I found funny was when I spent an entire day with my friend Shreya. I met her after nine whole years. Last time I met her was when she exited the company where we both worked as colleagues. We were in touch over phone but never really met face to face and when I met her finally after nine long years, it was really fun. We realised that nothing had changed physically or mentally. We just picked up where we started off. We just picked up where we left off from. We sat in a cafe and we ordered some snacks, a pizza and all our favourite coffees. We started out by rekindling our memories. All our days were that we spent in the company. We just jogged our memories and also caught up on our current lives. We spoke about the travels that we had taken recently, the places we went, some of the common shows that we are watching on Netflix. We spoke a little bit about our future plans and ultimately we made a pact to meet again. After this fun meeting with my friend, I learned the value of friendship and how much effort that we have to put in order to keep this beautiful friendship going.

Being an introvert person, I had 2-3 friends while I was in college. One day we had a class after lunch but we were not having the interest to attend that class. So we planned to bunk and we made some plans to go to restaurants but we went to class to take our bags so that we can go to restaurants. Unfortunately at that time already the lecturer was present in the class room. So because of this we couldn't able to go inside the class. So we spent almost 2-3 hours in the emergency exit so that no lecturers or any students will spot us. Furthermore, during that time we had enjoyed a lot. We were like thieves there. We were like accused. So we were seeing all the sides. We were checking whether someone will come and spot us. So we were feared.
